| I plan on taking my college classes online, and that's mainly because I'm in the Army and I can't really get out and go into the classroom. Most likely I'll enroll in Maryland something or other. I think my Medical course I had to take for my job training counted as 20 something college credits. |

| I remember a long time ago, shortly after September 11th, people in America said "Bush declare war tommorrow!" or something to that effect. I coulda swore I saw the signs. Now, we just finished overthrowing a dictator, and people said "Bush, what in the world are you doing?!?!1/oneslash". Kerry has voted against armaments for the military, and one issue in particular that pretty much sealed his fate for my vote was he when voted NO to body armor for troops. Those are my friends... my battle buddies out there. Some of them I went to school with, some of them I trained with. Now, as far as I know, they all came back alive... one even got the pretigous Combat Field Medic Badge. I was proud. Out of everyone in my class of 400 that I went to train with, only 2 didn't go to Iraq. I'm one of them. I believe what Bush is doing is the right thing. No, we aren't over there stealing oil, for those of you niave enough to believe that. We are protecting a now growing NEW NATION. Let's say we give some of you what you want, and pull out right now. That country would once again be controlled, not by a dictator this time, who almost plays by the rules, but by a TERRORIST organization known as the Al Qaeda. I'm a Combat Medic for the U.S. Army. Even if Bush is sending us out to fight, I still support him and I am going to vote for him to get re-elected 2004. |

| Comrade Leejnikov- Last resort, not neccisarily. Do I want to go to war? Are you crazy? Do you think I would enjoy going out of my way to go in 130+ degrees, without the comforts of home that most take for granted? No way. I don't want to risk my life just for the sake of doing it. And if the reports I read in my hood.mil email account is correct (and it is), it IS the Al Queda we are fighting in Iraq, along with this new Militia group we are currently locking down in the town of Nejaf, was it? Not sure exactly. Do I support blindly? No, not at all. I'm not going to support someone who wants to degrade the power of our military. |

| Apple- Do you know who is cutting off the heads of random people they pick up off the streets? Al Qaeda. They are even bragging about it. I don't watch the same thing you watch; public TV, CNN, etc. In fact, my TV doesn't even pick up any channels, so I RARELY watch TV. What I see are reports; not only reports, but veterans who share their tales (granted, some are probably stretched a bit). Am I blinded by media propanganda? No, not at all. Then again, you might fall back on Military propanganda to keep us being good whipping boys. Not only do I hear the good that we do, I also hear about the bad. I know some stories of soldiers who killed innocent civilians, and other nasty things that the media isn't going to tell you about. I'm not accusing, but it almost seems you are trying to justify the terrorism. Almost. I'll recall that in the 80's, we armed Afganistan against the Soviet Union, and we also equiped Iraq when they were in danger of being invaded. |
