| Okay, all that needs is a refrence the the requests for GFX in the editor and maybe something else and it will be the perfect intro! It's a challenge to try and edit the intro into a new story with only text hacking, so you have to be smart, funny, or just lucky to be able to make it good. | |||

| While the data most likely hasn't been found or even thought about, ASM is not required to do that. You can instaid edit the TSA(Is that the right term?)if someone finds that data for that sprite so it doesn't use those tiles, but then you might be forced to use tiles of another enemy you wanted to use in a castle level later, and I doubt anyone cared to do this idea before and tried to find the data, so I don't know what to say unless you are lucky enough to have somebody who is good enough to try and find it(if he knows ASM he could be better off by tracking the sprite's code and stuff but it isn't allways required). | |||

| Wow, impressive! Besides the fact that they explode instaid of flatten(you didn't have the beta SMW flatened goomba sprites most likely anyway, and it's just an example)that's awsome! Is it possible you could show how you did that? What ASM code you made and what it means in english, how you set it to use sprite 12, and how(or if)you used the Lunar Magic RATS tag format to protect it from being overwritten, or maybe you could just say how you learned this yourself. | |||

| I am guessing this time isn't much of a time for game releases, therefor rom releases will also be lacking. Next month seems to be a GBA release packed month though, with the US releases of the remakes of the first Pokemon games, as well as other games. For now, you'll have to settle with things like Super Mario Ball(Or Mario Pinball Land as it will be known as to the US when it's released)and the jap release of some Crash Bandicoot racing game, Nitro Kart or something. SMB is a fun game, might last you a day or two till you can find another game to take up your time. | |||

| I allways thought that they never appeared after getting 3 eggs so that you couldn't get more then 3 large eggs, which could end up slowing the game down, or messing up because they kinda take up the space of two small eggs behind Yoshi. | |||

| I would put in a warning message block, like... "Be carefull! If you have two eggs the larger Shyguys will go into hiding because they will fear groups of things as big as them, but you need them to go on, so beware!" I was trying to go for abit of a YI feel, not too good though... |

| It's where Mario's and Yoshi's graphics are actively updated into so he can have more sprites without limiting the space for other sprites or BG items if it is possible to read from that area. | |||

Before this is moved, I am needing this to try and find locations for level data in games. I need to know how to set up an emulator like VBA, or that one older warez no$GBA debug version, so that I can reduce the needed places to corrupt to try and find level data in a rom, which I won't mention because that would ruin the surprise  All I know is that I think LDR loads from the rom, but I still need to find out how to make it log without going through every frame checking for LDRs. |

I hardly post except for afew spruts when I feel in the mood, yet I know Lunar Magic out. I'd know it inside out but the source code is only going to be released whenever hell freezes over most likely  This proves that postcount is nothing, and the main reason I don't actually make a hack is lack of inspiration for uniqe ideas combined with lack of graphical tallent. |

| No, it isn't that simple, the lock changes the whole level format so LM can't read it, and I don't think FuSoYa can undo it, if he can he usually doesn't because he expects people to not be so careless as to lock a hack and delete the backup. I think there should be a default option to make a backup called .bak so you don't mess with it until you are told to. | |||

| What I hate is people who kill what you all call newbies, usually refered to by alot as "OMFG N00B DIE *killed with level 75 attack or other one or two hit kill weapon*" by the ones I am saying I hate. They are usually called PKers, you know, you get on for the first time, or maybe you are exploring, enter a place you thought was empty, and people in there go "OMFG DID U HAK?!?!?!?!?" and "die n00b". | |||

| How ironic considering the name... I don't really know what to say about it that others won't instantly feel when reading it and viewing the screens and trailer video of the now dead fangame of epic levels, which would of had their personal 10 best scenes from Chrono Trigger, in full high quality 3D, the characters have the quality of something professonally from Square-Enix, or better. Same for the remakes of songs. |

I never remember anything about them selling it, just them building an engine that would allow them to put it on the three main systems. And it only was remaking the 10 best scenes in the game, without spoiling too much story, from what I remember. But yes, they didn't ask Square-Enix. Too bad, I was looking forward to this... |

I sadly overlooked this hack's second release, thinking that it was the original demo thread, or one for screens, due to stupidity and lack of attention. It has now came to my attention that the creator of this professonal quality hack is going to cancel it. Please don't. It is... well, professonal, in the good fun way, not busness way mind you. Hopefully my reply will attract more people to decide to post, even just a "Good hack" reply will, while not being as helpfull, help boost GoYo's enthusiasm. | I didn't know any thread this would fit in, so I decided to make my own. I have discovered some info on the watermellon contest sprites. First is 1B7. No matter where I put him he'll fall from the sky. This sprite doesn't move much, but it will sometimes grab a watermellon from the Watermellon generator. Otherwise it appears to be a peacefull good natured sprite. However, if you lose Baby Mario, it will attempt to steal him, though even if he touches him he can't do anything. He'll also start to spit seeds at you, even when you regain Baby Mario, untill he runs out. He also seems to die instantly with a fire mellon attack from Yoshi, though oddly no matter how many seeds I spit at him he stays alive. He can only collide with solid ground, he will go through all sprites. He can collect water and fire mellons that don't come from the generator, but he won't know he has one unless it's from it. He also has no appeal for Ice Mellons sadly.The next sprite is 1B9, which is the same as 1B7 but player controlled. He can be interestingly used due to his ability to shoot seeds and fire, which do indeed hurt more then Yoshi. If anyone has any more discoveries for YI sprites, post them here. EDIT: Oh yeah, and the sprite can jump as high as a normal Yoshi jump, sans the hovering. Ice mellons have no effect on him if used against him. (edited by Someguy on 09-08-04 02:00 PM) |

| I think they were going to make it Waruigi, l upside down being a lower case r, but there's that l r sound the same in japan problem, so they changed it, or it was changed in transration.
