I used to have Norton Anti-virus 2003. Or maybe it was 2002... and well it's really not that much of a resource hog.

Then, my other computer have a more recent version and that's... oi.

Besides, Panda Antivirus 2006 takes much less resources than my old Norton did so. Might mention that it's a beta version of Panda Antivirus too, applies to some beta-testing for awhile ago. So far i'm happy with it.

My laptop uses Kaspersky Anti-virus. And it's a rather solid anti-virus program.

All permabanned people were supposed to lose their bans or something with the staff change. So that's the reason.

And yeah, welcome back to the board. I hope you learn your lesson.

Let see...

Top loading, discs is less likely to get stuck inside the reader as the mechamism won't jam. On the other hand, you can't place the console under the TV. Which kinda sucks... NES is the only console I have under my TV. The rest are scattered around it at home. :/

Trays, neat but I seen cases where a tray refused to open or where it's refuses to close.

Slot loaders... uhm. Probably are neat and all, but I wonder how you get a disc out that's stuck.

Jesper made a Swedish translation of Acmlm board for a little board he hosted. Dunno what the address to it was though.

And well, I don't see it's needed. Since all the forums here are in English, althought a foreign languages forum would be nice.

"Two small sensors placed near the TV and a chip inside the controller track its position and orientation, allowing the player to manipulate the action on screen by physically moving the controller itself."

Somehow I was expecting that. And hey, what stops Nintendo from releasing a "normal" controller later on. Or maybe that's what they're plannng. So far it seems like the revolution can use Gamecube controllers. (althought probably just for backwards combilitliy)

But it's orginal, and you can hold it like a NES controller.

Well, it's so orginal I don't know if I should be excited or worried.

Edit: Reading through the article, I can see how this thing can work pretty well. It opens up new ways to play games, and to be honest controllers have pretty much not evolved much lately. Let see when devolopers get's their devolopment kits... Althought some of it's idea seems to be taken from Power glove, but technology have improved alot since thoose days.

Will be really intresting to see how much it will sell, considering I hardly heard about what games it's going to have... at launch.

Europa is a bigger market thna japan I guess, as X-box didn't do well over there. Last time I heard stuff like orginal GBA outselling the X-box.

Hmm, now if I did have a need for a such switch.

I have a five port switch, and a six ports router (one of them is the "WAN" port ). So it's not like i'm running out of them.

However, I could need a new LCD screen. I probably buy one whenever I get around buying a new desktop computer. This one is good so far, but I wanna be able to play Battlefield 2.

Win XP is stable, as long you keep the fuck off from IE. That's is what I call instable. And also don't use the switch user feature, which have a few odd stability bugs if you have a uptime of weeks...

Out of the modern OS's, I would say that Mac OS X is pretty inspiring althought Apple's way of saying "Run it on our hardware, or not at all" sorta annoys me.

And Vista is gonna be the new Windows ME. And it dosen't impress me enough.

And oh, I prefer 2000 if it's a old computer. Windows XP might be a fast OS, but it's the Windows OS that takes the mopst harddrive space too.

And it's gone to a point where the diffrent OS's pretty much been inspired by each other.

And back to the topic, for looks i'm rather bored. In Linux I use the most boring theme as possible and in Windows I use the classic theme (together with the new start-menu like Yiffy Kitten though).

I wish Windows had a better CLI. Both Macintosh and Linux have alot better CLI.

I would say to try Slackware if you want something good, it's not as easy to install as Fedora core or Red hat but it's not as insane as Gentoo is. I didn't find Slackware hard to install, but then i'm not a Linux newbie either... I know how to use the Linux CLI pretty well.

Althought I yet have to try Ubuntu or Gentoo.

You know, if you contact an ISP about this they probably think it's a joke or something. xD

I don't get why some people get so upset over this, it's not like stuff was deleted. :/
