| When I was a lifeguard at a pool, I used to have to check the bathrooms every now and then to see that nobody had slipped or anything. If we found something, we had to clean it up... I used to find weird things, but mostly people's bathing suits. The grossest thing I found was a dirty nappy (diaper)  |

I've been a fan of Chalosan's art for a while, but today I was procrastinating and I started making little Kate doodles. One of them turned out to be this one... Course, it wasn't much of a "doodle". If you have a lot of bandwidth, I invite you to see it at working size....  At that size, it'll print well though! |

| Nope, not Photoshop. The entire thing was drawn and colored in Open Canvas, but with very minor touchup work in Photoshop at the end (the black on the eyelashes never does what I want it to in OC, so I always need to fix in Photoshop). It took me about five hours. and I think I did myself an injury. |

| Bleh, once I've finished applying for my job, I might have time, but at the moment things are very hectic. Didn't have any way of playing it as a child... and now I'm grown up, I have multiple methods of playing it within reach... AND NO BLOODY TIME TO DO IT!  Stupid... grown.. up.. ness. | The other obvious question -- do you think that stores should check ID for certain games? Personally, I have no problem with it. I mean, it keeps some stuff (like say, Grand Theft Auto) out of little kids' hands. If those kids parents are okay with it, then I don't care, but if the parents aren't cool with it, it stops the kid from going and getting it themselves. Once you're over a certain age (18 sounds good to me, not sure what the age for this is in the US though) you should be able to do what you like though  By that age, you're old enough to make your own decisions..... and just laugh as your parents watch horrified. |

| You know what's fun? Taking over PC's that are in the same house/building as you. I have VNC on my PC (which is the shared computer here) and I was doing Windows Updates through it (I was sitting in my room with my Mac). I saw the mouse move, which meant somebody was at the computer, and I then they closed Windows Update...... so I opened Notepad and typed "The Matrix has you, JP...." Minutes later, my housemate knocked on my bedroom door to inform me that "Neo" or "Morpheus" is in the computer, and they're hacking it.... On the other IE vulnerability.... | Just wondering if somebody could clear up some confusion I'm having. My PM thing reports that I have 40 something messages.... but when I actually go in there, I have none in the Inbox, and none in any folders. I have 70 something in sent... Where is this 40 coming from? Is this some kind of bug? |

| What everybody else's said, really. If you have trouble, try using Hijack This! as well to identify the problem. Most spyware removers have trouble with "CoolWebSearch" (which changes itself regularly to avoid removal) so if you have that, there are special removal tools on the web. | To be fair, it was actually offered to Fyxe for a layout first, via PM. I know that Fyxe is a big fan of Kate. Vyper -- the best answer I can give for "how do you do it" is to get you to look at the working size image As for Open Canvas, it's pretty damn cool, but I can do this in Painter, and to a lesser extent, Photoshop |
