Yeah, this thing is looking great. I'm glad u decided to not rush it.

You think at any point you will make a hack that allows you to pull up plants? I know seeing the plants on Mario Adventure wetted my appetite for something like that.

Ha ha. Critisizing animated screenshots instead of the game. That's a new one.

Uh, I think the hack is great. But you forgot to add the "I am the wind" theme to the end of the game.

Ok, I played this game thru a few levels now. It really is a great hack. I have to hand it to you. The new sprites keep things fresh. The higher jump is a subtle touch, but perfectly implimented. You don't even notice it after a while.

I have a Castlevania hack I made some time back. All the levels are done but I'm touching up the graphics. This hack is inspiring me to pick that up again.

Here's a graphics hack I did some time back. I kind of lost interest in it as of late but I thought I'd pass it on to those that are interested. I found that each level had it's own unique tiles used for the levels sprites but they pretty much cut and pasted the same tiles level to level. So I changed all those tiles so each level would come off looking unique to one another. It spruces up the game alot more and makes it a bit more fun to play thru then it was in it's original state. I also tried changing the japanese text to english. But I havent' rearranged the letters to make them into words.

Since I quit working on the hack some time ago there are a few graphics glitches here and there, but what is finished I am satisfied with. If anyone wants to pick this up and finish it off that would be cool.

This ips patch should be applied to the japanese version of the game. I hacked this version because it has a battery backup rather than the password feature of the us version. You should be able to find this rom under the name of Akumajou_Dracula_-_Shikkokutaru_Zensoukyoku_(J)_. That is the name I found it under at Emu-russia that is.

Great, keep up the good work. I had been meaning to make a level mod but never got around to it. I was wondering if Chameleon was in SNES bversion. I saw he was in Genesis version.

If u find anythinig else interesting be sure to post up some more codes.

BTW, do you have the latest version of Gens? That has a pro action replay code finder. You could perhaps use that to make those savestate values into codes.

You can also go upside down in one of the levels in Super Mario Advance 4. It sounds like it should be a fun hack.

Good looking hack. But when is someone gonna put that ex WWE wrestler in there. Why stop there. make a whole team of ex wrestlers. Hulk hogan can finally reunite with Mr. T. Team up Owen Hart and Bret hart too. Damn that'd be sweet.

Um, another glitch in the hack u made ds was the toad feet sticking out of kirby when u wind a championship. Be nice if u fixed that assuming u make any more versions of the hack. It was a great hack. My bro played this game to death.

I recall someone saying "The main Acclm website should remove any links to the board". Pretty much to keep the board from growing and being known by select few. That pretty much would be a fitting description of a "elitist".

Anyway, my Rom Hacking wish list is to have colorized versions of mario land 1-3. I know there is a gb colorizer, but it only gives you 4 shades of color. I think from there you would have to do some asm or something and recolor each tile. Pretty time consuming I imagine.

There are completed hacks of the 1st 2 sonic games. I especially like that Sonic 2 Long version. It has all the regular levels, but it also gots unseen but talked about levels (Wood, Hidden Palace, Winter, Dust Hill zones). I also have tried a few Sonic 1 hacks. I like the one that gives you a spin dash, it ain't perfect but its still pretty cool.

I think that if someone were to make a SML2 editor they should have some kinda option to colorize the thing. And choose your colors. Well, that's my wish anyway.

Another thing I was wishing for was a Hack to turn Mario land 3 to a mario game instead of wario. The sprites for wario are a little wider than a mario land 2 sprite. So you couldnt really switch with that. Pretty much have to redraw wario.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever done a super mario 1 hack where they just change the graphics to Mario 2 or 3 without doing anythign else. Like adding new leevels or whatever. I'd like to retry these games with those style graphics.

Well, Im more into playing Special edition of games that I have rather than all new levels and things. Thats why I bought the gba rereleases. Cause its the same game I know and love, just with extra features.

Plus I've always wanted to see how SMB1 looks with some SMB3 gfx isntead.

Or maybe just a small bit of asm to remove the option to select 2 players.

Actually, you could just color Player 2 black and call him shadow.

I am. When I first opened the program it showed up liike any other program. But for some reason whenever I open it now it wont show up on screen. You can see it on the task bar tho. Like its running. Anyone got any ideas what is causing this and how I can fix it? It's the only program that seems to do it.

Here's a rom hack I'd been wishing for along time but never seen anyone make it. So I kinda took matters into my own hands. I always thought it would be nice if SML1 was given more advanced detailed gfx. The sprites are pretty small so theres only so much you can do with the given space but I'm proud of what I've done so far. I've only completed the 1st world so far. You will notice the enemies are rearranged somewhat. I attatched this to another hack someone made that rearranged the enemies. So credit goes to that person for that aspect, whoever he is.

Yes, I agree with Dr. Mario. That's the kind of hack I'm wanting. You know, I want a Mario hack thats just about mario. I know theres alot of graphic hacks but alot of them are either joke hacks, or they turn mario into someone else. One that updates his graphics such as the graphics show is what I want.

Ya, I can't even draw a line around the goombas heads cause it would obscure most of the face. His graphic is only One Tile Big!

I made a few FCEU codes for this game and got codes that will change what level you enter. It messes up where you can move on the map so this code is pretty much for fun only. Also, when you finish the level you appear in the map location where you would normally exit when you exit that level. Say if you use a code to enter a forest of illusion level you will appear in the forset of illusion world map when you finish the level.
