| Hey, the NES is WAY better than the SNES, people... Has a more classic feel to it. SMB3 wins over SMW any day, especially by music. There were only a few bad things about SMB3, one of which was the rarity of Hammer Suits... I tell you, if there were more of those things in that game I'd go to town! Besides, I think it's more fair to compare SMW with the Super Mario All Stars version of SMB3. |

| "I missed!!? No way! Rrr... I've still got some fight left in me..." Kaz attempts a Rocket Tackle, a moment too late... The Lizard Bros. arleady managed to whip up a Sonic Tornado, and Kaz has foolishly afterburnered directly in the center! The fierce, fast-moving attack knocks him SEVEN times from all sides before knocking him far into the background, whee he smashes against the canyon wall with incredible velocity. Immediately boulders fall on him, burying him alive (for now)... then more boulders start slipping. In 12 seconds, a huge rockslide has started and is heading towards the bridge. It's tall enough to cover this bridge and will probably destroy it! However, Kaz is down. The Lizard Bros. excellent teamwork had given them the cutting edge to defeat this combo-master. That doesn't help the rockslide any, though... OOC: Ah, maybe the Round Clear emblem was a little much, eh? Still, great battle! I have to challenge you again sometime. |

| Here's a tough question... it involves the 'Puts Item in Treasure Chest' sprite and the Coin Ship. Obviously that sprite doesn't appear in the Boss Room of the Coin Ship, but the Exit on Get Treasure Chest one does. That also automatically puts a Treasure Chest on the screen after every enemy is felled. What I want to do is make it so the Coin Ship gives you a Whistle for beating it, not a Star. I believe it's a matter of just changing the right byte address, but it's not like I know how to do any serious offset hunting or anything... This is important, too, because the Whistle is going to not be found anywhere in my entire game except the Coin Ship. That way it's pretty much random involving getting it or not. | OOC: Way to go... a genuine elite battle of titans. Good luck, I expect you to fight with your all... This first attack doesn't count as part of the battle, it's just part of the storyline and should be dodged or defended against w/o affecting Ghost's stamina in any way. Also, though two characters show up, one will soon leave. A sparkling sound disrupts the silence, followed by... "Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) "Psi Arrow!" (echo effects) A male then female voice yells the name of an attack respectively. Instantly, from the darkness, an arc of lavender/silver Holy-Psychic energy, followed by a crimson arrow of energy, rushes toward Ghost. The two figures wait until the attack hits or is avoided/blocked (OOC: which should probably be so) before showing themselves. After a small pause, a teenage male, wearing white, loose clothes, a black blindfold and fists flaring with pure etheral energy approaches. Behind him, barely visible, is a teenage girl, also in white, loose clothes, but her blindfold is grey, her hair is in a ponytail and the ether around her fists is a red-orange. The male figure stares at Ghost, a firey confidence in his eyes. "Schwa, this is it..." the girl telepathically tells him (only Schwa can hear it)... "This is real battle. Don't mess up." "Allaura, I can handle this. Head back to Crystal Psipalace and send me your energy from there with the other Psi Warriors." Allaura then nods, and steps out of the room. Schwa takes one more step forward toward Ghost and says aloud, "I am Schwa. Tell me your alignment and do NOT lie." |

| Schwa has his eyes closed the entire time Ghost circles him. At last he speaks. "I am Schwa, the Psi Warrior. I am an assassin against ALL forms of Evil, equipped and empowered by the most powerful forces in existance-- the Living Assets, Virtue, Respect and Honor. Watch." Schwa holds hs right arm up, and blue ether coats the entire thing, flaring up BRILLIANTLY. It lights the entire shrine up with a very bright blue light. After maybe 7 seconds, the ether flares down to just coat his fist again. "That's pure Holy energy, my foe. Holyness is the ultimate weapon against the Undead. We've been watching you... Ghost... from Crystal Psipalace, since the moment you arose from your resting place. Sensae can detect ALL Undead on this planet automatically. And guess what he did?" Suddenly, Schwa thrusts his hands forward, and a vortex of ether fills the room. It weaves around but never touches Ghost. "He sent ME to intercept you before you became too powerful." The ether turns crimson! "And I WILL accomplish my mission. You will not exist after I finish tangoing with you." The ether disappears entirely. "Ghost... I have never met a Good Undead creature; you are no exception. No matter how good you are at battle... it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to defeat a Psi Warrior. "But that's enough talk... You have 10 seconds to tell me what you're thinking, then I kill you. Enjoy." Schwa doesn't feel at all intimidated by Ghost... In reality he is actually underestimating his foe-- a BIG mistake for a Psi Warrior, and very unhonorable. But Schwa is very competitive and can't entirely help it... He's also under the impression that one hit will KO Ghost... That's PROBABLY not the case, but ya never know...  |

Good luck. A telepathic message later... "Kensi... My my my... An outcast warrior, bored as long as he's not in combat. That's a shame." There is a pause, then another message... "I have been watching you, Kensi. Fear not, I am merely an ally with psychic ability. Look up." Meanwhile, a streak of sky-blue ether is visible in the sky above... The ether is coating a figure flying through the air in some way or another, but that's all that can be made out. |

| Schwa looks down. "Just great... The floor is coated again JUST after the Glider lost stamina." Schwa stares at the floating, metallic eye. "I can take ANYthing you dish out at me. I found your weakness!" Schwa thinks, "So the slime seems to conduct electricity better. Wonder if I could use that to my advantage?" Schwa quickly lowers his altitude, concentrates, and a large thunderbolt is fired straight down at the slime-coated floor. Schwa hopes that by doing this, an electrical current will spread over the whole floor and damage all other robots with a small electric shock. As long as they're all kept busy at once, Schwa can handle this. But it's getting harder for him to maintain the shape of the Glider. |

| "Something's wrong," Schwa thinks. "Most Undead wouldn't act this way... Maybe I'm mistaken about him..." Schwa suddenly recieves a telepathic message directly from Sensae. "Remember that you are a very black and white thinker." Schwa stops short. "Wha? What the hell was THAT supposed to mean?" Schwa doesn't let his thoughts show much. He says to Ghost, "Okay. I haven't quite figured you out yet, but you can't be hardly a challenge for a Psi Warrior. Not YOU." Schwa begins battle! "Okay then! I'll handle you defensively. Go, Oracle Spirit Splicing Trick!!" Schwa pulls off his sneakiest technique early... Schwa flashes red four times, each time damaging himself slightly. And with each flash, a blue, etheral wisp of light appears by Ghost. Soon there are four blue wisps; they circle slowly around Ghost, never adding or reducing their distance from him. But they don't really do much more than that... "Attack me now, I dare you," Schwa challenges, giving the 'Bring it on' hand motion toward his foe... |

| From the air, it looks like the figure and the ether streak had seperated... and the figure was falling to the ground... True. Schwa had jumped off his flying Crystal Disc and dissolved his protective armor, and is at a freefall toward the forest ground. He soon lands at a crouch in front of Kensi, perfectly unharmed. It's amazing how that's possible to jump so far without being hurt. The figure, Schwa, wears white, loose clothes and a jet-black blindfold over his eyes. His fists flare with pure etheral energy. "I am Schwa, Psi Warrior and embodyment of Good. Nice to meet you. Do not be afraid, I would never seriously hurt a guy if that person wasn't Evil. By reading your mind, I can tell that you're not at all Evil. "So you want to spar? I knew it! Sensae told me to find you as you'd be the perfect opportunity to make us both stronger. I'd love to spar with you." Schwa does one backflip and lands maybe 24 feet away from Kensi, fighting stance assumed. "I'll let you strike first. But remember, I play more defensively than offensively. There's your hint." |

| Schwa pauses, then... "Here it comes, William... Lightning Dash!" (echo effects) The elemental is suddenly surrounded in a perfect cone of electricity, as it streaks toward William at a supersonic speed for an electricity-based buffet! The attack by itself does good damage, about average for a special attack-- what makes this so dangerous is the high damage the foe would recieve if the attack managed to slam him against the wall. If the attack hits, Schwalemental would streak bacward back to the position he was at before-- if he missed, he'd be behind William. |

| Schwa thinks, "So he hesitates to attack. Wonder if he knows the secret of the wisps? I better force him to counter." "C'mon, you scared to attack or what? Gyrowell Advance!!" (echo effects) Schwa thrusts one hand forward, and blue ether pours out and gathers into a sphere in the center of the room. Then the ball transforms into a blue glob of peculiar energy, which is rotating-- and pulling all things toward it with a small gravitational force except Schwa. Ghost should find it easy to resist this gravity pull, but it's meant to throw off the balance of the foe and projectiles a tad. "The more you hesitate, the harder it'll be to hit me," Schwa syas. But inside he thinks, "What am I doing? I should be completely anniahlating him! I forgot not to take it easy." |

| Like lightning, Schwa's arms, coated in brilliant blue ether, go up to block the beam. The ether, of course, absorbs the damage and Schwa takes only a tiny portion of the blow. "Remember, I haven't used my energy up... we just started. Now I'll attack YOU. Alpha Psibeam!" (echo effects) Schwa holds his arms up and together, then brings them down to his sides slowly. This forms an arc of silver psi energy in front of him, drawn from his hands. Then Schwa points directly at Kensi, and the arc flies at him! The attack isn't nearly as fast as Ryu Slash, but it homes in on the foe unceasingly, as it is locked on to the foe's spirit for a sure hit. If it hits directly, this attack does good damage (a little over melee damage as it is a Special Attack) plus extra damage if the foe is Evil (which it's not, in this case) or experiencing a negative emotion at time of hit. "That, my friend, is beyond even YOUR capabilities." |

| OOC: Audience members are just fine, (Ronald), as long as they don't directly interfere with battle. Remember that. And try making your posts more detailed, will ya? "Excellent!" Schwa compliments. "That was a good defense. Now try melee." Schwa dashes toward Kensi, and, upon reaching melee distance, blinks out of existance! In reality, he has not teleported; this is his Speed Burst trick. In half a second, he has managed to dart behind the foe, strike to the back, and dart in front again. This attack borrows slightly from attack power to add to the speed burst, so the melee attack is a little weaker than most. |

| Schwa smiles. "Hmhm..." With Gyrowell's effect, Schwa jumps out of the way of the first Ball, and as the second Ball comes close, Schwa purposefully dives in the way of the attack. His ether-coated fists go up to block, but the effect of the attack damages and surprises him. "Whoa! Your attacks penetrate defense AND are blocked by defense at the same time! Whoa-ho, this'll be quite an interesting mutation..." At this, one of the wisps surrounding Ghost activates! After scanning Ghost with a small, harmless beam, it begins to grow and change shape and texture... In 6 seconds, the Wisp has mutated into quite a strange creature; it's a blue jack-O-lantern with blue fire burning inside and dark red, glowing eyes. "Hm, indeed! You managed to mutate a Ghastly Pumpkin. Quite peculiar really, as it has a devestating version of the attack you just used on me. Man, I wonder what it's stats are?" Ghastly Pumpkin (counts as a summoned creature) turns and faces Ghost, grinning evilly. Worse, there are still three Wisps left... Schwa dashes in between Ghost and Gyrowell, firing a small barrage of weak energy rings (Holy/Psychic damage) toward Ghost during his run. He tries to get behind Ghost so Ghastly Pumpkin is on one side while Schwa's on the other. |

| OOC: It's true, Kire... It's completely fair given Zerodius made that fact perfectly clear in the beginning... which he did. I'm going with his side. Korra and Ami stare at this disagreement of physics for a while, which is quite interesting to watch. He would've been smashed with the Counter if not for Kire's block, which may or may not have cost him his weapon in the process... Nevertheless, they don't hold back. Korra fires the 3rd and final Shard Flurry bomb directly at the two close fighters, which should explode 6 feet away from them. After this, Korra's cannon changes back into a hand, as it is out of ammo. "They sure do quarrel obnoxiously, Ami... Hope that'll refocus their attention." |

| "Indirect? Oh, sorry! I forgot I had to utterly destroy you with one shot. How unhonorable of me!" After Schwa's nose-thumbing comment, he switches to a fighter stance as Ghost makes his move. His ether-coated fists go up to block the blade... JUST as it passes through him... and just as Ghost makes his behind-swing! Schwa turns his head at the last second, giving him the "benefit" of being slashed across the eyes... which slices off his blindfold! " *gasp* OhmyGOD..." Schwa managed to get that in from the floor, as the blade slashed him to the floor. Sure, some ether went up around his eyes, but that didn't decrease any damage, all it did was prevent a cut, a minor help but that's it. But now Schwa is half-blind... and THEN some... Schwa's 'Psychic Senses' work oddly... Schwa is able to see EVERYTHING ten times clearer, but he can't visually see colors. He can tell what colors things are because he's psychic, but he's still colorblind when he's physically blind. Well not anymore! By removing the blindfold, Schwa sees EVERYTHING in bright colors. It scares him! "Ah! Ghost, how are you DOING this? Stop it!" Schwa does a backflip, still a little unnerved, to get away from Ghost. At the same time, Ghastly Pumpkin open's it's mouth and a Spirit Ball, with attack power 20% higher than Ghost's attack, is fired at Ghost. It's also fired like a pressure cannon in a fast, straight line. AND another Wisp is activating! Ghosts attack on Schwa triggered another Wisp to evolve. This one becomes a blue Praying Mantis, a little taller than Ghastly Pumpkin but not by much, with one huge scythe and one small scythe. The huge scythe is glowng dimly, and the Mantis (Inviso-Mantis) has the ability of phasing through anything at will... just like Ghost did when he attacked Schwa. "So now I have two allies, and soon I will have two more," Schwa mentions. "But these COLORS! They're awful!" |

| "Can't block energy attacks..." Schwa thinks... Schwa does one backflip as the attack comes close to him, then when his hands touch the ground the first time, he turns it into a GREAT frontflip that propells him over the blast. Furthermore, in the air he blasts Kensi with a sphere of Holy/Pshychic energy from his palms (medium damage if it hits). Schwa lands on his feet (unless attacked while he's in midair). "So you can fly now, eh? So can I. Thunder Glider! (echo effects) Schwa waves his hand, and a small, blue cone begins to form in front of him... a small, blue, solid, upside-down, spinning, spark-giving-out cone! Schwa steps on the flat surface and he begins to hover one inch from it. Then the top lifts him into the air, at Kensi's elevation but 18 feet away. "You may use wind, but thunder is stronger. Bring it on!" |

| "Oh my, this is gonna HURT..." There's only one thing for Schwa to do. He tilts the top toward the eye and flies at it... streaking right through the tidal wave (damaging him severely, of course) directly toward the floating eye in an attempt to ram it with the electric object! Whether it was a hit or miss, the top bursts into a small cloud of sparks afterward and Schwa falls to the ground again. He lands on his feet, though. But he immediately falls to a kneel, aching all over. " *pant, pant* Wow, human bodies sure can take a lot... Hope that felt good, robotic freak!" |

Be descriptive next time, at least enough for me to understand what's going on! You need either to edit your post or create another post with the changes in it.
