Ex: "Well... Chaos make very good pets actually... altought fully grown Chaos are Omega level opponents which means that they can demolish entire cities in seconds... but it takes millions of years for a Chao to reach it's final evolution and by then, probably everyone but me will be dead... and even then, I will have grown sick of the little guy since half a million year... but maybe not. Chaos start out as simple animals... but progressively become more complex creatures, acquiring intelligence, consciousness, all those kinds of things... but that's beside the point."

Ex smiled.

Ex: "Raising a Chao... what a weird way to save the world!... well, I seen weirder before. I still remember that stupid "Amazing Island" Dimension... man! What would I have given to be allowed to whack that Black Evil dude with my sword unstead of having to liberate each village trought stupid mini-games!... anyway. I'm in!"

The Penguin Bell that was the farthest from Schwa is the real one.

As soon as Schwa struck it, the Penguin Bell screamed in pain and returned in the ceiling!

The fake Penguin Bells fell off the ceiling and exploded upon crashing into the ground, covering the ground with deadly fire! Unless Schwa jumped or somehow protected himself, he WILL suffer damage.

Then, the barrage of attack came... but it seemed that it was even worse than before!

The Crusher Box fell at double the usual speed, trying to crush Schwa before he could get up!

Then, the two barrels landed in front of Schwa and opened. The farthest one lobbed 4 bouncing bombs unstead of 2 and the barrel in the front fired two volleys of missile unstead of a single one.

=2: SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE
A very close competition!

SSBM smashes SMB3 on every level in terms of technical prowess... but we are to find out which the best GAME, not best movie! As such... on to the comparison!

SMB3 goes first, "nostalgia" force me to. SMB3 offers an incredibly long and engaging adventure made of 8 worlds of pure platforming goodness. It offers some of the best GFX the NES has to offer and is on the edge of 8-bits technology. The levels are extremely well-designed and are neither too long or too short. They're just right. There's a massive quantity of levels and tons of variations too! Each world offer a new theme, guaranteeing that everyone will have his cup of tea in the game!... and if you don't like a world? No problem! The game is packed full of secret areas... and items! Tanooki Suit, Hammer Bros suit, hammer... you name it, it got it! There's even hidden levels such as the ghost ships! There's also the flute in case you're not interested at clearing some of the game's less interesting or original worlds and want to skip to more interesting levels... or just want to reach the end boss early. However, the bad starts here. This is a pre-N64 Mario game and as such, offer a low difficulty level. The bosses are not very tricky, the levels offer not that many challenges, and only world 8 and the later airship stages offer a real challenge. The final boss was also labelled as one of the most disappointing Mario final bosses ever... which is harsh in my opinion since he's challenging but yes, with the secret items, he's a piece of cake. SMB3 has a better multiplayer mode than SMB1... in fact, it's nice but nowhere near today's games. You can play the adventure mode in cooperation (bah! Swapping the controller in a single-player game would be the same actually)... or you can play the REAL multiplayer experience: the battle mode! It's actually a copy of Mario Bros (not SMB1)!... and there's even special mini-games such as one with boxes, a race for coins, and a pipe throwing tons of stuff! Really, really fun actually.

All in all, if you ignore the low difficulty, this is truly worthy of being called the best game ever with a long, engaging single-player adventure and a surprisingly fun and addictive multiplayer "battle" mode.

Now... on to SSBM! SSBM is a fighting game and focus more on the multiplayer part... but unlike the first game, it got a single-player mode!... and not only does it got one, but it's one truly excellent one! Classic is a carbon copy of the first game's single-player mode! It even got the same order for each stages and the same old final boss!... however, there are twists! First, we finally get random opponents and thus, a LOT less repetition and a harder final boss should you play on the harder difficulties and fulfill some conditions. But the meat of the single-player mode is in it's two main modes: Adventure and Event Match. Adventure is a old school player's dream come true: travel trought each of the video game universes, hunting down Evil until you finally face the most dreaded villain of all times in a showdown of epic proportions on the Final Destination, the link between the video game universe and the real world! For a fighting game, Adventure mode is long and feature a lot of variety, alterning skillfully between melees and platforming phases. Just like Classic mode, you get a bonus if you're on the harder modes and fulfill some conditions... exept that it's even better here. Unstead of a new final boss, you get the same final boss... but he now have a second form AND you get a (slightly) better ending for defeating this new boss! Event Match is very different... but just as deep and entertraining! You have, like, 51 missions to complete. The missions are diverses and original, ranging from protecting Peach from a giant Bowser, to separating the Nana from Popo, including also fighting 128 miniature Marios and KOing a foe only when he's in a specific form. Those missions offer a nice break from the main adventure. There's also a Stadium mode where you can play mini-games and take on the infamous Fighting Polygons (now evolved into Fighting Wireframes) in a variety of settings. In the multiplayer department, this is a dream come true. Modes in which victory is now based on coins and points were added and several new ways of playing are added such as a melee where all characters are giant, tiny, invisible, or even where everyone has HPs, like in other fighting games! Multiplayer is where the game shines... and the combination of a deep, challenging single-player experience and probably the best multiplayer mode ever makes for some truly terrific gameplay! And now... do you think this is too much? That I spent too much time just on the modes? I'm NOT over yet! SSBM is THE game that has the most secrets, EVER! Secret characters, secret arenas, new single-players modes, new events, new multiplayer options, new adventure mode bosses... it is unbelievable how much there is to unlock!... and it's not Mario Party style where you start with nothing and must unlock everything! On the opposite! You start with enough to make the game truly fine as it is... and you obtain so much stuff that in the end, you'll barely believe how many options this game got! So... SSBM is perfect, right? WRONG! While the characters are almost Starcraft-level balanced... it doesn't keep some characters from having an awfully steep learning curve (Pichu, Bowser, Peach...) and there is a finite number of characters and arenas, of course. The fact that alternate musics comes out randomly when selecting a stage unstead of choosing specifically is just a tiny bit annoying too. The main adventure, altought long for a fighting game, is still a bit too short. There's a definite lack of a story (altought you can figure one out trought the cutscenes) which brings down the score a bit. Also... the harder modes are like, REALLY hard and sometimes, the odds are stacked a tad bit too much against the player (later missions in Event Match, the Pokemon stage and later boss fights in Adventure's harder modes), and there's the fact that, face it, no matter how good it is, you'll get sick of it eventually.

All in all, SSBM is just like SMB3, a good candidate to be the best game of all times... but there can only be a single best game of all times.

Now to the results...

The winner is...

SSBM!!!

Despite it's short adventure, it's multiplayer and extra single-player modes compensate and the high difficulty of the harder modes means that altought there are only a few levels, you will NOT breeze trought them! All in all, SSBM wins as a single-player game becease of it's difficulty and as a multiplayer game for obvious reasons.

SMB3 lovers... do not throw tomatoes at me however! SMB3 is one heck of a game... it got a long and varied single-player adventure and a battle mode that is too often overlooked... and as such, this was a very close match.

With that said... have a nice day and enjoy your games, folks!

Schwa's attempt was successful: one of the bouncing bombs is struck and explode, causing a chain reaction.

While the chain reaction filled almost entirely the hall with fire, it didn't reached Schwa's position.

Two Penguin Bells with the skull symbol arrived. None of them were the real one... which means that the real one is either above him or behind!

The three Penguin Bells all thrown their explosives. Since the real Penguin Bell was just above Schwa, it would be hard to actually see it and dodge in time.

As the Penguin Bell finished attacking, the Grav Boost Aura faded, it's power depleted.

OFF: Since no one is replying... I guess I'll reply! If this RP is just gonna have Jackson and Phantron... then so be it.

Won't let a promising RP die like that after all.

____________________________________________________________________

The golden demon... it was how people called this monster of metal that burned down every house she ran into, slaughtered any man, woman, or child she found, killed, destroyed, burned every village that stood in her path.

This thing was a disaster, a cataclysm, a plague sealed within a golden armor and waiting to happen.

Wandering near the edges of the island, the golden demon found her next victims... a peaceful village that had lived there for a long time. A village filled with peace-loving innocents that had never done anything to deserve the fate the infamous mechanical destroyer had in mind for them...

Jumping into the center of the village, the golden armored villain sets ablaze the whole town and quickly slaughter all the people she sees. Controlling the winds with her powers, the demon scatter the fire strategically, trapping the surviving villagers in a perimeter and then, walking trought the flames as if they didn't existed to her, she kills the villagers one by one, using her laser breath and let the flames finish off those that escapes.

Thus, the mechanical monster has once again put an end to the existance of yet another peaceful village, destroying all of it's monuments, killing entire families, ending the history of the region.

Just a few tiny cries for help escaped the boundaries of the village...

...

Phantron walked out of the burning village...

Phantron: "Analysis indicate that the people in this village had indeed met with some of the pirates I have been hunting for a long time... they must have gone there to obtain supplies. Still... my hunt must now continue on for the pirates are still on the run and they must have, according to my analysis, they must have entered at least 5 more villages... and for my Soul Resonance ability to remain unused... they must all be burned down..."

Phantron just realised she had tought aloud.

Phantron: "I will have to fix my speech program soon... my toughts are automatically repeated by my voice synthetiser... err... my internal dictionnary is even damaged. Maybe I should have spared the library for a few seconds in order to update my memory files... and maybe I should have obtained a few tools there... bah! The next village, which I will burn down too, will have those... and I should arrive there in about 6 hours according to my calculations..."

Phantron resumed her journey to eradicate the Basilisk air pirates and all those that ran into them and lived...

Friend smiled. She seemed amused... to her, this was normal.

Friend: "I'm an "Ex" being. Where I come from, I get to have this treatment everywhere I go... altought it must be even worse for Mother Ex. I don't know how many people worship her but well..."

Friend suddenly felt a little ashamed... she stared at Luigi and then, she hid her necklace, which had a weird symbol on it, in her pocket.

Friend: "Oh and... believe me Allaura... I do NOT worship Mother Ex... yeah... right... I wouldn't go around doing such a thing... hee... hee... hee... err... yeah..."

Friend looked down and finally realised people were staring at her. She cheered up and turned to Schwa.

Friend: "Oh! Sorry! So... you wonder where I got my powers from? Well... I am the next step in Project "Ex"! I am the new prototype for the ZX-107 generation of "Ex" beings! After the great Admiral Zerodius himself went to this world, he met with a specie of extraordinary beings... Oracles! Those beings featured many powers the "Ex" beings did not have... and altought Evil was gone, Mother Ex had asked Zerodius to continue Project "Ex" in order to send "Ex" beings in other worlds that had not the chance of being free of Evil like our own world. As such, seeing great potential in the powers of Oracles, he searched for years and years and years... and finally ran into an Oracle know as "Yiusi". While young, Zerodius's analysis shown that this Oracle had all of the powers an Oracle could wield and that someday, she could become one of the strongest Oracles ever if given the chance. Zerodius then proceeded to put the Oracle subject into a battle situation and pushed her powers to the limits!... and then, soaked with the Oracle's power, Zerodius returned to our world and used the samples and data gained to create the new prototype... the "Ex" being who would be the indirect mother of all the coming "Ex" beings..."

Friend seemed really proud now!

Friend: "I was created on this day! I am the first ZX-107 "Ex" being!... but... well..."

Friend stopped smiling... she seemed quite... sad...

Friend: "Zerodius had made a SLIGHT miscalculation when he programmed my DNA and Soul data... and as such, my dark powers that comes from the Dark Wind and amplified by a bio-mechanical "Dark Weapon" life-form are incompatible with the new Oracle powers. Which means that..."

Friend suddenly felt an intense pain in her chest. Not now, not during an explanation!... well, it seems it will be...

Friend tried to contain herself... she didn't wanted everyone to see her in this state...

Friend: "... it... i... it... it means that... that..."

Friend couldn't contain herself any longer as her dark and Oracle powers began to clash, ripping her apart from inside.

Friend: "AAAAAAAAARG!!!"

This one was way worse than any other she had before. She didn't coughed, unlike the other times... this time, the blood just flowed out of her mouth quickly and she was completely unable to keep it from flowing out. Closing her mouth caused her mouth to fill up almost instantly and forced her to vomit it all.

Large wounds appeared on her chest, changing her sweater's color from blue to dark red.

Her hands seemed to change color, growing black as if they were drained of all of the blood inside them.

Then, there was a big burst of energy. Large dark flames came out of her body at the same time as large, multi-colored and almost crystal-looking flames.

As the flames got out, Friend collapsed and the bleeding stopped. She looked awfully pale...

Friend tried to stay awake... but she had been left weakened...

Friend: "Why... what... did I... done... to deserve... that..."

Friend fell asleep, unable to stay awake...

As the beam strikes the Penguin Bell, the fake Penguin Bells as well as the Crusher Box and the barrels fall down, exploding violently and covering the floor with fire.

The Penguin Bell's eyes widen... and then, it's rope breaks and the Penguin Bell fell down on the ground.

One by one, the Penguin Bell's parts exploded while emitting a blinding light that blinded all those in the room... and once only the robot's core was left, it exploded in a huge sphere of light, confirming that the Penguin Bell was now definitively gone.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

With the security system busted, the doors unlocked. Schwa may now progress to the next room or return to the entrance hall if he wish to pick another path trought the factory.

As Schwa opens the door, he finds out something totally incredible!

This door was actually the building's exit!... and the building was on the edge of a cliff of a cratter.

Within the cratter was probably the largest mechanical city he had ever seen... and also the most polluted one. Thousands of tall towers that ended with dark red fire were here and there, ruling over the seemingly chaotic arrangement of metal below. The fires were obviously caused by an extremely toxic substance being burnt as the sky was totally covered and the city was trapped in perpetual darkness.

The question was... how could such a huge city be invisible? The cratter was not visible from outside the building... the tower in the center, the Command Center Tower, was the anwser.

A strange antenna was on the top of the threatening-looking black tower... a Scrambler! This city was not any mechanical city... it was a high-tech Necropolis!

It then became obvious that those toxic substances being burnt were human bodies and that the reason why those robots acted so much like humans was becease they were actually humans!

But what kind of monster would trap the souls of humans within machines?... the anwser lies foward...

Since jumping off the cliff is stupid, the only way to advanced would either to return inside the entrance hall building or use the huge elevator that's just in front of Schwa.

However, the elevator doesn't move.

It looks like a key is needed... and Schwa doesn't have one currently.

Maybe one could be found in the entrance hall building somewhere?

Ex turned to Schwa...

Ex: "The Living Assets cannot purify NeoBowser. He's basically the Living Assets' complete opposite. As you can see... he's only with us becease his powers were sealed by Serra when he arrived in this world. That's a good thing... becease that I'm starting to doubt that Dark Phoenix is truly the one behind all those challenges! Yes, he got a weird sense of humor... but I was nearly killed and Dark Phoenix likes to annoy people, not kill them!... and even if he does, he doesn't do it for real. The souls of his victims survive and are either revived or invited to stay at his tower... So, basically, I believe that a greater force is at work here... an Evil force that seeks to eliminate BOTH Odin and Fenrir in order to lead Ragnarok!"

NeoBowser: "Whoever lead Ragnarok decides of what the new world will look like. If good people like the Light Odin or the Dark Fenrir lead Ragnarok, Evil will be banished from this Possibility, just like Evil was banished from my own Possibility... but if this world's Evil takes Odin's and Fenrir's place, then a new world made of Evil will rise!"

Ex: "And of course, you'll seek to learn who is that bad guy and then join him hoping you'll either become his second-in-command or take his place as the supreme master of the Universe."

NeoBowser: "I'm that predictable? Too bad! Anyway... we're obviously in Antartica, on a image of Earth 2000AD or something like that."

Ex: "How can you be so sure?"

NeoBowser: "An evil mastermind's intuition, maybe? Anyway... I'll see you later, losers!"

NeoBowser, seemingly unnaffected by the blizzard, advanced toward the center of the continent. NeoBowser was sure that a scientific base would be there somewhere... and who says base say equipment... he would steal a plane there and reach the closest continent and then... he would recover a bit of power by slaughtering and terrorising people around the world.

As for Ex, slowly, she began to feel the cold and realised that she was wearing an unsufficient amount of clothes. Dark Weapon compensated by heating up Ex's body artificially... but doing so would keep Ex from using as much power as usual since most of her power was used to keep her from dying from the cold air. After all... it IS quite cold in Antartica!

OFF: I'm going to use new characters!

____________________________________________________________________

??? #1: "I say that we are lost!"

??? #2: "We're perfectly on schedule."

??? #1: "I say: we are lost! You don't know where we're going!"

??? #3: "Shut up! You're giving me, and probably the boss too, a headache!"

The three finally arrived at the arena.

??? #2: "Haaa! There we are!"

??? #1: "I STILL say we're lost!"

??? #3: "You idiot! We arrived!"

??? #2: "Erm... right... sorry."

The three figures placed themselves on the East Side, next to the prison. he first figure was a black knight riding a Nightmare, a strange ethereal horse that came from the dark dimension. The black knight was called Goldsterd and was most obviously a human. Since the Nightmare was not really in the material plane, the black knight moved at a somewhat slow speed. Altought the cavalier was a knight, his voice betrayed his identity: he was not a noble and had probably became a knight only becease of his skills... and since it takes insane talent to be recognised as a knight when you have "dirty" blood, it must mean that this knight is a force to be reckoned!

The second figure was the leader. It was a humanoid figure wearing a suit of black armor that totally covered him. The being was not a physical being but was actually made of pure dark flames... and as such, it became obvious that the armor was, in truth, an automate, a medieval robot. The automate was painfully slow, slower than almost anything you could imagine... but the being's insanely powerful dark aura and the unnatural glow of his long pike indicated that altought he was a slow moving guy, you do NOT want him to hit you with that long pike of his! The being was speaking with a weird english accent showing that he wasn't a common dark monster however; he was a noble being, probably a dark lord... in fact, he was Lynrin, a dark lord from the Eastern Lands... but Lynrin was not how people reffered to him. Unstead, he was being called "Sir Killalot". Why Killalot? Well... during a battle against a rival lord, Lynrin's army ran away... so, Lyrin took on the entire enemy army all by himself... and slaughtered them to the very last! Since this day, he has been nicknamed "Sir Killalot" and has been respected by his allies and feared by his enemies.

The third figure was a dark elf archer wearing an heavy suit of armor and some kind of weird bow. He was unnnaturally fast... in fact, it was likely this dark elf could outrun any cavalier no matter how fast... in fact, he was so fast he would probably even outrun a car. This dark elf was Killmore, Killalot's most loyal servant. After Killalot had saved Killmore from a raid by a rival lord, Killmore had sweared to follow Killalot to the ends of the world... and altought Killalot tried to convaince Killmore to let him be, he couldn't get rid of him. Since this day, Killmore serves as Killalot's body guard, cook, mechanic, horse keeper, ambassador... Killmore had every skill and just like Killalot, was an army by himself. Altought he didn't had Killalot's unnatural strenght or Goldsterd's ethereal horse, he was so fast he could surround an entire army all by himself and keep them busy with a barrage of arrows. The barrage was usually terribly weak but it was also incredibly thick... almost as thick as if an actual army was shooting!

The three formed a three-man army and were know trought all of the Eastern Lands as the Plague Squad. There was no challenge they couldn't complete, no opponent they could defeat!

Together, the three were invincible and today, they were going to prove it by facing foes from a land outside of the Eastern Lands. The three had heard of beings with powers called "psychic", of automates that could think on their own called "Reploids", of god-like "Hunters", of the defensive masters called "Oracles"... and of course, there were rumors about beings simply called "Ex" that were rumored to be the strongest beings ever.

The Plague Squad was ready to take on all of them!... and at once, if needed! The Eastern Lands had bored them to death... and they couldn't wait for the start of their new, exciting life of challenges!

OFF: Huh? The discussion thread was removed?... anyway, my opinion is basically the same as RT-55J's exept that I'll say it in a more polite and comprehensive way.

I'm rather saddened to say that SMB3 is winning... but not becease it's not a good game.

Rather, I feel it that we should choose which is the best GAME. There's people here that said that SMB3 is the best game ever becease it was featured in a movie... WTF?!? Then, there's people that vote SMB3 for the impact it had on video games... *COUGHI* The question here is: Which game is the BEST, not which game had the most impact!

Else, Pong would 0wn3d SMB3 becease that's it the first video game.

Anyway... I don't mind SMB3 winning becease that, frankly, it really is a magnificient game!

Anyway, to all "nostalgiacs"... replay BOTH SSBM and SMB3 before voting and then vote according to the experiences you just had, not according to your memories. In short, vote according to the CURRENT fun factor of the game. After all, how can you say SMB3 is the best game ever if you can no longer enjoy it or doesn't enjoy it as much as newer games?

< Doesn't have an Avatar capable of such a thing and doesn't want to since I would rather please a female specimen of my own specie rather doing something like that.
V Is of the same specie as me but REALLY needs to get a new Avatar becease your current one smells like s**t, look like s**t, and judging from my analysis, probably really is s**t!

OFF: Well... since Schwa spoke to Ex, I guessed that they would be on the same location... and unless I misunderstood Schwa's posts, then his character landed in Antartica along with Ex and NeoBowser.

Schwa and his friend thus ignore the door behind the counter and open the secondary door.

They immediately find themselves in the staff hall. There, a pack of tiny, harmless mouse-shaped robots tirelessly work to keep the hall clean altought the bodies of the staff has long perished by the hands of Penguin Bell.

There are about a dozen of offices and in the back of the room is the door leading to the Director's Office. The Elevator Key must be there, somewhere...

Inside Oak's lab...

Oak: "It was rather reckless of you, doing that in front of all those retards. If they had took you seriously... they could have jumped on you and ripped you apart like rabid animals, you know! Ever since we got a new Champion, it seems that everything turned for the worst on our world... but this probably doesn't concern you."

Oak approached a strange domed machine...

Oak: "I have been researching pokemon for a very, very long time... but pokemons are very mysterious creatures... even now, we barely know anything about them... so, normally, I would ask you to catch every single pokemon you see so I can study them... but I only say that becease that's what the retards outside want to hear. The truth is... it is no longer about the pokemons' bodies that I want to learn... but about the things they call "Fate" and "Holy Laws"... and I think that you're one of the few potential trainers with the maturity and the skill to seek out the truth about them."

Oak pressed a button and the dome disappeared, revealing three pokeballs.

Oak: "This world is dangerous... wild pokemons becomes more and more aggressive now that the pokemon-shaped figure appeared at Indigo Plateau and the trainers, too, are going wild now that we have a new Champion... especially that the new Champion is cruel and ruthless. As such... you will need a partner for your journey. In each of these pokeballs is a freshly caught pokemon... pick a pokeball, any of them."

...

During this time...

...

Celebi stared at Drake, disappointed.

Celebi: "I... see... I understand... After all, it is my Fate to be alone... well, you would be better staying away from me. All those who choose to follow me are destined to die and since I didn't your Fate, then you may be able to live if you run away now."

...

During this time...

...

However, it seemed as if there was no exit.

Umbreon: "Looking for an exit? I fear that without the Dark power, you will not find it... and even if you found it, it only allows people who have sold their souls to the Darkness to pass! You are lucky, indeed! You are about to join the Dark forces and assist us in the destruction of all life!... may you like it or not!"

The Umbreon began to glow in a purple light and it's dark aura was revealed.

Umbreon: "Evil dictate that we shall bring every creature into the depths of the Darkness!... but it never said about bringing them in good shape! As such... you WILL cooperate or I will rip apart this pathetic body of yours with the incredible powers of Evil!"

...

During this time...

...

As Serra made it to the owner's office and it seems like he had left the door open!... not only that but the key was just right there, on the desk!

Reaching it should be no problem for Serra for altought this new body of her is quite fat, it still can jump very well!... well, not as well as her old one, that's for sure, but she can still jump high and far!

...

During this time...

...

The fan slowed down, which would allow Dracoon to pass but... suddenly...

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!

The alarm was triggered and the section of the ventilation system Dracoon was in was isolated, blocking the exits... leading to the interior of the building, not the exterior!

The section of the ventilation system Dracoon was in was soon filled with a strange gas... poison?

Fortunately, Dracoon is immune to these toxins since they only affect biological beings.

As such, the way out is now open... altought the alarm was triggered.

Oak: "All pokemons must be bound to a pokeball to be considered yours... but rules doesn't specify that the pokemon must remain in the pokeball and the effects of the neuro-toxins wear off after a while. Furthermore..."

Oak shown Nino a small tool...

Oak: "This is an illegal tool which is kept in this lab for study purposes... it is a tool that disable pokeballs' drug injection systems. It's usually used by criminal organisations to turn pokemons against their trainers since well... being stuffed in a ball isn't quite fun. Once you will have chosen a partner... I will remove the injection system of the chosen pokemon's pokeball."

Oak smiled.

Oak: "You must be wondering why I'm doing all that when I hardly pay attention to new trainers usually, do you? Well... let's just say that I know that you aren't quite what you claim to be..."

...

During this time...

...

Celebi: "Fate governs everything. All attempts at breaking Fate were unsuccessful..."

Celebi turned aggressive!

Celebi: "If Fate had never existed, do you think that I would have REALLY chosen such an awful way of life! I completely hate it! All those powers... for what? I'm universally loathed and feared which means that the few ones who can actually see me attack me on sight or run away, terrified! I never asked to become Death! All I ever wanted was a normal life!... but who cares? Since you're not running away from me, this means that you will die soon and as such, whatever if I tell you everything?"

...

Umbreon: "Enough! No more mister nice guy!"

A black shere of energy appeared in front of Umbreon as he prepared himself to attack! Looks like Sarah wouldn't be able to get away without a fight...

...

During this time...

...

Siryx: "Err... Serra? Maybe you should have waited that the owner would get out of the room before snatching the key..."

It was true, the owner of the farm had noticed Serra getting the key. He was standing in the doorway, smiling... in his right hand was a pokeball... probably the one to which Serra is bound.

Owner: "Well well well! What do we have here? Stealing a human's possessions isn't very nice, you know!"

Siryx: "Serra? I hope you still have your reflexes intact... becease he's about to try and hit you with the pokeball's Tractor Beam!"

...

During this time...

...

As Dracoon got out, the first thing he noticed was his body rusting and decaying from the toxic air... but already, the Dark Suit module was taking effect.

Altought his body was still falling to pieces, the rate at which he self-destructed was reduced by more than 50%, which means he would be able to travel twice the distance as he could before!... not only that but the recovery rate from the toxic air while inside purifying fields was increased by 200%, which means he wouldn't get stuck for as long as before and wouldn't be so vulnerable.

Judging from the readings he got, there was no signs of pursuit. This was obviously just a common security system that took care of incoming biological parasites and as such, is totally inneffective on the evil Nightmare Demons and on robots such as Dracoon.

In short, Dracoon's escape went unnoticed actually... which means that he's now free to continue his journey.

Ex: "OK... we're lost in the middle of nowhere and NeoBowser is out there somewhere, without anyone to watch over him and make sure he doesn't do anything nasty while we're not wacthing..."

Dark Weapon: "Bah! What can he do, in his current state? Anyway... according to my memory banks, in year 2000AD, there were very little people on Earth, continent Antartica... all there was were a few scientific bases here and there. We need to find them... and then, maybe they'll help us find our friends?"

Ex: "Or maybe they'll capture us and study us like animals. People were very superstitious back then and deeply feared DNA modifications. I don't think they'll take it too kindly to meet a genetically engineered bio-mechanical life-form..."

Dark Weapon: "Don't be so paranoid! We're not even sure there are no sub-species in this version of Earth. Maybe humans aren't the only conscious beings in this Sub-Dimension?"

Ex: "I hope so. NeoBowser and that Evil force's games are already big enough problems. I don't want to have to deal with xenophobic fools on top of all that! Anyway... closest base should be where?"

Dark Weapon: "You're in luck. Starting from 1900AD or so, historical data on locations became precise... which means that you won't have to solve riddles to find out where to go! The closest base should be to your north. It will take two weeks to reach it if you walk at the speed of a normal human."

Ex: "Great... just great... it will take FOREVER to make it there!"

Ex begun the long journey trought the ever-white plains of ice toward a scientific base...
