Catch 22

if you combine jazz and punk, you get Catch 22. They're my favorite band, but I dunno what that means, if anything.

No, if you combine generic pop punk with generic pop ska, you get Catch22.

It's....not a comparison.

AC/DC is like a pillar of rock. They've put out amazing albums, and proved they can produce multiple albums, where as Rammstein is relatively young compared to them.

Do you even call Rammstein rock? I've listened to a little, but I'm not sure on the comparison.

what's funny about this, is that I have heard all of 1 suburban legends song, and 0 Steve Ferris songs.

and what else is funny, and I apologize Chibi for interuppting your perfectly fine thread, is that in two threads you have yet to actually give a reason as to why I cannot like Catch 22, other than them being "pop-ska."

The term pop-ska is like an oxymoron, because ska isn't popular in the least bit.

Whatever, Mr-I'm-A-Ska-Leetest. You can make false claims without backing them up, and I'll just go ahead ignoring you until I feel the urge to punch someone, like now, and at which point I'll reply to your useless posts.


Anyways, a different band I'd reccommend is The Streets. I'm not sure if you'd label it hip-hop, or rap, but that's what I call it. But believe me, it's not like "yo man I was walkin wit mah gat blast caps" type rap.

Hmm. I had an idea actually, and I'm wondering what people think.

I wrote a 4 page short story for english class, entitled Diaries of a Little League Superstar, and I liked the title the best, but that's ok.

It's modeled after my experiences as an umpire, coaching in the Babe Ruth Little League of Coventry, RI.


I can't remember if I posted it, so if anyone wants to tell me if it's decent or just a nugget...

I mean, I have that on paper, obviously, but I'm just going to take ideas from that, and implement then, ergo, the characters for the most part will be there, the title, but I intened to re-write everything to do with the plot.
