| It is an interesting gadget. I played with one for a little while and I tried Super Mario 64 DS. They're will probably be a "DS" version of every game now; just like they made an "Advance" version of every game with the GameBoy Advance. Anyway, I'll probably buy one sometime in the future. However, I'll wait just in case they release a better version in a few months. | |||

| I'm probably one of the shortest here. I'm 5'1'', and I won't be getting any taller. I could have taken growing hormones when I was younger, but I felt like I should just let my body be as tall as it is, and not cheat my way into being of average height. (edited by Jack-Al on 12-01-04 10:59 PM) |

I only start again on January 24th. I'll be going into my 4th semester of college. So far it seems the only courses I'll have besides 5 computer science courses are Badminton and Video 1.Originally posted by Colleen Can't you get a loan? | The first Acmlm Board I went to has to be this one. There wasn't much choice since it wasn't opened yet and no one else had an Acmlm Board at the time. The first message board I ever went to was FFLegend in 2000, and that's how I found out about Acmlm's board because Acmlm was an administrator there at the time. | I've known about this for quite some time now, and I even got the email from hotmail atleast 5 times. However, not only americans get the additional space, Canadian users get it too. Even though, I don't really care about getting more space on my email because I have never used more than 1mb of my total ammount. It just makes it seem like I'm using less space since instead of being between 30 to 50%, it always appears as 1%. |

| I found that the best way to find a free host is through sites that allow you to search a directory of hosts. For example, www.free-webhosts.com can give some good results some times. I tried searching for hosts with atleast 50mb, PHP and no ads and it found 30 hosts. I'm sure there must atleast be one of those that can be useful. |

| Yes, we all remember, and anyone who doesn't remember or wasn't there will probably be told some time in the future. Anyway, the last time I drank any type of alcoholic beverage was in 6th grade when I drank once or twice out of a glass of wine. Therefore, I have no idea how much it would take for me to receive any type of effect. |

| There no longer exists a good search engine. All they are good for these days are answering questions or giving information. I remember a time when search engines were used to find different types of websites just for the fun of finding websites. Oh well, it's great that yahoo is 10, which means that I have been using the internet for 10 years. However, my feelings for it have changed alot through that time. I wonder what it will be like another 10 years down the road... |

| I really wanted to be a programmer or anything related to computers back when I was in High School, but now that I'm in my second year of Computer Science at College, I don't really feel like doing that anymore. I find programming extremely boring and annoying unless I do it just for fun. I have also been interested in Film Making for the past few years, and I will probably go into Cinema once I finish my DEC in Computer Science. I also plan on Teaching in Computer Science once I'm older, but that's only if I have nothing else to do at the time. |

| I am only fluent in French and English. French is my first language, and I have only known english for about 9 years. I can also speak and read Spanish, but I still have to work on my writing and properly understanding it. If I were to count languages which I only know a few words of then I would have to include Japanese, Cantonese, Italian, German, Russian, Latin and Arabic. |

| Yes, I remember you. I haven't heard of Blitz 3D before. It looks interesting though. The best thing to do when designing any type of game is always to start with the basics. Once the basics are done, the rest can come along quite well. Anyway, good luck on your game. |

| My personality has changed alot since I first came to Acmlm's board, but it wasn't due to Acmlm's board. I was only 14 when I first joined Acmlm's board, and now I'm 19, so I have changed for sure. One of the main things that has changed about me is that I'm sarcastic most of the time now. Before, I would just not say much, so I guess I also talk more than I use to. | |||

| "Ads by Google" is Adsense, and I think that it would be your best option. Unless you get thousands and thousands of views every day, most organisations won't really be paying you alot of money. Another option might be to try and find a sponsor. Instead of making them give you money depending on how many times their add is viewed or clicked, you make them pay an amount up front and then you put their ad on your website for an amount of time which you and the organisation would agree on. However, if your website doesn't get alot of views, then I would suggest starting with Adsense. You can also check some websites about Online Advertising such as: Double Click and Flycast. |
