Several, when you consider that the first and second move combonations are well over 30. Add on a third move (which is where I stop calling it "opening moves") and you've got quite a few different possibilities. Of course, if you decide to use even more moves as an 'opening', it can go much, much higher.

It's now 3:00 AM, I haven't gone to bed yet (and will soon, likely) and am leading the ACS for the day already. Trapster, it was probably Colleen. He's an admin and 'gray paint' is commonly used as a synonym for banning, and since no one was banned today (unlike yesterday) he probably thought it to be appropiate (and it was.) |

If you knew, then why ask? And I was hyped up on Mountain Dew, so naturally I'm going to be stuck awake. If only someone was online to talk to, I'm fairly lonely ... also, I'm now the first alternate account to hit 100 posts! |

You forget he also coded an entire new sound engine and new music (I should know, I nabbed a copy off his local server when he wasn't watching ) Also, on spike behaviour, it depends on how it works: IF player(istouchingenemy) = TRUE THEN GOSUB hurtplayer IF player(istouchingspike) = TRUE THEN GOSUB hurtplayer For example, the ASM hack might just nulffify the top line of code (remove the eneemy check entirely), or just remove the hurted routine entirely. |

I have no knowledge of ASM for the SNES or NES (or much else, for that matter) and I'm just guessing here, but that seem spretty much right... |

Fine; it's a mix of color rotating and a bit of tinting, probably with a few minor color mods. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not really amazing.

Same with me. I was like HOLY CRAP UPDATE and then realized... yeah. This would be a perfect exmaple (well, almost) of what I would deem an allowed bump. It's informative (BMF probably didn't know it wouldn't run) and useful. Also, I'm just wondering, this game was a NTSC game. There probably won't be much difference, but since you're trying a NTSC game on a PAL console, you may want to try a NTSC console. |

Blocks? There's only a few I can think of (up side down pipes, red piranahs, poison shrooms*)... The M/L physics was done, actually, as was the poison shroom hack. |

I just did a search of the entire forum (subjects with "Custom block" in them) and found nothing of interest, but you can go through them all by hand and try and find them. If you can remember the user, it would be even more helpful, but someone else might know. |

I'm fairly sure someone already made the sprite on the right, heh... ...and the middle. But the one on the left is definitely a new one They seem to match the game's, even though I haven't played ML: SS in quite a while now. |

The game's ending isn't too terribly special, but it's pretty fun. The latter boss battles are far too easy, the added timebomb doesn't raise the stakes any, since you have 8 turns to kill them and it usually takes even less =/
