| All Hunter can do is stare. And amazingly, with each miss, Hunter suffers damage! He falls to a kneel as the song comes to a close... "FANCY!!" And the XBox lands... perfectly on Tom's foe. "KIAYAHHHHHHHhhhhh...." Like glass, Hunter's body rips open and flies in every direction, thousands of tiny glass-like fragments of Hunter complimenting the plastic shards of the XBox. At the same time, a megaton explosion of white fire engulfs the arena, spreading from Hunter's destroyed body and washing over all. It is not a damaging fire, though, but it's sheer majesty and epicness could send anyone to their knees, crying. It clears, and Hunter is still in one piece, kneeling from where he was seemingly destroyed. A black crater is surrounding him on the floor where the Box landed. The strange thing now about Hunter is that his clothes are a slightly different color. "You broke me, Tom... How could you?" Pause. "Ah, but don't sweat it. I asked for somethin' fancy, didn't I?" His voice is no longer demonic. "That said, I'm sorry to say you have won this battle. For my being here right now is technically godmodding, because the rules of physics say I can't exist in this Plane without my outer layer intact. If I don't leave in 60 seconds, I WILL die. The air is corrosive to my core. You have 60 seconds to say any last words you have to tell me in person, and I'm outta here. Nice battle, though." He doesn't offer a handshake, and for a good reason. Should he touch ANYthing, he will die, now that his "true form" is in the open. OOC: Pleeeeease tell me in a PM how to make a Midi play when you open the page! I want that for my new and improved Homepage coming soon! |

| Hunter's body begins to crackle with dark electricity. 30 seconds. "Gain? Well... Actually, Tom, you kinda disappointed me in that aspect. All I wanted was to get out there and do what my creations were doing for once, because my life is stressful and sometimes the only time I feel happy is when I'm living in my own world." 20 seconds. "But I didn't get that feeling, and I never will... It's hard, but I must accept that the fantasy world is it's own place, and in a way dangerous... I mean, look at the effect it had on me? I always find myself escaping from reality... But I gained something else instead. This battle sat directly on the boundary between fantasy and reality, because it was both. Yeah, it was just writing, but we treated it like reality too..." 10 seconds. Hunter's body begins flickering. "I feel more free now. It's hard to explain why, but this battle helped. Now I gotta go, like fast... When you see my character Schwa, remember this battle. G'bye." With 3 seconds to spare, Hunter's body encases itself in Autistic energy and vanishes back into reality. It would be sad leaving this arena, but hey, there's always PMs and OOCs... |

| Yiusi looks over at Janus. "I sense things. It's weird." She holds up the cream sphere of gel called the Yiusi Ball. "My Yiusi Ball and I have a spirit bond... the Ball is sentinent, and it kinda 'senses' the way to go... it's hard to explain. So when it senses which way to go, thanks to our bond, I feel it in my body and I head in that direction. Today the ball was screaming to go to a city called, er... Sandsalot, I believe it was, and so I tried the Stardust Speedway to get there fast. I was supposed to leave a long time ago, but I had stuff in this city to do first." There is silence. "What about you, though? Are you human or not? What do you know about Schwa? Where'd you come from, where are ya going? Those are a few starter questions for you..." Yiusi stares at the city as she speaks. |

| DAMN!!! You guys rock! Both of you! You both fought very skillfully, but I'd have to say Jarukoth wins this match by 3 miles. Legault, though you were skilled in battle, you didn't put enough of the Creative Spin on it like J did, adding a mini-plot to the frey... J, ohmyGod, the plot twist is AWESOME!! I hope this plays a vital part in the Story Forum RP you're hosting... You get my vote for sheer creativity, and I highly look forward to what happens with J and Ada next. Rock on, guys! Now, for something that has NOTHING to do with the battle... It's been a while since Jarukoth and I had a battle, and J, if you're up for it I'd gladly take you on sometime soon. Whaddya say, pal? |

| Yeah... Metal pretty much blew it from the beginning of the second half of the fight. He pretty much godmodded, with all those combos and counterattacks... Kirbynite was more of a sensible fighter in this case, so he gets my vote. Good going, Kirby. BTW, Kirby, sometime I would like to have a 1 on 1 match against you. |

| Great fight, both of you. You both had marvelous skill in this fight, but as you both know I judge more on creativity than on skill... and Grey's writing here was, so far, the second best work I have seen in this Forum. (The First would be Grey vs. Jarukoth.) So Grey would have to get my vote, for the 4th out of 5th time. But Sion, you still did well. Your style has improved dramatically from when I first knew you. Keep it up, both of you. P.S. The dance at the end was cool too, but I hate Michael Jackson because I can't tell if he's a guy or a girl half the time.  |

| "Ahm..." Yiusi pauses, thoughtful, then stands up. "Sandsalot can wait. I'd like to ask you of something first, based on what you've said to me about Schwa..." She lets go of the Yiusi Ball, and it floats in front of her, giving off a mystical, cream-colored glow. "You seem like a good friend to Schwa. You value his morales and your own, and your insight amazes me. Now Schwa's taught me quite a bit himself, back when our souls were in the Etheral Dimmension together... The differences between him and you is that, one, he is definitely dead-set on his role as a Psi Warrior. That's good. You, though, don't quite have any one goal in mind... but that's also good. You've given yourself time to think more, whereas Schwa doesn't think as much; he feels whatever he's doing to the extent of almost achieving unity with his surroundings and friends, a good skill... but what happens when the battle is over? Emptiness. I bet you've never seen that as a disadvantage. "The friend of Schwa is my friend, plain and simple. Plus you saved my life, so I owe you one. My request is this: Just like you did with Schwa that one night a long time ago, do that with me. I want to battle you. We can learn more about each-other that way, and I have a feeling that you may even learn something about Schwa at the same time." "Interesting! It seems to be searching out Bel's weak spot for an uber-attack, similar to Sky Attack in the Pokemon series... Maybe that's what it IS... "Finished charging! Lure it close and it's mine!" Yiusi closes her eyes for a moment, sensing Janus's presence jet behind her... and at the last second, crouches, as the hovering Yiusi Ball automatically slams into the hammer's path, stopping the attack and releasing a weak shockwave of Oracle Energy into Janus. The energy blast shouldn't do very much damage, but if it hits... some of Janus's life data will be read by the ball... Yiusi now turns around. "Les'see... My favorite color would be golden-yellow, same color as my Guardian." The ball flies and returns to her hand. "Sorry, Janus! I couldn't tell if you were serious about battling or not. I have a difficult time controlling the force of my attacks." Yisui makes a mental note to try and control it better if necessary, for that would be a vital skill no matter what kind of fighter you are... |

| OOC: Presenting the very first Team Gemini oriented RP of all... Cosmic Chaos! Rules are to use common sense, only join if you're serious about continuing (I don't want this to die like Riddle of the Chao), and don't try and twist the plot under your control. I have a great, serious plot set in stone this time. I'll be PMing the best of the best to join my RP, but ANYONE can join if they want. With that said... here we go! (P.S. You might want to check out Team Gemini's profile if you're not familiar with them. A direct link is found in my signature.) "Ah! ...She's coming. .... ....She is very close by. At long last... Muhuhuhuhu... HuhuhahahaHAHAHA!" The long, sinister laugh of Zuel echoes throughout the small, miniature time-space rift he is contained in... Two figures stare hopefully and solemnly into space, still trapped in their shackles of warped energy... Zuel's day seems to be finally here... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Here comes! Gemini Crush!!" The figures of two small kids high up in the air are replaced with a huge, image-burning white light, in the form of a gigantic beam that rockets down to earth... The beam slams Junxu's Cave Troll dead-on, as it roars, dies, and (being a summoned creature) dissolves. Korra and Ami fall back to earth at a kneel, seemingly not tired a bit, staring at the helpless Junxu... Their foe seems to have used up every last bit of his mana, and is now at their mercy. Korra runs in and delivers a flying kick, and Ami fires a beam out of the crystal on her helmet to add to the attack. The combined attack KO's Junxo, and the crowd around them cheers. "See? We mean business. But we gotta go... we'll visit back someday. We ARE peacekeepers, after all." Ami forms an invisible, telekinetic bubble around herself and Korra, as they take off into space... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - They have been flying along for an hour through the endless black void of outer space, when... "!!" "Ami! What?" Ami had suddenly come to a complete stop, and looks very alert. She suddenly faces one direction intently. Korra is confused. "Ami! Speak to me!" "I am here..." "Huh? ...Ami, you're crying!" Suddenly, Ami takes off faster than ever before toward the direction she's facing. Korra is now a little scared. "Amiiiiiiii!!! (Where's she going? There's no planets over here...)" Moments later, Korra feels an evil force jolt through him. He immediately gorws wary. "Oh God... That feeling... It's so familiar! But how?" Ami doesn't seem to feel a thing, as she is blinded by some force radiating from an area in space. Soon, the feeling in Korra grows stronger... "Ami, turn us around!" "I am here! I am here!" She doesn't turn around. She keeps flying... Suddenly, a huge flash of light envelops them both for a split second, and they find themselves still in space, but the scenery looks distorted and wavy... Hovering before them appears to be an android, one that somewhat resembles both a robot and gel... And behind him are two figures, but Korra can't make them out. Ami, though, rockets toward the figures, as they turn to look at Ami. Korra can now see them clearly. "OhmyGod! Those two look almost just like--" He never gets to finish his thought. One blast of dark energy from the gel-android thing knocks him backward, as Ami keeps flying forward, then the creature laughs as it grabs Ami by the waist with one hand. The little girl suddenly starts screaming. "I AM HERE!! I AM HERE!!" "You are nowhere," the bot says, as invisible shackles of distorted time-space wrap around her limbs, binding her in midair close to the two figures. Korra floats himself back upright and stares hostily at the creature. "Who are you?" "I am Zuel. You have no business meddling here. Begone!" Zuel begins to charge energy to finish off Korra in one blow, as he has the power to... but one of the figures near Ami shouts, "Ami, Saria, NOW!!" "Right!" "Yes!" Out of the crystal in each figure's helmet fires a constant beam at Korra that envelops him... The beams go out just as Zuel fires his attack. A shattering sound is heard as four shards of *something* fly in all directions, and out of the rift... Korra is gone. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - On a familiar planet below, a Psi Warrior and a Cosmic Warrior go at it. "Kaz! I totally got'cher fighting style now! Beta Psibeam!" "Try this, Psi Warrior..." Schwa fires his charged attack at Kaz, who thrusts out of the way with his afterburners and rocket-tackles Schwa, beginning a combo. The combo can never be finished, though, when Schwa's *homing* attack turns around and slams into Kaz, sending him to a kneel. Both Kaz and Schwa are very tired now... "I can fight like this for hours! How fun!" "Fun? You don't know 'fun', kid. There is no such thing." "Lighten up!" "!! ....Schwa, you're lucky. I'm outta here." He starts to take off. "Kaz, wait! I can heal you!" "No! Get away from here!" Kaz takes off, and is gone. Confused, Schwa thinks for a while at what to do, when he senses a GREAT energy in the northern mountains... It can only be one thing... "A meteor? No way... But it's gotta be! I KNOW it's an alien meteor!" He contacts Sensae. "Sensae, Schwa here. This may sound crazy, but there is an alien meteor nearby! What do I do?" "Do whatever feels right." "Gah, I hate it when he talks like that..." Schwa thinks. So he does 'what he feels is right', and telepathically contacts some friends of his... Some of them should already know this is happening, as an alien meteor gives off such a peculiar energy type, it's almost impossible not to detect it at some point or another. |

It's clear that Janus likes her, but he hopes he won't abuse the Satchel by "fulfilling her desires" or any of that... But even Janus should already be wise in that aspect. | To Bloyburt: Your vote has been processed... but to everyone else, since the battle begins NOW, there is no need to re-post the vote status, since he didn't bet anything! By the way, this battle is in no way meant to sound racist. The way it sounds is a bit weird, so I'm just warning you, it was sort of an accident. Nobody take this the wrong way. Also, this is a VERY long battle, so brace yourselves.... With that said, heeeeeere we go! SIZZLE… Doug and Jerry turn. "Wubbles! Not cool! Get off that magma crater!" "Pip-pip." Wubbles scurries back over to his two masters. Apparently Doug and Jerry, two special Snifits on a mission, didn't approve of their only genetically engineered success (which happens to be a Barney Bubble of all things), a highly combustable creature at that, resting on his back in the middle of a recently smoldering crater. They were smart to look back and check on him, although Wubbles DID seem to be enjoying himself... itself... What's "special" about Doug and Jerry is that they are not your typical garden Snifit... and it's not just because they're dressed in green. These two Mario-verse scientists both have in common a DNA defect of an intersting composure, a mutation if you will, said to be caused by exposure to mushroom spores before birth. After running numerous tests on themselves as well as having others test them, they have concluded that the mutation has caused them to contain Snifit AND plant DNA. The side effect is that they have the ability to control nature, to an extent, and their ability to fire seeds instead of bullets is pretty useful too. Because of the mutation, Doug and Jerry are utterly fascinated in anything that has to do with natural science, and that is now their profession. Today they're out to study volcanic activity and collect ash to later be analyzed in the lab. And THAT... is why there was even a smoldering crater nearby in the first place. It's been an hour of walking and the three of them, Doug, Jerry and their "Barney Bubble Labo" named Wubbles, are getting very tired... but they're almost there. 3 minutes later, their destination has been reached; the ash that surrounds them now can't be any fresher and cleaner (if "clean" is a word to describe volcanic ash). This is the closest one can possibly get to the summit before it gets dangerous. "Yee-haw! We're there! *whew* We made it!" "Right... we did... ugh..." "Check on Wubbles, would ya?" "Sure thing... " *TWEEET!* "Pip-pip!" Wubbles scurries over. "Aw, Wubbles isn't even tired, aren'tcha Wubbie? Wudjie wudjie..." Jerry rubs Wubbles's body hard. It's like a dog in that aspect, it likes rubs. However, unlike a dog, if you rub it the wrong way it explodes. "JERRY! How many times have I told you--" "Right! Okay! Sheesh! Sorry, wudjie..." "Pip-pip!" They continue to rest, and about 10 minutes later, Doug, who seems to be in charge of this operation, blows the work whistle again (figure of speech). "Okay! Time to get to work!" "Gotcha. C'mon, Wubbles." "Pip-PIP!" Suddenly... "Ahm, NO." "Wha--?" "Whozat?" "Puu..." Dark and light energy begins to form in the ground about 23 feet away for no apparent reason. This fascinates Jerry. "WHOA! It's some kind of energy vortex! Let me get closer." "Gah! Stay back, that's not science!" He grabs Jerry and yanks him back. "Eeyah! Hey, I wanted to-- Waitwaitwait, 'Not Science'?" "Watch." The vortex suddenly splits into three small ones, two blackish-purple and one silver. Immediately after, three figures rise out of them, and they close. They're Magikoopas! One is normal, and probably the deadliest of all, one is white and specializing in Holy magic, and the 3rd is black and skilled in Black magic. The normal and white ones look a little, uh... frail... however... "Magikoopas!" Jerry exclaimes. "Nice to meetcha! ...Or are you Bowser's troops? ...." The Black Magikoopa starts up. "Yeah, we're Bowser's homies, and we're gonna kick yo' asses all right!" Something about the way he said this REALLY gets on the White Koopa's nerves. "Ugh... will you STOP using that word! Please!" "Shaddap, Grandpa! Do your job! Ya don't see Blueboy over 'dere complainin'!" Both White and Normal get scowels on their faces... really scary ones. "Don't you ever call me Grandpa, grasshopper!" (Normal)"You have a lot to learn. Be wise and observe, like I." (Black)"Oh yeah, you look REEEEEEAL wise, Blueboy." (Normal)"Ugh... How much longer do we put up with this, Lord Bowser?" (White)"I agree... and my back is just KILLING me... After we knockout these intruders, Normal, would you mind giving me a back massage?" (Normal)"Hohohoho... My my, you ARE getting old. Why wait? Here, let me just adjust your back really quick..." (Black)*rolls eyes* "Dude! Dis ain't da 'hood, yo! Dis is the real get-yo-three-fiddy-jacked-today world! I mean, like, we don't have TIME for dis, man! Les' just open up a can of whupass on them punks like that, POW!" (White)"That's it! DEMON, BEGONE!!" White throws an arcane blast of light into the Black Magikoopa, and he falls to the ground, dazed but unharmed. (Black)"That was unnecessary. I was just performing." (Normal) *still giving a massage to White* "We know. Now you won't." The whole time, Doug, Jerry and Wubbles are staring at this peculiar trio like they're crazy. Then, Jerry speaks. "Did you say you were going to 'whup' us?" (Black)"You betcha! 'Sides, you're on our property." (Jerry)"What!? This whole bloddy volcano is public access!" (Black)"Not according to Bowser." (Jerry)"GRRR..." Doug holds his comrade back. "Jerry, cool it... We'll just leave..." "No, we won't! Engage BATTLE TACTICS!!" "???!!!" Jerry does a huge backflip as a gust of wind whips up and encircles him in midair, spinning him around in a cool effect of aero energy. Secretly, while spinning, Jerry presses a button on a hidden remote control, and a 3D wireframe of a familiar object begins to appear below him, which phases solid and becomes an Autobomb as Jerry lands on it, ready to rumble. "JERRY! I told you not to bring that!" "So?" "Grr... Fine, I've wanted to fight for a while as well." *TOW-WEEEEEEEEEEEEE...* Doug blows a high-pitched whistle, and like lightning an Ostro scurries to the scene. Doug, too, backflips, and lands on his "vehicle" which is actually a bird. Wubbles, which was sleeping for a while, wakes up and takes an offensive stance. (White)"Aahh that was a grand massage! I feel young again!" (Black)"Just don't let your disease show too much, old man." (White)"Disease?" (Black)"Geezer-idis." (White)"WHA--!! Rrgh, whippersnapper, you're askin' for it..." (Normal)"Let's begin the fight. Here comes! Tri Attack!" Normal whips out a wand and waves it in a triangle motion, as three energy bolts corkscrew out towards Doug and his Ostro-- fire, thunder and ice. At the same time, White and Black whip out wands of their own and begin to charge up energy. Doug easily dodges the triple projectile as Ostro steps to the right. "Ha! You can't hit us! We're one!" Jerry looks confused. "'We're one'? What does THAT mean?" "Part of being half-plant is understanding your connection to nature. You won't understand for a while, though. You're too young." "Hey, if it's about that Ostro, I think it's cool but I like the Autobomb WAY better. It's cool!" Jerry taps the back of his vehicle with his foot, as it suddenly rips it's way toward the three Magikoopas, squirting hot fire in every direction. At the same time, Wubbles fills himself with air and exhales it, as a large orange bubble of SOMEthing squirts out of his mouth and slowly floats toward the Magikoopas. Normal, being the only Magikoopa ready to counter an attack (since the other two are charging), creates an ice shield around himself to block the fire. That doesn't stop the Autobomb from slamming full-force into it, breaking the shield and sending all 3 items flying, Normal, Jerry and Autombomb. Jerry lands 10 feet away, and Black releases his charged up energy into the form of a powerful black sphere of dark energy, firing it at Jerry. There's no way for him to dodge, since he's face-down, and he is slammed for high damage. Jerry lands 30 feet away, hurting. "Damn, Jerry! 10 seconds and you've already taken two good hits!" "Ugh..." (Black)"Heheh! Watch as I absorb the electric energy of your vehicle for a powerful attack!" (Jerry)"Noooooo!!" Meanwhile, White uses his charged energy to heal Normal back to full health. Black glides over to the grounded vehicle, and waves his wand, preparing to suck up all the Autobomb's electricity... (Normal)"Black, you might want to look up." (Black)"Wha? ...!!!?!??!!" This is the part when he sees a big orange balloon inches in front of his face. POP! KA-BLAMMO!!! (all 3)"Waaaaugh!" A heavy explosion of radioactive fire engulfs Black, White (who's close by) and the Autombomb, damaging them all. Jerry now has a chance to dash to where it cleared and claim his vehicle back. Problem: Black is ready to stop him by casting a fire spell into him. Solution: Doug leaps off the Ostro and presses against the ground, sending a spiked wooden column piercing out of the ground right beneath Black. "Wood Tower!" "Gah!" *OOF* That sends Black out of the way, with lower health than he would like... hey, he's been hit with an explosion AND a spiked wooden tower right in a row. Jerry uprights his vehicle and gets back aboard. "Alright! BURN BABY BURN!!" Jerry charges at the three Magikoopas, spewing fire from his vehicle in every which way. The three of them scatter. (White)"Get over here, allies, so I can heal you!" (Doug)"Eep! Don't let him!" (Jerry)"I can't turn this thing very well, it's been damaged!" The Magikoopas gather together again as White begins to heal them. (Doug)"Rrgh! SecretPotion!" POOF! Doug throws a blue vial on himself, and he and the Ostro vanish... reappearing right next to the gang. "??" "??" "Hello boys..." Doug lets them have it by firing a spiked nut out of his mouth, right into the White Magikoopa, stopping his healing spell short. "Argh! Kids these days have no respect for the elderly... Come 'ere!" The Ostro leaps backward as Doug concentrates, sending a razor-sharp wind into White. He hides in his cloak to protect himself slightly, until Black throws a thunder-shield over him to protect him, and Normal blasts him with a standard magic blast, an attack that does good damage if it connects... and it does, because Doug doesn't expect such an effective counter to his wind attack. Doug flies backward and White prepares to further heal his comrades... when another one of Wubbles's super-slow projectiles makes it to the Magikoopas, blowing them up again. Black falls to minimal vitality, Normal and White fall to medium-low. "Take care of the Barney!" White calls as Normal engages it. White starts healing Black at a slow rate, but by now Jerry (who has ditched his failing-to-turn damaged vehicle) has ran back to the main battle and attacks White from behind with a spiked nut! The nut, flying straight and true, breaks the thunder shield in one piercing blow and nails White on the left shoulder. Black immediately casts another spell over White, one that makes him transparent for a while or until he attacks. Now nothing can hurt him. "Wood Tower!" Jerry tries another Wood Tower on Black, but Black steps back and calls, "Screw Flare!" Out of his wand flies a spiraling column of fire that traveels horizontally, igniting the Wood Tower that missed, plowing through it and slamming into Jerry. Jerry is now also at minimal vitality. (White)"Now?" (Black)"Not yet, Gramps! I'll finish off the weasel first, otherwise he'll attack you!" (White)"Stop calling me Gramps!" *mutters under breath* Wubbles and Normal are having a square off. Wubbles is ONE FAST SONOFAGUN, to put it simply, and he keeps scurring away from Normal's arcane blast attacks. Eventually Normal tires out, apparently from a mana shortage, and that's when Wubbles makes his move. He scurries close and circles Normal, surrounding him in a flurry of little green bubbles from every angle. The bubbles all pop against him, and Normal begins to feel VERY uneasy... White senses it. "Normal! You're poisoned! Hell, that looks like a Level 8 toxin! Where the Hell did these Snifits get Bio-Weapons, anyhow? That's it, I'm healing you!" (Normal)*cough* "NO!" White runs over and casts a curing spell, healing his poison status. Immediately he turns solid again. Then... "Wood Tower!!" Jerry makes his move, slamming White from underground and KOing him. Immediately Black fires a Fire Ring into Jerry, KOing him too. It's now 2 on 2. "Got 'im... Where's Doug?" "Right 'ere, pal. Wubbles, catch!" "Huh?" Doug, at slightly low health, throws Wubbles the Volt Shroom. Wubbles, who hasn't taken a single hit yet, grabs the Shroom as a thunder shield surrounds him. Then Wubbles uses his ultimate combo/ability... He spits five blue bubbles, chained to his body by strings of lightning, and he begins swinging them in all directions like a crazy morningstar. At the same time, he dashes over to Black to try and lethally ensnare him. "GEEZ! GET AWAY!" Black glides backward and Normal intercepts by firing a magical blast of water at Wubbles. The water and the electricity cause a chemical imbalance in the air around Wubbles... and guess what? There is another explosion, this one made of thunder. It zorches EVERYONE, bringing everyone to minimal vitality in one blow. (Doug)*pant, pant* "I'll finish you off! Shrapnel!" Doug fires another nut at Black, but this one bursts into a bunch of tiny needles upon getting close. Neither Normal nor Black are expecting this, and they take it for full. But it's not enough to finish them off... (Black)"Reversal Blast!" This attack fires a basic magic attack that grows stronger if the attacker is at lower HP. Since Black is at like 2HP out of something like 350, one hit is Game Over for Doug... The attack comes in too fast for the Wood Snifit, and it KO's him so hard he's out for a week. At the same time, Wubbles runs in and flurries the area with more green bubbles, and both Normal and Black are poisoned. Black faints immediately, KO'd. Normal, having already been poisoned once, doesn't feel the effects right away... "Come here!" "Pip-PIP!!" Wubbles begins scurrying everywhere. Normal tries blasting it, but it's too fast. One shot... miss. Second shot, Normal falls to his knees from the poison. Third shot, he totally collapses. Wubbles stops running and walks up close to the totally helpless Magikoopa. "I'm... not... done... yet..." And he falls into unconsciousness, KO'd. Nature Power wins. What a horrible way to lose a battle, slowly through poison... Ugh. EPILOUGE: In the following days, Doug and Jerry woke up, still on the volcano. They finished their research and went back to the lab to write a report. Arcane Pain went back to their old lives, playing checkers and talking about the past (Normal and White) and playing video games (Black) as usual. Bowser liked the idea of some Snifit scientists that were half-plant, and eventually bought one of their best-selling books, Doug and Jerry: The Masters of Two Worlds. He also attended one of their speeches and got to meet them in person, and in turn that party ended in a smoldering mess and an intense battle. (Bowser forgot to take his meds the previous day, so he was edgey.) All in all, it was a good experience for both teams who fought today. Let's interview Doug and Jerry. Hello Jerry, how are you today? Tell us about what you thought as you battled. "It was fun! Well, right up until I got KO'd. I liked the Bowser fight better." Ah. "Peardian was at that party, I believe." Aha! Okay, Peardian, let's interview you. To Peardian, what went through your mind as Bowser crashed that party a few days ago? (Listen, pal, you need to answer as creatively as possible. It'll help prepare you for the Tournament, because I won't be the only one doing some creative writing.) *After the interviews are over* Here are the new Coin Results. Remember, the more coins you have, the better off you are in the Tournament. Also, I didn't tell you about this outright, but a few battles ago I mentioned that Battles 8 and 9 are triple coins. It attacks by throwing hammers that lob up before falling on the foe. It can use it's platform to fly in a variety of patterns, and if he concentrates he can throw a 3-way hammer fan-shot attack. (And, of course, he flies.) Amazin' Flying Red Birdo has high HP, medium Attack and Defense, and high Speed (but not as high as Hammer Bro. because she's a n00bie at flying). She can fire eggs and fireballs out of her mouth, and MAYBE a few other things if she tries hard enough, plus she has a vaccuum attack (like in MLSS) and a kiss attack (what it does is unknown). She is inexperienced at flying, and usually follows the same flight pattern as the Hammer Bro. East side: The Burn Boyz -Fire Boo -Fire Chomp The Fire Boo has high HP, above average Attack and Speed, and medium Defense, an overall awesme fighter. It doesn't have any long-range attacks, but it can spray fire in the area in front of it which is a short-ranged attack, but it's strongest attack is bumping into the foe, which causes a burst of heat and ash around the foe. If travelling at high speeds, this attack is even stronger; problem is it's speed decreases if the foe makes eye contact with it, sometimes to the extent that it can't move. The Fire Chomp has very high Attack, medium Speed and Defense, and low HP. It's made of searing-hot metal, so touching it is very painful, and it spits balls of magma when it attacks, however with each shot it's tail grows shorter and this creature gets faster. After four shots, it's tail will be all gone, and from then on it can either get hit by a fire attack which restores the tail, or wait 30 seconds and explode into a megaton explosion of white-hot energy. What to keep in mind: This battle takes place high in the sky. Taccy, a Hammer Bro. police executive, is taking Birdo for some physical training. Birdo is new to the police scene, and she can't fly very well. Soon, two crooks that call themselves the Burn Boyz show up, and they have a classic battle; Justice vs. Crime. No items are in either player's possession, so dodging will be the key to success. Correct bets are worth triple coins. Info about the Teams: The Law isn't really the Hammer Bro's team name. The Hammer Bro is a police executive, one of the best in that academy, and he has recently been given the job of training other police force members, especially n00bies. Birdo is one of those n00bies; she has a lot of potential but can't fly very well, and Taccy is dead-set on training her to be the best. Birdo, on the other hand, thinks this is a game and all she wants to do is either flirt with one of the policemen or playfully fight someone. This could prove to be her downfall. The Burn Boyz are a huge gang that originated in early Rougeport, but eventually broke up into "clans", smaller versions of the gang. They now occasionally get together above Dinosaur Land. These two Burn Boyz have been left behind by the rest of the gang, and these two plan on getting serious revenge sometime soon. Notices: -Next battle is a TOURNAMENT. -Badges will start appearing soon along with items. Badges, like in Paper Mario, have a passive effect on characters, and they are equipped to one character on that team at the beginning of the fight, though you don't know which one until the fight starts. Look for hints... For the Tournament, you will need coins, teamwork skills with other posters, and lots of creativity and imagination. For once, I'm not doing ALL the writing, let's just say that. |

| Yiusi holds her right hand in the air, and the Yiusi Ball begins orbiting around her as Janus pepares his attack... faster and faster, until it's just a cream-colored blur... soon it's so fast, a solid barrier is visible all around Yiusi! The petals all glance off the barrier, and after they're gone the shield fades and the Yiusi Ball comes to a slow stop back in Yiusi's right hand. She looks over at the flowers... "Those? Well..." While observing the flowers, Yiusi secretly points the Ball toward Janus (held low), and the Ball rockets out of her hand to try and slam Janus in the gut, hard. Once again, this shouldn't do a whole lotta damage if it hits, but this attack in particular is enough to knock the wind out of a guy. The ball, hit or miss, then returns to Yiusi's hand. "Now, aren't those weeds? And about the electron thing, I always believed that my shield worked like an electron orbiting an atom... It was fast, no? Maybe you should call it quits..." Yiusi holds the ball up, and it seems to be glowing a little brighter. "I've gotta try out this new trick, but I need a consecutive attack to do it," she thinks. |

OOC: Okay everyone, stay back-- Direct challenge to Zerodius! Normal SB rules apply, but I would appreciate it if you used a fairly stronger character than usual, because the foe you end up fighting is a tough match, moreso even than Schwa. (She doesn't have a Profile of her own, but she IS mentioned in Schwa's.) Be creative too, of course. And have fun.  "Okay, Zraku, spill it." "...Come on, Psi Warrior. Read me like you do with everyone." Schwa doesn't like being challenged. He decides not to play Zraku's little game. "Zraku, you're my Guardian. You must do everything I tell you to." "Oops! Ahm, no, and you're a moron, and go away." "Zraku, chill! I'm going to Crystal Psipalace. Go back to the Etheral Dimmension and rest up." "No, Schwa. Not this time. I'm DONE." "Zraku!!" "And don't call me Zraku anymore. It's Emily now. Just like it was 1000 years ago." The Zraku 'Emily' opens a portal behind her, walks into it, and disappears. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Hmhmhm... I haven't been here in a LONG time. Poor Schwa..." Emily looks around and finds herself in the Neo Universe. The surroundings are kind of eerie, strange, and tense, at the same time. Thick red sand coats the ground, like a wasted desert, and a thin red mist coats the sand, making the place look ghostly. The sky is dark reddish-purple close to the horizon, fading indigo with altitude until it's black if you look straight up. Also straight up, a huge white sphere, which could be considered either the sun or the moon (probably the sun, as it seems to emit heat and light) is visible, standing out in the black sky. There is sand in every diection as far as the eye can see, plus an orange stripe running across the sand (probably the road) and occasionally a rock or some amazing gizmo scattered in a random place. Emily's appearance is just like any other Zraku out there; she is shaped like a sleek fox made of blue fire, with silver glowing eyes usually filled with kindness... her eyes this time, however, are bitter. "This is interesting. Now that I don't need to help Schwa any longer, I can go wherever the hell I want. Starting with this place... Poor Schwa will NEVER get to fight Evil here, for this is a spirit dimmension, just like the Etheral Dimmension! "Aah, I remember when I was on Phase 2 of my eternal life... after my human form died and I became a FreeSoul... I never dreamed I would still be fighting Evil then! I always thought that a FreeSoul's job was similar to mine... but nooooooo! Turns out I get to fight off Evil in the most demonic places of existance-- the Spirit Dimmensions. And now I'm back to Neo Universe, the first place I visited on my first FreeSoul mission... God, this place brings back memories..." Odd. Though Emily has voluntarily gone to one of the most sinister places, she finds herself crying etheral tears in joy and nostalgia. Sometimes, such as times like these, she wishes she were still alive, or even a FreeSoul... And sometimes she wishes she could tell Schwa about what being a FreeSoul is like, or even a Zraku like her... but it's not right to do that. So she plays second fiddle, "helping out" Schwa... but Schwa has pushed it too far this time. After this argument, she's NEVER going back. EVER. She lays down in the sand, emotionally tired... and just thinks to herself. She doesn't suspect anyone to come, at least not soon, but she's in a sinister Spirit Dimmension and it could happen at any time... She's not worried, though. Emily contains power even Schwa could never muster, and should any Evil creature come looking for her, they won't stand a chance. OOC: I chose the scenery with your tastes in mind. And as a reminder, the foe doesn't HAVE to be "evil", but it's your call. |

| OOC: Eek, I said fairly! Ah, that's fine, I asked for it... THIS is the kind of thing I look for when I'm stressed or bored. You're awesome. Emily's eyes widen, then narrow hostily. "A Leigon... Hmhmhm... Schwa wouldn't stand a CHANCE against this thing, that's for sure." Emily seems to quiver in excitement. "Haha! Perfect timing! I needed a real fight, and now it's on! Sensae, watch over this Psi Warrior ancestor. "Leigon, you want a friend? You got a foe! Perish!" Emily focuses, seeming to charge up energy for a small moment, then lets it loose as a white ring flashes around Emily for a split second, and four Holy Missles fire out from the joints of her four limbs. They fly outward at a medium speed, then curve and home in on the four nearest tentacles. Should they hit, they explode into a small, blinding flash of Holy energy, but a direct hit from one of these missles should do above average damage, and a good deal of extra damage if Leigon is considered a demon, undead, or is otherwise weak to Holy. Emily is almost positive Leigon is a demon, though. |

| OOC: Thanks for telling me... I've never played the Castlevania games. "Dang... Here it comes..." Emily leaps to the right to avoid the crushing hand, landing perfectly on her feet. She seems annoyed that her Holy Missiles not even barely dented the foe. "I've fought a Leigon before, but that time I never did any of the attacking... Gotta try everything." Again, she focuses energy, then breathes a huge cone of white ether from her mouth to sweep over the Leigon's body. This attack does both Holy and Psychic damage, and if the Leigon is resistant to Holy then it shouldn't do as much damage as it should have. Emily hasn't figured out that it's resistant yet. The trick is that, though the Leigon is insanely powerful, it is nothing but one big target, while Emily is small and much harder to hit but weaker. |
