| "You got it. And I have a better idea, anyway..." Tuxydon arms his Ice Slinger Crossbow. "As soon as they attack, I fire at will and you speed up the shots to sound-breaking velocity. Think you can do that? The energy that flowed into you from Alpha Omega Mending should last you a long, long time, and normally I wouldn't ask anyone to pull something like this off, but you should be able to get this right. I mean, I'm talking about the speed of sound here! "Here they come... Be ready..." Tuxydon crouches and aims. He fires one shot at Nino and one at Stacie after their next attack, no matter what it is. OOC: That means you, my pally-pal Dracoon, need to pretend you can't see the future. | OOC: Good point about the fire and ice, but notice they did hit the foe in different spots. That might make some difference, ya know... Allaura can't move, but Ex gets a telepathic message from her. "Your attack was even better than you thought. You launched one of the most poisonous weeds at me and it connected, and now I'm paralyzed. But this is a spar, and it was fair and square, so feel free to hit me with your hardest while I'm down, or charge up, or something. I was only nicked, so I should be moving again in a minute or so." Allaura obviously doesn't understand the nature of Ex's split personality. |

| OOC: Yes, but the Sine Wave field isn't ground-based, it's an air-based force field that continually damages and absorbs data from foes inside, and I also did mention that Yiusi's sweeping the beam constantly toward Sanigen should he try to move out of the way. And about the priest... You could attack him, but if you do that I'd probably get the onlookers directly involved in the fight. It may be interesting, but risky for both of us (you because the battle gets harder, me because I have to write like an ace to keep the plot of the battle perfectly balanced). Yiusi stops firing the force field and releases a thin, white beam of compressed Oracle energy, aimed at the chunk of ceiling. The beam pierces through it and heads on a direct course toward Sanigen. Should it hit, it would do heavy damage (actually it would do medium damage, but with all the data the Oracle energy absorbed it's much stronger now) to the target, but it would NOT absorb any data (since it's compressed). The beam split the rock into smaller rocks, which each pelted the prism for partial damage. The prism looks damaged, that's for sure-- it's an orangeish-yellow in color. |

| The instant Snipes pulls out his pistol, Tuxydon is doing a double-frontflip over Snipes, barely evading the pistol fire. As he arcs over Snipes, he whips out three combusting throwing knives and chucks them down at Snipes in half-second intervals. As soon as he lands, one of the pistol shots nails him and he flies back a few feet, landing on the ground, motionless. He doesn't get up. |

| Without getting up or turning over, Tuxydon speaks to Snipes. "Snipes, my main man.... Nice battle. You won, fair and square. You survived everything I threw at you... but, I can't... say the same ting for myself... "I'll be fine, just unconscious for a while. Take this." He slowly holds his hand out and places a gold ring on the ground next to him, with three rubies infused into it and an orangish-gold glow surrounding it. "It's a Pheonix Ring. I made it myself. Offers fire resistance and extra speed, lasts 100 years. Never let it get wet." And with that, he falls unconscious. Snipes has won the spar. Nice going, victor, and be sure to take the Pheonix Ring with you... OOC: Excellent fight! I look forward to future fights with you, and next time I'll be using Schwa himself, so be ready! |

| A telepathic message strikes the mind of UWilliam like the sound of metal scraping metal. "Okay, new Fearless Leader, I have a job for you pal!" Within seconds, a wavering figure has materialized in front of the recently promoted SB Local Mod. It's Schwa, complete with white, robelike cothes and a jet-black blindfold. "Listen, I've just about had it up to here with some of the activity going on recently!" Schwa hands UWilliam some photos. They are of many different kinds of sleek robots, the ones that call themselves "Ultra Navis." "Fortissmo.EXE. Sigma.EXE. Juno.EXE. And many others it seems. They think they can barge their way into any thread, godmod, control the actions of others, decide if their attacks hit or not... Should I continue? Oh, and don't forget that I have a hunch that they could be the very same person! "If you're our new Fearless Leader, prove it by investigating these cases. I know one of my friend's fights, Tuxydon vs. Snipes, was invaded by one of these posters. Check there if you will, it's labeled "Snipes looking for a battle". | OOC: Oh yeah! I could use this to advance Yiusi's personal storyline. Thanks, man! Everyone gasps in horror! Very quickly and quietly, the Priest prays, "Kyr'Sheibewithme." (Kyr'Shei be with me.) And Yiusi is struck with fear. If she attacks, Sanigen may strike down and destroy an Oracle Temple High Priest, and it would be her fault. But should she surrender? Should she just give up? "What do you want?" Yiusi's voice speaks to Sanigen. She completely doesn't know what to do. 5 turns before they unmerge. |

OOC:  Drama! Woo hoo! But actually Allaura was laying face-down. I should've mentioned that.Red ether automatically flares up when Ex strikes, but it doesn't decrease the damage of the attack, it just prevents any cuts or bone-crushing. Paralyzed, Allaura doesn't show the pain by any means of sound, and furthermore she's open to another attack for one more turn. The key difference: Crimson Bubble has finished recharging. Allaura has a good idea of Ex's general direction, and without being able to look, she kinetically readies all 3 ether spheres to strike when Ex does. With the 3 spheres and Crimson Bubble in place, Allaura hopes to turn the tide somewhat given her dire circumstances. |

| OOC: I forget which Megaman game this boss is from, if it is from one. "MOUSE!" Schwa instantly goes into a fighting stance. "Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa launches his signature attack by bringing his arms apart and drawing an arc of light in front of him, then firing the arc at the mouse. It homes in on the target, and if it hits it'll do pretty good Holy/Psychic damage (average for a special attack, that is). (This attack also does extra damage if the foe is Evil, has Evil emotions or thoughts at time of hit, or is an Evil-type of creature (demons, undead, etc.)) The Air Elemental fires a normal thunderbolt aimed at the mutant mouse's eyes, fired 3 seconds after Alpha Psibeam hit or missed the mark. |

| While Ex prepares, Allaura begins to get up from the ground, slowly. Red ether flares around her hands as she does, and her movements are shaky. Though the main paralysis has worn off pretty much, she'll be a bit floppy for the rest of the fight, and a lot less nimble. The 3 spheres don't move quite yet, as Ex hasn't struck yet. "Interesting. I feel highheaded... I mean lightheaded," she says, a little slurred. |

| OOC: Never beat Megaman 8. NEVER seen this Boss. This will be interesting. "Okay, THAT'S more like it. I can fight another bot." Schwa doesn't know the nature of this advanced enemy. "To start... Gyrowell Advance!" (echo effects) Schwa throws ribbons of ether all over the room, and the fancy light effects come together in the center of the room and materialize into a rotating white ball of energy. The ball is an artificial Gravity Well, and anything except Schwa and the Air Elemental (including Schwa's attacks) are pulled toward the well for as long as it's active. It's an easy force to resist, but usually makes it a great deal harder to attack AND resist the pull, and since attacks are pulled in as well (lightly) this GravWell could either help or hinder either fighter. The Elemental fires a thunderbolt towards the Well, and it curves under the sphere and up towards Penguin Bell with a bit higher Attack Power and velocity. The gravity increased it's speed and compression, making it a more productive attack! |

| The Crimson Bubble, the 3 spheres, and Allaura's half-paralysis are neutralized. "Wow, Ex, you sure take this sparring seriously. Not a bad thing, mind you. 'Sides, what was I supposed to expect from Ex Lightheart?" True, Schwa had earlier told Allaura that it was Lightheart she was fighting. She never did learn the truth. "You are Lightheart, aren't you?" She almost forgets to attack, but remembers. "Psi Arrow!" (echo effects) Red light gathers at Allaura's hands, and a thin red beam is fired in a pulse at Ex. The beam would do pretty good damage if it hit and would pierce non-physical defenses, but unlike Schwa's Alpha Psibeam it only goes in a straight line, not homing in. |

| OOC: Have a better idea. Let's see if I can make some Schwa magic work in the below post... *sigh* Here goes! "Ex!" Allaura runs up. She notices herself quite injured from the fight, but she doesn't care right now. She kneels by Ex's tattred body and prays to Kyr'Shei. "Oracle Lord, Kyr'Shei... She will die soon. What will happen to her?" Half to Allaura's surprise, she gets a telepathic reply. Kyr'Shei echoes his telepathic response to Allaura and Ex's unconscious spirit, so she can hear it too. "Allaura, it is I. You have treated Ex with respect and kindness, and I will see what I can do for this child. She has been given an incredible challenge in her life that she is forced to live with, but she is determined and kind-hearted. She is definitely an ally of the Oracles and the Psi Warriors. "Here's my idea. The reason Ex is dying is because her Oracle energies and Dark energies are intersecting and ripping her apart. If she were to come to the Oracle Haven, the atmosphere would neutralize the intersecting forces by making the Oracle-half the dominant force. However, the stability would only hold if she were to stay in the Oracle Haven. If she were to leave, the two forces in her would collide again until she came back into the Haven. It would still be possible to exist in the Material Plane for at least half a year at most without dying, but she would then have to come back to the Oracle Haven to restore herself. "From her unconscious state, Ex can still hear this message. Ex, if you choose to come to the Oracle Haven, you may tell me with your will. You still have will from your current state, you know. I'll teleport you here if you will it, but if you do not wish to come here I won't force a thing. You may die soon if you don't, but it's your choice..." Allaura talks to Ex with her own telepathy. "Don't feel pressured, child. Trust your judgement and choose of your own free will. Whatever you decide, I'll keep you in my hopes and dreams..." Allaura, from her kneeling position, and Kyr'Shei from where he stands in Oracle Haven, listen silently for Ex's will, holding their breaths... |

| OOC: Oh, I remember this Boss! I always thought it was an elephant, not a penguin. Yeah, it took a HELLUVA lot of work to KO that freakin' baddie when I went at it with him in MM8. Also, the Gravity Well may make the falling weights and projectiles move toward it a little bit. "Holy cow, where'd it-- EEK!!" Schwa dives out of the way of the Crusher, avoiding it. He gets up as fast as possible, only to be confronted with a volley of missiles. He fires energy rings at the missiles, but they're close to him by the time they explode and Schwa takes small damage from the explosion. The Air Elemental surrounds itself in a cone of electricity, making the missiles do a bit less damage to it when they hit it. The Elemental keeps the cone around itself for a moment and absorbs it, charging it's energy for it's next attack. Schwa breathes hard. "This ain't right! How the heck am I going to hit the bloody thing? Ah well, better prepare myself... GravBoost Aura!" (echo effects) Gold ether coats the ground for a moment and gathers together, forming a gold circle 24 feet in diameter. Schwa or the Elemental's Agility will be beefed as long as they stay in the circle, and the circle lasts for quite a while before expiring. Schwa has placed the circle right in the center of the fighting area. |

| Allaura takes off her grey blindfold and stares at the Ex creature, hard. "A name that says your true self..." There is a long pause. Then, with a smile... "Friend. That's who you are, that's what you are, that's what I knew you as since I met you." Allaura waves her hand in a quick circle, and two crystal discs materialize nearby. One has red ether around it, one has dark-silver ether. "That silver-coated disc will take you anywhere in the universe, literally. It emits an aura that allows one to survive the vaccuum of space, even. And it's all yours... because I accept you as a companion. It is the destiny of a true Psi Warrior to fight Evil in any place and form... But this is your battle, not mine. That means it's even more important for me to help you, because everybody has a destiny, and everybody has an obligation to fill it... It is an incredible honor to help a pure spirit like you fulfill her destiny. "So that's it! Let's go, Friend... to Crystal Psipalace, HQ of the Psi Warriors. I need to report there before heading off again, and heal and such, and you should meet Sensae, too... He's an amazing man." Allaura steps on her Crystal Disc, and it begins to levitate. "Ready?" | OOC: Hello, fellow role-players and onlookers... Every once in a while, in the RP universe, great ideas come. But the best ideas come from when two excellent writers join forces... such as this current happening. Zerodius and I have, through Sim-Battling and some creative writing, opened the gateway to an excellent, brand new RP... one that may last a long time. Ladies and gentlemen, Zerodius and I give you: Friendly Anomaly, the story of a long lasting friendship and a great deal of adventure. This story takes place immediately after the SB "Courage and Honor". Check the other forum for details. It is a treat to the Psi Warrior universe... The RP is mainly about Allaura the Psi Warrior and Friend, the half-Oracle Ex creature, who have become companions, and their various adventures. However, from the sounds of it, this RP will have quite a few sub-plots going at once, because anything your characters do can add to the adventure. Schwa will make a few appearances, as will the Crystal Psipalace, but they aren't the center of attention here... Keep the following in mind: Friend has only a small amount of time to live, because she is half-Oracle and half-darkness and the opposite forces are hurting her. She has been given a chance to live, and that is to go to the Oracle Haven where the Oracle-half of her would be the dominant force. She has decided to go under one condition: First she must conquer her alter-ego, a twisted, war-loving version of herself. That's why she has become Allaura's travelling companion, so she can learn what it takes to overcome Evil, and that's how she has been introduced to the Psi Warrior world. As Allaura and Friend travel together, take part in this RP with your own ideas of adventure in mind! I (and I believe Zerodius as well, correct me if I'm wrong) favor sub-plots, at least this time (as long as you don't overdo it). The plots can merge and seperate at any time if the circumstances are right... keep that in mind, too. And with that said, here we go! (If Zerodius has anything to add, please do Zero. I hope I didn't leave anything out...) It is getting late in the afternoon, when two streaks of ether, one bright red and one dark silver, are seen streaking above the grey clouds. The red streak leads the way to a destination, miles in the sky... Before them, glowing blue and sparkling like the most beaurtiful thing in the world, floats a marvelous palace made of purified, azure crystal. It's a huge building, with several runways near the base and several balconies up above, columns of pearl-colored and azure crystal and marble, and a large cone of the purest, almost transparent crystal at the very top-- the pinnacle of the palace, where a great ball of rainbow light, the Dimmensional Core which keeps the palace floating and holy, floats over the whole palace, illuminating it with rainbow colors and blue rays of shining light. The building is Crystal Psipalace, the headquarters of the embodyments of Good, the Psi Warriors. Even some of the Psi Warriors can't get over the beauty of this building at night. Allaura is one of them. Allaura is actually the red streak of ether flying towards one of the runways near the bottom of Crystal Psipalace. Behind her, the dark-silver streak closely follows... That one is Friend; an Ex-creature, half-Oracle. Friend and Allaura are companions, and that order has come to be only a few minutes ago. In the events that took place before they joined forces, Allaura had met Friend, formerly known just as Ex (but not Ex Lightheart) on a turtle-shaped island that had been imported from somewhere. They then headed to a marshland to help Schwa, also a Psi Warrior, fight a demon called Virtuos, who escaped before Schwa could defeat it. Schwa advised Allaura to spar with Ex, thinking it was Ex Lightheart and not, in reality, a brand-new prototype of Ex with half-Oracle genes. They sparred, and eventually Ex's alter-ego, a cruel version of herself, took over. After the fighting subsided, Ex had nearly died, and Kyr'Shei, the Oracle Lord, offered her the chance to come to Oracle Haven, where her Oracle-half would become the dominent force and prevent her from dying. But Ex decided to stay in the Material Plane and vow to conquer her alter-ego before coming to the Oracle Haven. Ex asked to join forces with Allaura and for Allaura to think of a new name for Ex. Allaura decided Friend, as Ex was a pure child that fit the name. Allaura lands in the runway and sends a telepathic message to Friend on her way down. "You're going to need to land.
