I've been itching to make a custom character for quite awhile. Yo, just wait till all the Schala freaks hear this At least the "assembly" is easy, and gives place for a lot of interesting stuff. Good job |

"Dormento" means a sleepy and dumb person in portuguese, and my head seems to attract several types of sharp objects...so there | |||

Crap, i had written like 150+ pages of praises and acmlm says i'm not logged on! GRR! The sprites are very nice and detailed, did you drew them yourself? I remember i fiddled with a gg code that displayed a 9 boxes char. selection screen instead of the norm...maybe there were more characters planned, but they were cut early in development. If there's such a thing as "free space", would you just add the new Schala's sprites? or Would the game require you to overwrite one of the existing ones? |

....wow, thats clever, two blank spaces to make two...blank...spaces.... heh Very clever now that you mention it... It makes sense. And about the soldier, he donesn't even have all of the required frames, although the game shoudn't crash because of that (it should just draw ugly squares, or nothing cause of the transparency). And what about Techs, is there any free space at all? I have no experience with expansion, but i heard from a pro that expanding Snes roms is much easier than expanding Nes ones. |

yo Disch, SlickNES all the way Seriously, NNNesterJ and FCEUd are my favorites, nnnj cause of the memory viewer, and FCEUd cause of the debugger. |

Indeed. I feel we are coming to the golden age. Maybe we should start a complete dissassembly project? A library of complete genuine 6502 software. |

Thx Gavin, i already knew about glow, but by library i meant a complete disassemble of most (if not all ) classic nes games. Imagine what would DD be capacle of if he had in his posession a complete working disassemble of smb3... Several classics have been disassemnbled already (smb1, ff, castlevania)... it would be just too cool to have it all. (Of course it would have to have a "comment/documentation project", to make all of the routines understandable - like which part of the code does what - and compiler specific tweaks to get it working right). |

Thumbs up for a fantastic idea mr Hawk dude. Will you still work in the nes FF1 hack? I mean, now that the GBA ff's will have most of the original hack's features (mp based system, new items etc) will you still work and support the nes version? I think a genesis version of FF1 woud rock. The genesis is capable of some neat video effects. Imagine blasting those darned imps with Origin's fire3 Btw, do you intend in using the origins/wsc/gba graphics or do something different for a change? I mean, there's enough remakes as it is, i would like to help to make this one more "original". Good job so far. Got any more screenies (of the Nes one) to show us? |
