They killed me, but it took about 3 of them for that since I kept healing with my potions (survived a few minutes) ... and I was confused at first because I didn't know the damage I did to them was red, I thought I wasn't hitting  As for the resolution, that's just the default one, I haven't seen a way to change that  (640x480 display, in 800x600)(edited) Ok, just ran setup.exe ... there we go (edited by Acmlm on 05-19-04 08:09 AM) |

| It works again now ... I'm not going to move away either, as fun as that other server may seem I'm not even pissed off at the guild war and all the Zeny I lost yesterday ... And who's going to take care of the Acmlmers guild if Kwan is gone? Probably me or Colleen since he gave us his password ... is there even a way to change the guild owner? | I'll probably move too. One reason is that certain people (Neo for example  ) made Emuz server alot less fun, I've never met a more stuckup and boring person, ever. And there were some other people that made it less fun too.And this new server got a card seller, you can buy boss cards for 15mil etc, it got other nice npc's too, like card removal npc, warp portal (to specific levels in a dungeon) and alot more. And ofcourse, max level of 255 isn't wrong either. |

| Like what Jizuko said. Plus last night pissed me off so much, what's the point in playing games just to get pissed off. Not to mention that i was in a stupid level grind, and the forumlas made a grand cross crusader so damn weak. Nonetheless, this new server seems fun =) | |||

| Jizuko: I haven't seen Neo on for a good while (and if she's on, she's not that omnipresent), so that's a pretty bad excuse. Kwan, Cyrus: did it come to you that you could suggest things? Setting the max level over 99 is doable, and so is a card seller. Warp portal kills the interesting part of reaching said level, but again, it's doable. Card removal, I don't know. |

| Whenever I do see her, it always seem she likes to press down the value of everyone else. I mean, if you go and say something in the most jokingly way possible, she'll intervine and say something completely serious to kill the mood, unfortunately, I haven't saved any logs that I can show you, since I prefer saving fun logs, not to frame someone. And there's other people that are lame, like Morth/Valermos, the assassin that just go and hide in town and then say "I ASSASISNATIED U OLLOLO" or whatever, I can only take so much lameness. And well, here's a few suggestions then; Online CP. IRC channel. All those npc's I listed. |

| I wish there was an easy way to keep the server up 24/7, but there isn't. eAthena is still not as stable as it should, and the way the char server craps itself doesn't even kill it, otherwise we could test if it's alive and in the negative, restart it. | |||

| I am "migrating" because of the general atmosphere on notro lately. Both on the side of players and GM. And the fact that any suggestion or remark, be it good or bad, has to be shotdown or ridiculed first. I don't like how a certain elite club of players is living in the illusion that whatever they do is justified, no matter how wrong it is, because they're into a mediocre anime a GM enjoys aswell. Or how so many people are twofaced, more than on any other server I've played on. I don't like to hear how certain people get generous ammounts of free items from GMs, whereas being in the ACMLMers guild automatically put you out of that, or any other benefit or normal conversation. That, and my complaints vs someone who violated the rules were ignored, whereas Kwan, Kiwibonga etc were thrown into "prison" because they insulted someone, who had been insulting and/or ignoring them all the time. I am not going to bother to drag anyone anywhere, you pick where you want to play yourself, and so do I. I'm not a patient person, but I think I have been concerning notRO. |

| I'm just going to stick with the fact that newRO is not fun. Most of the community don't like us, and I'm just fed up of it. There couldn't be much to suggest that would lure me back, even if Emuz sets teh exact same settings, we'll be stuck with the same people. Right now I seem to have made a few friends on IRC, and that's better than what I have done in newRO. | |||

| Question: what exactly is it that some of you would like to see done on the server? Raf (Master_Vivi) and Emuz are working on trying to add a lot of features, but it's not easy to do (believe me there: I get to spend hours listening to Raf cuss in French when something they're trying to get working keeps failing). About three-quarters of you just say 'it sucks' or make some vague reference to 'the community not being fun' or something like that. If you want more interesting people to join up, invite them on. If you want the EXP rates higher, say so and talk to Emuz about it. If you want drop rates raised, again, talk to Emuz about raising that. If there is a feature you want to see added, talk to Raf or Emuz, but keep in mind that adding features and porting things over takes time, so you may have to wait a few weeks to see a card-seller or have card-removal working. Also, the char server keeps crashing because eAthena isn't stable. Raf and Emuz are working on fixing that now, as I type this message. Again, it's not exactly something they can pull out of a hat and have perfect in under five minutes. So, before you up and leave, at least say what it is that is bugging you, exactly, and see if maybe it can be fixed. Phoenix |
