erm, the Mario Bros. movie was horrible. It's the kind of movie I'd rent if I wanted a laugh. Now part of that bias is that it is just so..... weird and irrelevant to Mario games as I knew them. But part of it is because it's just another craptastic kind of fantasy movie about New York. Ghostbusters satisfied that need for me. I'd also recommend Beowulf with Christopher Lambert as another funny "bad movie".

Maybe he just made all of them that big b/c of the item stats tab, which does apparently need a lot of space. I mean, you can shrink it down, but it does have a lot going on. Can't you pop that sucker into a scrollable container window or something? If anything I would just subdivide it into smaller dialogues that can be brought up with buttons or whatever.

That is the issue here, to knock it til' you've tried it. And if you don't want to try it, be quiet about it and let we who enjoy it do what we want with our bodies.

1. Ancestral peer pressure? omg XD

2. If you talk to any priest, I'm dead certain he would tell you it's not okay. If you want to rationalize your behavior, go ahead. The bible also doesn't mention heroin, crack, ecstasy, etc.

3. I've tried smoked and got high off marijuana more times than I can count. It's not for everyone. In fact, I have grown to loathe it. It does make me feel good, but in a way that is wholly unnatural to my personality. I'd rather just be myself and find other ways to feel good. But I do agree that people who haven't tried it don't have much room to criticize it, other than on generalizations of the people they know that use it.

There's a local store called BuyCo which is really awesome. They sell older systems and accessories, such as Ataris, Nintendos, Snes, Sega, etc. Quite a good selection of games for those systems too. It's also a used record store but I won't hold that against it. It's the very place I got my Super Advantange and my multitap.

For more recent systems I usually just hit up EB b/c it's close. Never go to big stores like Target or Walmart for games. Their selection suckkkkkkkkkkkkks.

Why must you continue the gender divide?

We weren't saying penis we were saying PEANUTS. Btw I learned this game from a girl when I was in high school, and she called Wednesday "Penis Day".

Oh and you misspelled dumb. XD

Why the hell is it such a big issue not to call it marriage? I'll tell you why. B/c you don't think it's as good as a hetero marriage. You'd like it called something different b/c you want to preserve the status quo, where hetero > gay. Calling it "marriage" or "gay marriage" makes you antsy b/c you think it perverts your normal marriage. When you hear that Gary and Larry are 'married' you will shudder. But what else are you going to call it? "Gary and Larry are gayzored!" erm... no probably not. Unioned?

And why do you keep bring this up about religious rights? Tell me how religious rights will be violated citing specific legislation, or government discussions, et cetera.

Heh, reminds me of a time I was in the car with my exgirlfriend's Jewish grandfather. He's a bit senial, so he says whatever's on his mind. I told him I was German when he asked, and he got a little mad, but I explained I had been in America as a family for over 150 years, so my family had nothing to do with all that in Europe. He just said "A German's a German." I wasn't really hurt, but it makes you wonder just how much hatred the Holocaust generated in the Jewish population. Though, of course, not a hatred to rival Hitler's.

edit/addition:
Originally posted by Kitten Yiffer...it's one of thoose moments I wonder how much rosetinted glasses CNN use.

The point, Kitten Yiffer, is that I trust CNN no more than what some random guy says on a message board. For your information I only watch stuff like that maybe once a week for an hour just to get a general idea of what is happening in the world. I would read more online news if I cared enough to, but I don't. Sometimes I watch FST = Free Speech TV which has all kinds of exposes on stuff you normally don't see in the mainstream news. For example, a story on how the US military could have prevented a massacre of ex Talibans but instead gave them up to the mercy of Afghani nationals. (Old story, I know.) But why should I trust that news source just b/c it is different? Why should I trust X newspaper b/c it is different. People like to lie if it benefits them. Like they say, any story has two sides to tell.

You are a blonde. You love attention from the
opposite sex, and just want to have fun. People
often take you for innocent, but you know
what's going on.

The rights are those of religious clergy who are being forced to marry gay couples, apparently. I asked Geeogree to provide some sources but he redirected me to the rest of the thread, (which I had already read). The only examples turned up in his initial blob of a post, and gave nothing specific other than names of provinces where incidents allegedly occurred. But that definitely is an issue, if it's true. I would hope people would agree to that .

Either way, unless you like to hold the hands of your straight male friends, or engage in other PDFs, I doubt anyone would mistake you for a couple . If you're worried about being mistaken for a gay man you must be quite a snazzy dresser and have excellent hair and hygiene. (Stereotypes I know, but in many cases it's true.)

I was just commenting on how this thread exploded into senseless bickering while I was away doing schoolwork this week. My, such a nasty attitude. I don't care about post count. I find it difficult to find more than 3-4 things to post about per day.

Not all posting is on topic. Welcome to Acmlm's. Just so you know, you can blame Lenophis for suggesting to talk about this here. You can expect people to be picky about work here. If you're going to release work to the public you should at least be able to deal with the fact that people are going to find errors in it.

As a side comment, I was just musing over how paradoxical it is that children are bombarded with messages like "Keep an open mind," and "Don't judge a book by its cover," and yet adults are endlessly trying to restrict and place boundaries on society using (truly) arbitrary parameters.

I think you should judge a request for more money on the merits of the request, not the size of the request.

If $87 billion will better accomodate a transition out of Iraq I would not be opposed.
