Jizuko - Yeah but at least a new IE version is something to mention, as it usually brings with it a slew of Windows Update fixes in the upcoming days.

I think it did but it doesn't seem like the same one - pretty obvious by the intro post, but you never know sometimes. So too bad if the old one hasn't come back yet. Welcome. |

O-Ren, isn't it? (Yeah, I know Ashley's just taking Oren and playing with it, but if you're such a Kill Bill fangirl... ) *ducks* Welcome. |

...Let's hope that you didn't sign up just to read the board. (We really need that backup, enough reading material in there to last for weeks.) Welcome. |

Such a cute Lakitu. ...So sue me, I always liked him. Even if he doesn't serve an "active enemy" role these days... Welcome to the board. |

There once was a man named Ennis... OK, I'm not going to even TOUCH that. A compilation would be fine - I mean, toss those 8 games into a $29.99 cartridge and you'd certainly have people lining up to get their hands on one of those. And with the large NES library, they could come out with at least 8 or 9 packs from that era. (If we get the next wave, it includes such games as Mappy, Clu Clu Land, Wrecking Crew, Ghosts & Goblins, Adventure Island, etc.) |

Supposedly it infected some sites, took the form of a downloadable ringtone, and when you downloaded it it made your cellphone's screen flash "VIRUS". I once watched a computer show where they used that SAME effect to simulate a virus infection. Talk about low-rent. XD Sympatico blocks most spam aside from anything Viagra related, but Thunderbird picks up on most of them. |

Please do tell, Elmo. I liked the first BB that they did in the United States, but I guess that was because it was... well, fresh and original. Then the rules just became way too complex and most of the characters were boring. |

France and England should both win. At worst England will draw but I can't see them not advancing. Of course, second place in that group could mean a QF tie with GREECE. |

It saves just fine on VBA for me. Make sure you're updated to the most recent version... And make sure Save Type is set to Automatic. |

...And? Lots of games have music tracks/graphics/data/etc. that never end up being used in the final version. It's not as uncommon as you might think. |

It could have a lot to do with just how the person acts online in general. I've known some people who... well... they're pretty intelligent offline, but online they just type without thinking. Someone could be a competant SMW hacker and know the basics of level design and how to use Lunar Magic, but if they have a "holier-than-thou" attitude or decide to use AOL-speak, well... |

Xevious isn't a bad game at all but it's not one people will pay that kind of money for. The only ones buying the game are collectors and maybe some old-school gamers who have fond memories of setting the high score in their local pizza parlor.

...Gateway does not charge you for drivers. No company is stupid/desperate enough to pull that stunt. You sure you're going to this page? |

I still like my Expos. Even when they're getting neglected, I still like them. But tonight... OH MY LORD. If any of you see the highlights, you CANNOT tell me the Twins deserved to win right there. That ball wasn't an inch or two foul - try a few FEET at the least. I have never seen such a miscall in all my life... If it was an inch or two, fine, but COME ON. Great argument by old Frank there (including the CHOKE~! sign) and I'm sure we're going to ask for a review of it... but like they said on the local news, we're the Expos. Baseball doesn't give a rat's ass about a miscall like that. |

It's not that bad a game. |
SS2 is better because at least you have more classes to play around with and there's secret levels. If you don't mind Diablo-style gameplay and want to just have a distraction for a bit, it's fine.

Yeah, but... that's the closest you'll get these days unless you could find all 8 of those games at a flea market/used game store. |
Apparently Xevious was released in North America for the NES. That surprised me, I thought it was passed over. |
