This thing is awesome. You can tell that Jhonen set up the whole thing for a few reasons: The little faces at the top of the aisles, his puppet is actually in the video, and Jhonen admits and endorces fantasizing about killing people! ^^ Totally awesome! ^^

I'd like a Nano, but I have money issues right now, so it's not going to happen. :-/

#2 - KSnapshot, I believe. Unless you use Gnome. Then you can go die. (j/k. Still... don't use gnome.)
#3 - YAST. Search for it. Select it. Hit "Apply Changes" or something to that effect. It will do the rest on it's own. (Havn't used it in a while, so I forget all it's terminology.)
#4 - You don't NEED to defrag. Linux ACTUALLY puts things back where it finds it. Unlike OTHER operating systems. Scandisk automatically happens approximately every 20 - 30 mounts. Mount is when you have the operating system recognise the drive. It probably would be 20 - 30 bootups.

I dunno how to solve your number one at the moment. Have fun!

The XBox DVD-Rom drive has some sort of odd connecter to power it. Does anyone know of any tutorials on how to convert it into a molex connecter? You know: Like which wires go where and stuff?

1. I'm too poor to buy a DVD-Rom drive.
2. I have a broken XBox. The hard drive is toast.
3. An XBox DVD-Rom drive would be cool.

I've asked on an xbox forum. I've searched Google. I can't find anything... >>

Haha. Yeah right. I used my XBox to power the DVD-Rom drive as I had the IDE cable in my computer. It WORKED. Just using the XBox to power the DVD-Rom drive all the time when the XBox needs a TV or it will automatically turn off is a little annoying.

No. Windows is garbage. I'm telling you that it was detected by LINUX and is able to reaed DVD's.

Read the post man. I want to rewire the DVD power connecter to molex. In case you didn't know, Molex is the standard power connecter for hard drives, cd rom drives, and dvd-rom drives. If it was molex, I would be able to put it in my computer without my xbox, TV, and PC right next eactother. And xbox-scene says that an xbox DVD-Rom doesn't work on Windows. It works on Linux, though.

Posted on 10-10-05 08:40 AM, in Teacher's Strike In British Columbia, Canada. Link
Has anyone been following this? The government has been lying to the teachers about wages and imposing contracts on them. When the teachers go on strike, they are told that striking is illegal because teaching has been declared and "essential service". The general public is looking down on the teachers because the teachers are "breaking the law", but the problem is that it violates international law to make anything that doesn't risk the life of others an essential service, but the news doesn't even want to dare say that the Canadian government is breaking the law. What are you guys's thoughts on this?
