This is an idea that I have had for an extremely long time now, so I think with some news I received yesterday, I shall create this "Anime News" Thread. This is a thread where I shall list announcements that pertain to anime, manga, etc. Keep checking this thread for new updates!  6/8/2004 It's official, 4Kids has licensed the One Piece anime, only three days after licensing the Tokyo Mew Mew anime. The anime will air on the FoxBox like the rest of the anime licensed by 4Kids. Further Reading My Two Cents I personally think that with 4Kids licensing One Piece, the series won't fly. I hate 4Kids and how they deal with anime in America. Just look at their work on Shaman King, Yugi Oh, and Pokemon! Ironically, the One Piece opening is playing right now! 6/10/2004 A new Galaxy Express 999 anime will be released in Japan soon on SKY Perfect TV entitled Uchuu Koukyoushi Maetel ~Ginga Tetsudo 999 Gaiden~. The series will take place two years after the events of Maetel Legend. The anime will also feature a young Captain Harlock. News of 4Kids' takeover of One Piece hits International News! I really cannot wait until this airs, because I am sooo downloading it! 6/21/2004 4Chan, the largely popular anime image hosting site, has been shut down. It has been said that part of the reason for 4Chan's closing is due to the popularity it had. On other news : Dragonball Most Popular Search Ever at Lycos? As you can see, all the animation is new. *excited*  By the way, the Gundam F91 section is online at GundamOfficial.com. 7/27/04 The last episodes(double episode)-- 166 and 167 of Inu Yasha has been announced and shall air on TV in Japan on September 6th. | I have played and beaten all five of them. Although, I would say that it would behoove you to download mame32 and some other versions(Mame32k) so you can play Metal Slugs 1-5. Also, to find the right ones, it would be best to search using eMule. | |||

| Oh yea... I almost forgot about SWG. I have heard that you can actually buy land and create cities and stuff on it. The game sounds very expansive, yet I've also heard of many glitches in the game. So I'm basically wondering if I want a game like that or one that has a lot of character customization. How's the battle system in SWG anyways? About COH, what's boring about it? | 3 is great, I played it many times over on my Mame. 4 is even better, but there is a bit that it lacks. 5 is somewhere in between 3 and 4 in terms of excellence; I can't exactly put my finger on it... It seems a bit EASIER than the rest of the Metal Slug games. | |||

| In IRC channels, most of the people just leave their programs running, so there's not really anyone active there. I've found myself in that situation more than once. BT may take a long time with some anime(ZZ Gundam), but it's less risky. | |||

| My friend is trying to convince me to play FFXI with him.. I dunno guys.. He says that we can play 2 hours a night, and the game is cheaper than CoH. Also, I wouldn't have to worry about going solo, because I'd be in a party from the start. So, Legion, I can't customize the controls even on the PC? That kinda sucks.. The leveling part doesn't seem SO bad. I mean, I don't care much about leveling either way. | |||

| I've recently been informed about the various aspects of being in a party. And it seems that it would take a long time before I could be in a party with my friend. He's a level 38 BLM. And it would take me too much time to gain that many levels or anywhere near there. So right now I am choosing between WoW and CoH. I don't know too much about the battling in WoW though. I've also heard that in CoH, after gaining a level, you don't notice much of a difference. WoW's environment looks a lot more fantastical and thus more enticing, and I could also play it like 2 hours a day... Legion, are you, by chance, beta testing WoW? |

| I really don't think it is necessary to read the Naruto manga. And its for the same reasons that I am not really reading One Piece.. Because the manga and the anime are very close together. There aren't many differences between the two. | |||
