It's taken me a while but I've finally figured out how to insert ExGFX into the rom... only problem is that the exgfx I put in look really distorted. What has happened and how do i fix it?

Just tried it but the graphics are still completely garbled. Here's a screen of what they look like (after following cpu's steps):

actually, that was supposed to be the same time drive from the last episode of series six, but it was never explained why it could suddenly be used as a time drive

Series six:
*Time drive used so the crew are in the year 1421*
Rimmer: so we're still 3 million years in deep space
Kryten: Yes sir, but now we're 3 million years in deep space in the fifteenth century. Isn't it wonderful?

Series seven:
*after they refound the time drive, no explination of it*
Lister: Okay we want the taj mahal restaurant in london 1999

There was no explination about how the time drive could now be used as a hyperspace drive aswell

I once found a way of walking off the dam in timesplitters 2. It was really cool except for two things:
1) You can't get back up to complete the level
2) I've forgotten how to do it

This reminds me of something I saw in the UK Nintendo Mag. Some guy lost his GBA, he found it in his garden about a week later. It had been rained, snowed and was caught in a drought. He put in new batteries and it was still working perfectly. Goes to show Nintendo hardware is the most durable

Also I got my DS as soon as it came out over in the UK and mine came with one dead pixel. Plus it has gone now. Either that or i just haven't seen it while playing

bear in mind that when they did go back in series seven they changed the timeline so starbug never existed, there was a nuclear base or someting too near to the town and everyone fled. If they DID go back they would probably screw up time so Lister never actually joined up with Red Dwarf, never ctually found the time drive and diod all his adventure and stuff

I'm currently making some ExGFX but there is a couple of things that baffle me. How do I make the map16 files and how do I set a certain block to act as a single coin block etc?

You have to open a map16 page, and left click on a tile, then edit it's attributes(it's 8x8 GFX), then press okay, and right click on any tile in the Map16 Page to paste the tile to that place.

find the coin in the map16 page, and get it's hex location, i think the coin is 1D or somethin like that. then open another tile, and edit its attributes. then you'll see ''make block act like'' and enter the coins map16 number.


erm... how do I do that stuff? I am a bit of a newb hacker still
