It was the Download 2004 festival. I didn't go but lots of people said Joey was a really good fill-in.

I used to love the murderdolls, I've got two copies of the CD, both singles, a hoodie and four t-shirts. Then I guess I grew out of it. I'm a really lyrical person and I found the lyrics to be really shallow.

Machinae Supremacy - Deus Ex Machinae. An album that completly reignited my love for music and showed me that good stuff is out there if you look for it. Also Mansun's Kleptomania, because I owe this band everything; my name, my faith and getting me out of my teenage years still smiling.

Posted on 10-12-04 01:35 PM, in Serious Topic About Suicide Link
*shrugs* I'm perfectly willing to admit that my attempts at suicide were me wanting the attention. I wanted to show that I was in pain, I wanted someone to rescue me. That's also why I cut myself, I wanted them to see that I hurt too. I did go on antidepressants for a while, they were some kind of serotonin blockers. That was really fucking scary, I had moments where I would just zone out, and since I worked with knives a lot, I'm so surprised I didn't lose anything important

I sort of have those moments Taryn was talking about, but they're different in that my mind just shuts down. It'll start with something tiny, like I'll make some stupid mistake at work, and then I'll tell myself I'm not good enough, that I'm their last resort, that if I walked out they'd all my cheering, that I'm a whore and no man or woman in their right mind would ever want to even come near me. While this is going on I just seem to stop, I just stand there untill they shut up and I can get on again.

I always thought Yuri looked cute

But yeah, I'm really looking forward to this. The first Shadow Hearts was really overlooked, hopefully this one will get some decent exposure.

Wow... I'm so far behind you guys I really just can't do the fighting system, I'm relying on luck and button bashing (which is actually working pretty well) I'm actually really stuck on the bit where you have to ride the hauler around the cavern, I have no idea where I'm supposed to be going.

We've got a DSL connection using a router, but for some bizarre reason, the router keeps disconnecting itself from the adsl line and Windows says something about a limited connection. I don't know a lot about LANs and all this, anyone have any ideas?

Well the only real error message I got was 'Unknown problem'. Which is as much help as a drunk monkey. It just keeps timing out at random sites. It might just be a bad line or something. I really have no idea.

I'm gonna have to say 'none of the above' and go with the GBA SP. I've got the gold Zelda one, its so pretty! And Minish Cap is easily in my top three Zelda games ever (The other two being Majora's Mask and LttP) The battery life is spot-on and you can get so many good games for it now. And I think its been the top-selling machine this Christmas, we're selling about five a day Compared to two Xboxes a day and about two GCNs a week.

I love the Dreamcast, but the really good games are really hard to find, or have pretty decent ports to other consoles, like Grandia II.

Gods, I'm full of stupid questions this month

Anyway, my PC needs a reinstall of XP pretty bad. But I've lost my CD. I've still got the product code and everything just not the actual disk. Can I borrow someone else's XP Home disk and use my product code or do I have to use my original CD?

Religion only bothers me when people use it as an excuse to hate me, thankfully people like that are few and far between

I'm my own religion, I'm Taoist in a way but I believe in elemental Gods, and that the Tao is woven by a Goddess, and I worship Her, kinda. It's hard to explain... I just sat outside one day listening to the world and this is what I came up with.

Powerman 5000 - Last Night On Earth

Its on Smackdown vs Raw and its pretty good. Poor Spider's starting to sound older though. Its better than Transform, but lacks the soul of Tonight The Stars Revolt! Worth a listen though.

Game companies don't make any money from pre-owned games, but I should think they recognise that the used game market is a pretty big part of the industry. I haven't played an emulator for ages. Most old games are getting remade or rereleased now so I buy them instead, like the Shining Force GBA port.

I work (nearly) full time in a games retail store. It's pretty cool, I get discount and I can borrow used games for a week. I really want to work my way up the ladder and run my own store someday, or be a rep for a publisher because all the reps that come see us really look like they enjoy themselves.

Actually the black ones were refitted too, any PS2 with a built in IR reciever has an upgraded laser inside. And in theory, you shouldn't have problems with an upright machine if you use a stand. Its 'supposed' hold the Cd in place.
