| Actually... the picture you just posted is, according to my appreciation... 3/10 - VERY ugly. This is one of the 3 sideway pictures I found via Google... and they're all amazingly ugly. As for the site... all of the pictures exept 2 or 3 are just not there (infamous red "x" error). Also... I didn't knew where to post this thread. Since I'm asking about getting a picture, I figured this would be the best forum... but well, if it's not the right forum, then this should definitely be moved. | Mr.Bright: "Hey! He looks exactely like..." Mr.Shine: "Maybe... but there's something amiss..." Mr.Bright: "Whatever! Let's do this!" The two round beings thrown their capes away, revealing their true forms! They looked exactely like miniature versions of the sun and the moon with eyes and limbs. It was hard NOT to recognise them. They were know trought the entire Universe as Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine, the most incompetant of Nightmare's henchmen!... but while they were stupid, their presence was usually a bad omen... a VERY bad omen. Mr.Bright: "HA! We got you!" Mr.Shine: "You are of the Kirby bloodline, aren't you!" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! He must be! Look at him! It just screams "I'm Kirby"!" Mr.Shine: "What? I don't hear anything!" Mr.Bright: "It was a manner of speaking! Anyway... now to execute our boss's orders... err... what were they again?" Mr.Shine: "Errr... I know! We have to force him to... force him to..." Mr.Bright: "I KNOW! Force him to swallow 3000 hotdogs all at once, choking him!" Mr.Shine: "Hey! That's pretty smart! Let's do this! I grab him while you go get the hotdogs!" Mr.Bright: "OK! I grab him while you go get the hotdogs!" The two jumped toward Kirby ATW!... and crashed into each others just in front of Kirby ATW! Mr.Bright: "Ooow... he's strong!" Mr.Shine: "Oow... I would even say more than that! He's strong!" Mr.Bright: "Yeah... indeed... Shine?" Mr.Shine: "Yes?" Mr.Bright: "Why are we here again?" Mr.Shine: "Err... I believe the boss wants us to capture someone... or something..." Mr.Bright: "Hey! Maybe we were sent to capture him, not to choke him with hotdogs!" Mr.Shine: "You think so? Then... who shall we choke with hotdogs?" The two stared at each others and then turned to Kirby ATW. Mr.Shine: "Hey! Mister Kirby descendant or something like that! I bet you can't wait to be captured, don't you?" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! Capturing people is fun!" Mr.Shine: "Could you tell us who we're supposed to choke with hotdogs, again so we can finish that at once and then carry on with capturing you?" Mr.Bright: "Yeah! | OFF: Since Serra and the others cannot use Dark Weapon's full powers, customised pokedexes can be used to replace some of it's functions. Of course, it cannot be used in combat as a weapon... but just like Dark Weapon, it will show how much health each character has, how much damage is inflicted, how much health foes have left, and will record learned techs so that you may use them again in future battles. It may even gain upgrades that allow it to do stuff Dark Weapon can't and as such, your characters should keep them even after clearing the Pokemon Planet chapter. ____________________________________________________________________ Oak took the pokeball containing the Charmander and then used the tool on the pokeball. There was a strange sound and a small part of the pokeball fell down and shattered on the floor, scattering the liquid toxins on the floor. Oak: "Here... just as you requested, I removed the mind-control toxins in the pokeball. Now... give this Charmander a fitting name and take good care of it. As it will grow, so will you... and eventually, I have a feeling that just like the Ex-Champion, you will get to play a role in the future of this world..." Oak walked toward another machine... and then took out some kind of small machine and presented it to Nino. Oak: "This is a Pokedex, a mechanical encyclopedia. By default, it only serves to record data on owner pokemon... but with the appropriate upgrades, it will grow into a powerful micro-computer useful in various situations. Just watch..." Oak opened the pokedex and then registered Nino and the Charmander to it. Then, he shown the pokedex's screen to Nino... Oak: "I installed a basic medical program on it. It doesn't do much... but it will tell you permanently exactely how much Life Force you and your pokemon have left. It will also tell you how much damage has been inflicted to foes and once a type of foe has been defeated at least once, it will show the foe's Life Force as well. Now... take it with you." ... During this time... ... Drake found himself in some kind of tunnel... a tunnel made of pure energy. He was inside of some kind of rift between the real world and the twisted dark world in which the Dark Castle existed. The exit was just in front of Drake... it really seemed too easy to be true... ... During this time... ... However, Sarah's efforts were in vain and not even a single dark flame came out of her... it was as if her dark powers had left her... As such, there was no way for Sarah to avoid taking damage. The shadow ball wouldn't kill her or inflict a fatal wound... but it would still hurt a lot! Umbreon: "A creature of true darkness? There is no darkness in you, only a disgusting light! You know nothing of true darkness!" The Umbreon's dark aura grew as he prepared to tackle Sarah... ... During this time... ... Siryx couldn't believe it... Siryx: "What the... Dark... Power? How? For a fraction of second... I saw a dark blade's powers flowing trought you and yet... you cannot use Dark Weapon in this state! I hope that this isn't a bad thing... this is neither the place or the moment to fight beings of darkness... especially that our powers are sealed and that we're stuck in pokemon form right now." ... During this time... ... The mouse stared at Dracoon... Mouse: "Information travels quickly among us... while the Network was shattered by the strangers, we, the janitor mice, still act as a physical network, transmitting infos. I was told that the only thing you truly need to know is the direction of your next destination. If I were you... I'd follow the trail of Purifiers to the north-east. The Purifiers are few and far between... but with your Dark Armor upgrade, you should be fine. This path is dangerous in the way that the distance between Purifers is great... but Nightmare Demons doesn't go there often and if they do, they're in small numbers and as such, should be easy to evade. I bet you already know this but... if you meet with Nightmare Demons, DO NOT FIGHT, JUST RUN. Analysis of your weapon systems show that your current weapons are nothing but an annoyance to them. Until you have gained what the strangers call a "Blaster Handgun" and "Element Modules", you will be unable to fight them. Don't worry however! The infos we got says that a "Blaster" and an "Element Module" are located at your next destination which is, by the way, an old ruined robot factory. Anyway... I must get back to the job. I hope I helped you!" The janitor mouse resumed what it was doing, trying to clean the floor... |

| A shadow was just behind Kirby ATW, completely unnoticed... and then, it left... ... The figure appeared just before Dark MetaKnight, outside the festival grounds. It was a small blob of minor Dark Matter, a Dark Limba. It was recognisable from the superior Dark Matters thanks to it's unability to remain in the form of a solid sphere, it's yellow eye, and by it's lack of spikes. Dark Limba: "*speak in Dark Matter language*" Dark MetaKnight: "I see..." Dark MetaKnight took out some kind of machine... it was a commununication unit! Dark MetaKnight: "Dark Reaper, Dark Mind Wizard, this is Dark MetaKnight. The reports says the enemy was located. We shall send our armies from all sides as planned. Remember... the leaders of each specie must be CAPTURED. Not killed, not copied, not possessed, CAPTURED! This applies especially to you, Dark Mind Wizard!" Nightmare: "Heh! No need to remind me! Were the two captured as planned?" Dark MetaKnight: "Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine are in position, in the festival grounds. As soon as they will have released the Dark Veil, the Dark Troopers will begin the assault, followed by the Dark Limbas, and finally, followed by possessed creatures. We shall lead our individual armies ourselves and as we see fit... but still remember to stick to the plan!" Dark Reaper: "Indeed! Now, Dark Mind Wizard! Send the order to your two buffoons to release the Dark Veil!" Nightmare: "First, they're not buffoons. Second, I'll send the order right away!" ... Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine stared at each others as they were trapped within the light cubes... and then... they received the signal... Mr.Bright: "Err... the boss wants us to do it..." Mr.Shine: "I guess we shall do it then?" The two sphere-shaped villains took out some kinds of vials containing a black liquid and then spilled their content on the ground... The black liquid passed trought the cubes' floor and then infiltrated the ground... Quickly enough, large, thick cloud formed in the sky... looks like it's about to rain... and judging from the number of clouds and how black they are, it's going to be a big storm! If you looked very carefully, you could notice that a few of the smaller clouds under the larger ones had... yellow eyes?!? The skin of several of the people who were in the festival seemed to turn a bit darker as well as they stared at the clouds... some of them smiled evilly... |

| 02 stared at Kirbynite for a little while, not understanding how she managed to miss a target that was standing right in front of her using an attack that, well, takes out 50% of the arena in one shot. 02 *thinks* What the... Well... this was to be espected. I was so excited about this fight that I forgot to sleep tonight and see what happened here! I missed a shot I should have not missed!... well, I guess this means I'll have to do this the good old way... 02 filled Mitra's veins with pure dark energy, turning her blood black... and causing her color to change from yellow/orange to purple/black. Then, she dashed toward Kirbynite with the intent of slapping him once!... but this was not any slap! This was fire + dark-elemental and was strong enough to break down a brick wall! | OFF: After a lenghty intro, the actual fight begins! ____________________________________________________________________ As Ryan entered the room, everything was plunged in darkness... and then, the lights were slowly turned on. In front of Ryan, lying in a bed in a rather (or rather... blatently) suggestive position, was a female humanoid pichu wearing some kind of white cape. She had yellow, almost golden fur and her long, beautiful hair seemed to be made of pure light... it's color was a cross between gold and white. Her body seemed to have the perfect proportions... she was strong-looking without being too strong-looking... she was thin but not skeleton-like... and her sky-blue eyes were seemingly shining with kindness... Even to human standarts, she was unnaturally beautiful and sexy (altought Ryan wouldn't be quite affected by the second adjective since he's not an adult) even to human standarts... she almost looked like an angel and yet... you could feel a dark presence in the room... and strangely enough, the almost angelic woman covered with golden fur was apparently the same being than the dark figure... ???: "Welcome human. Welcome to the testing grounds... Aunt Firux already made the explanations so I won't annoy you anymore... I am Mother Ex, the strongest life form in the Universe... even mightier than the One who created everything for I wield the strenght of every single soul that has ever existed and will ever exist. Yes indeed... I know the secrets of the Dark Wind... and I have seen you, wanderer... I saw you, wandering trought the Streams of Time, bound to memories and experiences that aren't you, stuck in a state that is between Mortality and Immortality..." The Mother Ex stood up. Mother Ex: "You can call me Ex Lightheart. I have been chosen by the current Creator, the almighty Zerodius, to judge you. If you are worthy, your power shall live on forever as a part of the "Ex" bloodline... else, you shall resume your life and remember nothing of this... almost. Now, I bet you cannot wait for the endless dialogues to end, do you?" Mother Ex thrown her cape away, revealing her battle armor under. The armor was rather... weird... it was as if it was not really armor... as if Ex was in fact, half-machine or something and yet... you could still sense that she wasn't mechanical... well, not entirely. Mother Ex: "Go on, human. Give it your all. Impress me... if you can!" Mother Ex invited Ryan to attack. |

| Lynrin continue to advanced toward the enemy team... Lynrin: "Very smart move. Too bad that my team doesn't use magic in combat. We have chosen the Way of the Weapon, believing to entrust our lives into weapons rather than in magic. Just as the magical powers of the greatest mage is the reflection of his souls, the reflection of a grandmaster's soul can be seen in the blade of his weapon. Both paths have their advantages and disadvantages... none is wrong. It's just easy just to flail fireballs about... it's easy to just mindlessly swing your sword about. Becoming a master is another story... and while my halberd seems magical... it is only an illusion." Lynrin contined to walk toward his opponents, just as slowly as ever. Lynrin: "Just as you are paving the way for your next attacks... so are we. This will be interesting!" |

| Phantron: "I seen you interract with those two..." Then, Phantron's eyes seemed to change color. As if something had awakened within her. Her original, cruel self awakened. Her eyes changed from a serious, threatening stare to the stare of a completely insane maniac who is burning with the desire to inflict pain and death to all those before him for absolutely no reason. Phantron: "You have interracted with those two... those two probably interracted with the air pirates who stolen the Soul Resonance from me... and whoever resonate with me must be terminated! It better for everyone's sake..." Suddenly, Phantron seemingly caught on fire!... but it was an unnatural fire! Large black flames were coming out of her... but those flames were absorbing light unstead of emitting light. Furthermore, they were making the air colder unstead of warmer... no doubt about it! Those were Dark Flames! Phantron: "See what the Soul Resonance made me into! All the hatred... all the destruction... was transmitted to me! I am infused with the cursed Dark Power!... and I transmit it to every being I resonate with! In order for this world to be saved from the plague that is the Dark Power... every being who runs into me must be eliminated!" Phantron stepped toward Vincent... but then, suddenly, she felt worried... her nicer self was worried about Snipes... She had left him so suddenly, without telling him where she went or anything... and while her true self didn't loved him, she still cared for him for she wanted his powers. Phantron: "I... I..." Phantron hesitated. No being must be allowed to see her true, Dark Flames-envelopped self... and yet, Snipes... Phantron: "You..." Phantron stepped backward... Phantron: "Well..." Finally, Phantron made a decision. She activated her thrusters and the Dark Flames vanished as she flied toward the last place where she saw Snipes... but as she left, a few of the Flames fell down and landed just in front of Vincent. The Flames spinned around for a while, as if they were alive, and then... FWOOOSH!! The Flames united, giving birth to a Nightmare Demon, a spider-shaped abomination that feeds on people's negative feelings and memories!... and obviously, this monster was VERY angry! The Nightmare Demon roared and then tried to jump on Vincent so it could rip him apart with it's fangs! While Nightmare Demons were supposed to be among the strongest species of demons in the whole Universe (even above Arch-Devils), this one seemed a bit small and rather... lame. In fact, while it would still be hard to get rid of it, it would definitely be possible for Vincent to destroy it... and knowing how fast a Nightmare Demon is and how high it can jump, defeating it is probably the best option. |

| OFF: You guessed right. ____________________________________________________________________ The Nightmare Demon felt little to no pain from Vincent's attack however. All his attack did was anger it even further! After all, everyone knows you can't beat Nightmare Demons with mere mortal-born weapons... ...but on another hand, a small scratch appeared on the Nightmare Demon's stomach. Maybe it can be harmed by being struck at certain spots, since it isn't completely immune to physical attacks like a real Nightmare Demon. ... As soon as the Nightmare Demon landed, it turned around to face Vincent and roared in rage! Then, it gathered negative energy and shot a black thunderbolt toward him! Should it connect, the thunderbolt will not damage Vincent (unless he has mechanical parts in him)... but it will drain him of his will to fight, filling his heart with despair and sadness. The goal of the attack was to force Vincent to let himself be swalllowed by the Nightmare Demon; not to kill him. Since the Nightmare Demon was very weak, it wouldn't be able to feed off Vincent's feelings if he died since he's not powerful enough to interract with free-floating souls. |

| OFF: Maybe... but I think it was a rather interesting intro and some interesting details about both opponents were revealed. By the way, as soon as Ryan will start using his stronger techs, Ex will lose her ability to block attacks as easily as in this post. All that Ryan needs to do is damage her once and her insane blocking ability will be disabled for the remainder of the battle. The block she pull off in this post is basically just to force Ryan to skip the "warming up" phase and start using hard-hitting techs right away... unless he has planned a special strategy. ____________________________________________________________________ Ex holds her hand in front of her and... BAAAASH! Ex block both attacks with her bare hand. There isn't even a scratch on her... and she didn't flinched either! Ex: "Is this a joke? I didn't felt anything! It didn't even tickle! I just looked at your soul for about a second... and I KNOW you can do MUCH better than this." Ex smiled. Ex: "Do not be afraid. Whatever you do, you will not kill me... so there's no use in holding back. Clear your mind, concentrate, and unleash your full power! Right now, you're wasting my time as well as your own. I won't attack until you have decided yourself to fight seriously." |

| The Maggots touches the Nightmare Demon... but dissolve instantly upon contact. The negative energies in the Nightmare Demon's body and soul are so intense that they instantly kill any parasite that try to infest it. The Nightmare Demon turned to face the fire bird. Since Fire Birds are lesser incarnations of Phoenixes and are, just like their superior selves, incarnations of life, this upset the Nightmare Demon to no end!... especially that Fire Birds and Phoenixes are the Nightmare Demon's natural enemy! The Nightmare Demon began to stomp around, hissing and roaring angrily, trying to scare the Fire Bird! It was so enraged toward the fiery incarnation that it seemed to totally ignore Vincent... |

| OFF: Going to post Ex's part later actually. Basically, Ex collapsed after removing the poison from her body and was then captured by the scientists and sent to a research institute. This short sentance will be made into a full part later. ____________________________________________________________________ NeoBowser stood atop the bodies of his fallen enemies, victorious. Each death filled him with power and already, he was feeling that he was returning to full power... soon, if the Chaos Essence survived under a form or another, he would be able to locate... tought he doubted it. After all, Serra had shattered it with her version of Dark Weapon... but on another hand... NeoBowser remembered something... the Chaos Essence can be shattered... but it can only truly disappear if certain conditions are met and he's almost sure those weren't met when he was chased from the Chaos Heaven. ...but yet again, he cannot sense the Chaos Essence's presence... not even the presence of a tiny shard. Maybe it truly is gone?... or maybe... maybe it just took another form? After all, this is a different Possibility and the Laws of Physics works differently. Maybe the Source of all Evils doesn't take the form of the Chaos Essence in this Possibility? ... NeoBowser snapped out of his toughts. He looked around. The city was in ruins, the bodies of innocents covered the streets... Yep... a typical victory scene for NeoBowser! NeoBowser was filled with hapiness... which he found ironic. The Absolute Evil can be happy? The Absolute Evil can love? How very strange... but well, no time to wonder about unimportant matters. This was far from being NeoBowser's most blatent and glorious victory: a good 25% of civilians and officials escaped the carnage and would live to spread the news of his rise. If he had the Chaos Essence and the invincibility it bestows upon him, it would be PERFECT for him... but he was no longer invincible and he knew all it took for his power rise to end was a lone ordinary bullet in the head. As such, he would have to find a way to create decoys, fake NeoBowsers for the enemy to hunt while he hides... and he has to find the other ones, Bel, Ex, Odin, and the others... and terminate them before they can become a serious enough hinderance. Sure, this is an imaginary world within the Origin Tower... but while the cities he took over were fake, the power he gained from conquering them was real. | Unfortunately for Nino, the crowd was gone... why did I wrotte "unfortunately"? Becease there are 6 pokemon trainers waiting for her! One of them stepped foward. Trainer: "I see you obtained your first pokemon, like me. According to the Pokemon Trainer code of honor, you can NEVER refuse a challenge! Now, let us do a pokemon battle!" The pokemon trainer took a pokeball while the 5 others placed themselves on the side, waiting for Nino to accept the challenge and send Charmander to fight the trainer's pokemon. ... During this time... ... As Drake advanced toward the exit, the exit... ran away?!? Indeed, the more he advance toward it, the farther it gets! Then... a strange voice... ???: "Hey! Hey! Hey! What's the rush? Why do you want to get out so quickly, fellow Dark Pokemon? Let's take the time to talk a bit, shall we?" ... The Umbreon was shocked!... but obviously, he wasn't quite as lame as he seemed to be and took the attack quite well! Umbreon: "Yes! Keep it on! Unleash your destructive power! Destroy, destroy, destroy!" The Umbreon turned totally purple as it dashed toward Sarah, trying to tackle her! This was the Shadow Rush, an extremely powerful darkness-elemental tackle tech.... but the problem with this tech was that it drained the user's Life Force. By using this tech, the Umbreon had weakened himself quite a bit... but if it lands, Sarah will suffer MASSIVE damage... especially considering the endurance of her current form! ... During this time... ... Siryx blushed as they hugged. No matter how long he had been married to her, his feelings hadn't wittered one bit... even those vile forms didn't stopped his heart from remaining the same... but suddenly, yet one more event came to stop his joy (and Serra's as well). Siryx: "Err... I guess that this rescue attempt is a fKitten Yiffer..." Siryx pointed behind Serra. When she'll turn around, she find out that the owner's wife and several other pokemon trainers entered the room... and there's too many targets in order to use electric attacks and since they're surrounded, she can't run either. ... During this time... ... (OFF: What about skipping Dracoon's journey? The journey will be pretty uneventful AND long. Writting it would basically consist of us posting the same sentances 15 times or so until Dracoon reaches the destination.) |

| The people stared at Nino, completely horrified. The way they stared at her... it was as if she had said a terrible blasphemy. Trainer: "What kind of abomination did you said?!? A true Pokemon Master NEVER refuse a challenge! It's Rule #2 of the Pokemon League, just below the obligation of Pokemon Trainers to catch ALL the pokemons they meet! Not obeying this rule is... well... it's un unspeakable crime!" Everyone, not only the 6 pokemon trainers but all the bystanders around, turned to face Nino and stared at her in a VERY threatening way... ... During this time... ... ???: "Hey! You seem pretty eager to test your Dark powers, isn't it? Killing things is such enjoyable... but of course, living Dark Pokemons never listen to us, the Ghost Pokemons! Nobody ever listen to us, anyway. As Celebi already claimed us, we are unbound to Fate and as such, were able to use the Forbidden power, Technology, in order to learn many things... we also wielded the powers of Darkness way before those Dark Pokemons appeared!... and you know, Evil is pleasant... but you can use Darkness for Good too!... but of course, you're probably beyond reasoning. Fate has most probably promised you a life of slaughtering and torturing innocents..." ... Umbreon smashes into... well... nothing at all... but still lose a good part of his health. However, since he was moving, the thunderbolt didn't struck him. Umbreon: "Faster than that? Hehehe... I can be faster than this..." ... During this time... ... All the people fell down, asleep... but one of them triggered Serra's pokeball's Tractor Beam when he fell. Unfortunately, not even the mysterious dark power would save Serra this time and she was trapped inside. Becease of the drug injections, Serra spaced out during the hours that it took for the trainers to awaken... and then, they simply released her and putted her back into the area where female pikachus were kept. Owner: "I still fail to understand how this animal could use my key to unlock this male raichu... anyway, it's already late now... which surprises me. It is as if hours had passed between the time I returned the pikachu in her pokeball and the time I actually went out to return her to her designated area..." ... During this time... ... | Lyrin sees the sword flying toward him... Lynrin takes out his halberd, not stopping his advance, and aims... and then, as the sword is about to strike, he strikes it with the poisonous blade of his halberd! Strangely enough, the halberd's blade is surrounded with a dark aura and strikes with seemingly magical properties... but in fact, it is, as Lynrin said, an illusion. As such, the counter-attack is powerful enough to shatter the blade (if it turns to diamond, it will simply block the attack) and will not power-up the magical black hole further. During this time, Goldsterd and Killmore walks in circles around their flag for some strange reason... |

| The Nightmare Demon somehow sensed the attacks coming. He took the fireball (and the damage it caused too) without flinching and then, it used the classic strategy Nightmare Demons used to kill Fire Birds and Phoenixes. It let the Fire Bird wrap it's wings around him... and then, once the wings are firmly in position, the Nightmare Demon suddenly moves, not breaking the Fire Bird's hold but actually forcing the way the Fire Bird is holding the Nightmare Demon in place! Thus, the Nightmare Demon gets a clear shot at the Fire Bird's neck... and then tries to bite the Fire Bird! Should it connect, a deadly poison made of pure suffering and hatred will be infused in the Fire Bird. This poison is actually extremely deadly to all creatures... but to an incarnation of life such as the Fire Bird, this is instant death. It wasn't surprising that the Nightmare Demon was able to pull off such a counter attack. After all, Nightmare Demons are the natural enemies of Fire Birds and Phoenixes... in the sense that Nightmare Demons are the natural predators of the Fire Birds/Phoenixes... well, less for the Phoenix since it can revive itself again and again... but to Fire Birds, a Nightmare Demon is quite a scary sight! As such, the summoned creature had big chances of losing... Nightmare Demons are very powerful and their weakness is actually non-conscious robots... and this weakness can be simulated by a skill wizard by using a spell to separate the soul from the body. Nightmare Demons have a hard time damaging souless creatures since most of their attacks aim directly the soul, not the body... and this is also why the attacks are so effective against the Fire Birds, which have almost not physical. |

| OFF: So... you post your character's stats when you fight? Well... if you want. I'll do so too! About how I calculate HP... I calculate a bit like in the Metroid games. This means that the rightmost meter is Ex's current state. If the meter emptied, the number to the left of the meter decrease by one and the meter is refilled. Ex starts to take actual damage once the number to the left of the HP meter has reached "0". Her actual HP meter has 3 layers which means that... 10 X 9 + 10 = 100 3 X 10 = 30 100 + 30 = 130 Ex has about 130 HPs... and since the damage calculations are about the same as in a Paper Mario game (a common attack inflict 2 points of damage), this means that Ex has a MASSIVE amount of HPs. As for the Concentration and Limit meters... well, her Concentration meter is filled by 1 unit each turn... and if she charges up for an attack, she fills it by 5 units. Concentration is like Ex's mana; using techs require Concentration. This also means that Ex will never run out of materials to use attacks; she just has to charge long enough. As for the Limit meter... each time Ryan will inflict damage, the meter will fill a little... once it's full, Limit level 1 is activated and she may either use it or let Ryan damage her further, increasing the Limit meter further. The maximum number of time (and thus, maximum level) the Limit meter can be filled is 4... and believe me, you do NOT want Ryan to be hit with a level 4 Limit tech! Anyway, back to the battle! ____________________________________________________________________ Ex, this time, use both hands to block the incoming attack. Ex smiles. Ex: "Well well well... looks like you're finished with the tiny bitsy attacks, aren't you? Time to fight back..." Ex took out some kind of handgun... Ex: "This is the Blaster Handgun. It looks very small and weak, isn't it?... if you think so, then you WILL be surprised!" Ex aimed and then fired a salve of yellow spheres of neutral-elemental energy. Each sphere would inflict medium damage... and while Ryan can probably take a few of them, taking the entire salve would be quite painful. Fortunately, while the spheres fly at an high speed, they aren't homing and as such, Ryan can probably dodge them. Ex didn't intended to inflict really a lot of damage with this attack. | OFF: Interesting attack... and it works!... but you forgot something: Nightmare Demons are made of pure negative energy and thus, the Fire Bird's egg dies too. The barrier of light causes the Nightmare Demon to die... but this also causes enormous amounts of negative energy to be released... and even if the egg was to survive, there would be nothing left to feed on thus meaning that either way, the egg dies too. ____________________________________________________________________ The Nightmare Demon was about to bite the Fire Bird when it caught on fire and layed an egg within him... Thus, the Fire Bird ignited and caused the Nightmare Demon to catch on fire!... then, it felt the egg sapping his strenght and soon, the Nightmare Demon, unable to bear such positive energy, collapsed, destroyed. Unfortunately for the Fire Bird's egg howeverr, the fact that the Nightmare Demon was made of pure negative energy caused the egg to be infused with negative energy and to rot from the inside... All in all, there was no winner to this fight. The Nightmare Demon couldn't feed on the Fire Bird and the Fire Bird's egg couldn't survive inside of the monster's body. |

| After a while, the sky became totally covered with large black cloud, entirely blocking the light of the sun and plunging the festival grounds in darkness. Then, there was some kind of sound... ... s... s... The sound began to grow louder... and then, it became obvious what was the sound! SCRALTCH!!! One of the Waddledees just next to Rhino litterally exploded! Out of the unfortunate waddledee's remains came some kind of small round grey being with a single horn and two black eyes. It was a Dark Troopers, one of the Dark Matter soldiers! Then, beings all around Rhino (and KirbyATW as well) began to explode as the infiltrated Dark Matters came out of their living disguises! One of them, a large superior Dark Matter, flied high in the air and yelled: Dark Matter: "CHAAAAAARGE!!!" Then, mass chaos ensued. While the forces of darkness were killing everyone that were on the festival grounds, Dark MetaKnight's, Nightmare's, and Dark Reaper's respective armies had formed a perimeter around the festival grounds to keep anyone from escaping. ... Nightmare: "Great! It begun!" Dark MetaKnight took some kind of communication device... Dark MetaKnight: "Captain HookBlade, take command of the troops. I'm going in. I shall capture Kirby's descendant myself..." Captain HookBlade: "Aye aye sir!" Then, Dark MetaKnight headed toward the festival grounds... Nightmare: "Hmph! Glory hog! Always wanting to be the one who's recognised for every success!" Nightmare turned into a sphere of pure energy and followed Dark MetaKnight from a distance... |

| Dark MetaKnight stared at Kirby ATW... his yellow, evil eyes glowed behind his mask... Dark MetaKnight: "... ... ... Black Hole!" Dark MetaKnight's sword teleported back into his hands. Then, he jumped away from Kirby ATW and stared intensely at him... Dark MetaKnight: "No wonder this was such a badly executed move! You are not of the Kirby bloodline... you look like him physically but you aren't even his indirect descendant. You're nothing more than a common guardian." Dark MetaKnight pointed at Kirby ATW with Black Hole. Dark MetaKnight: "Know that the glorious Dark Queen, 02, shall soon rule this planet! In a sweep of terror, this planet's civilizations shall be destroyed and all of it's souls will fall under eternal enslavement!... and there is nothing you, a stupid Kirby-lookalike, can do to stop our Excellency from taking over!" Suddenly, Dark MetaKnight received a transmission... Dark Reaper: "Dark MetaKnight! Things looks ugly! We ran into a life-form called "Rhino" and it's beating up our troops! We have to retreat!" Dark MetaKnight was not surprised for some reason... Dark MetaKnight: "Well... it looks like I'll have to go... but before I leave, I shall tell you my name... *cough!* I am Dark MetaKnight, one of the Dark Queen's 3 Grand Generals!... and I have a gift for you!" Dark MetaKnight suddenly teleported away!... but as he did, some kind of teddy bear appeared at the location where he used to be. Some kind of purple sphere filled with stars approached the teddy bear... Nightmare: "Hmm... I bet there's more to this teddy bear than it may look..." The sphere exploded, revealing the form of the hideous Nightmare! Nightmare grabbed the teddy bear... Nightmare: "Yes... most definitely! This must be..." BOOOOOOOOOM!!! The teddy bear exploded, much to Nightmare's displeasure! Nightmare: "... a bomb. I can't believe I was stupid to do this... Anyway!" Nightmare turned toward Kirby ATW. Nightmare: "Ha! A mere dreamlander to terrorise! OK... *COUGH!* *COUGH!* MUWAHAHAHAHA! I am Nightmare, one of the great and almighty Dark Queen's Grand Generals! Bow before me and I will MAYBE spare your life! HAHAHA!" Nightmare *thinks* Heh! I'm so convaincing and scary! I bet this Kirby-like being must be scared to death right now! Hahaha!... I worry what happened to Mr.Bright and Mr.Shine however. I wonder if they were able to break free of those strange light cubes or something... |
