The oldest guy I ever IDed for an 18-rated game turned out to be 26. He was really pissed off and swore at me but its my job. I'm the one who gets fined and loses their job if they get caught.

Well I don't know how the US system works, but over here all games have an 'advised' age on them, as a store we don't have to stick with that but we can't really sell 16+ games to a 12 year old, but its not illegal for us to do so. Some games however, like Manhunt and GTA, have BBFC ratings, which are legally binding. If I sold GTA to someone under 18, I could get fined up to

Parents get really really annoyed when I ID their kids though. This kid tried to buy San Andreas off me and I IDed him. His mom came up and started bitching at me. I tell the whole 'I'm just doing my job' thing, she just gives me the money and says 'Whats the big deal, he's nearly sixteen anyway.' Yeah.... but the game's an 18, so I was fucking right.

The number of parents who come in and say 'Oh well he's seen it all before' just boggles me, since I know damn well they're letting their 6/7/8 year old kids play these games.

Where I work, you can be any age to trade in, but you have to be over 16 with proper ID to get cash.

It looked like a good concert, but the TV coverage was shockingly bad, with more time being devoted to two random c-list "celebrites" than any actual music.

Elmo's right. I've been staff on forums before, and I've seen first-hand how stressed Kasumi gets over you lot sometimes, and you couldn't pay me to be staff of anything online ever again. I know I don't post a lot, but I lurk, and I read everything nearly on this forum, and my personal opinion is that whats done is done, nothing drastic has happened, and you should just stop bitching.

From here, it looks like you're whining. Crying over spilt milk. So what do you want to happen now? The way I see it, you can either keep bitching untill we finally get sick of hearing it and ignore you or just shrug, say "Fuck it" and walk away. We're just normal users, we can't do shit so there's no point complaining to us. Surely this is something better solved in private. We don't care who's admin, as long as the work gets done. So what do you want?

Yeah, I mean what do you want to achieve? Some kind of open rebellion? I know, we could take the staff forum by force! OMFG. I don't have any problem with the staff and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

It wasn't just Colleen, Anya and Rain making the decisions, I know Kasumi was there because I got kicked off my bed so she could use my PC just like I know she puts thought into her decisions. And this 'secret list' you're all chewing over. Maybe it was a list.... of STAFF. You know, go into the memberLIST and click on All Staff. That's right, we can all see this "list". There. Is. No. Conspiracy.

Your 'M' rating; is it legally binding or just advised? I know the rating isn't changing in the UK because its illegal for us to sell GTA to someone under 18. I can get jailtime and a criminal record for doing so. Personally, I'm absolutly hopeless with people's ages and I get a lot of abuse from customers who I ask for ID (and then usually end up being in their mid-20s)

To be honest, I find the whole thing very amusing. I haven't seen the hack itself but I have seen pictures in magazines. It's not that bad. Singles (for the PC) has sex scenes better than that FFS. But yet again, more publicity for Rockstar isn't gonna hurt em is it?
