| He's paying the price. He screwed up, he snapped... I don't care what you call it, it's an embarassment to the league and they had to act that way. The punishment is fair, but if the Canucks get dumped in Round 1 I wouldn't be surprised to see 5-10 games added to the suspension. The $250,000 fine to the Canucks is insane though. $50,000 I could see, but that's just asinine. |

Just a note about Goldberg/Brock... (spoiler space) |
...The crowd PISSED on the whole match. They knew both guys were leaving (although I'm not 100% sold on the whole thing, and I won't be surprised if Vince makes a final offer to Goldberg at least through August), so the chants... BRUTAL. I think poor JR and King had to come up with a ton of excuses for those. Goldberg flipped off the crowd after the match too, so he was kinda pissed.

There's been plenty of ports of PC-style games. |
Wizardry and Might and Magic for the NES are two examples.Open-ended, yeah... but for the novice player they might be too much since there's no linear path.

Canada would be fine (I'd guess you'd head up to Vancouver or something), but TPiR would probably be extremely fun.  You'd have to show up really early for contestant screening though.

$250,000 AMERICAN last I checked. The NHL doesn't give out fines in Canadian dollars - the teams/players make and use American dollars, so that's what they use for fines. |
