I agree with Taryn over there. However, it really pisses me off when IE has all sorts of exceptions that don't comply with the w3c standards. When a page may look nice in a browser like firefox lets say, it could be shitted up in IE. yeah, annoying it is.

When opening up balloon fight in FCEU, all you get is a grey screen. It runs in other emus. Hmm...

I don't think it's corrupt, I downloaded the standard goodname of the rom, from several different sources. I also tested it in 4 other emus (rocknes, nestopia, jnes, nesten) and they all played it fine, with the exception of jnes, which says mapper #64 is unsupported. Would that have anything to do with it? I'm playing it in nestopia now. It's my balloon-fight emu. It serves no other purpose.

Is this what you're looking for? You can just edit out that black shadow thing the font has.

Holy fuck, there is always a little animation making random noises and gestures on there! Sooo annoying! I wonder what Disch would have to say about that.

Bytes $00007 through $0000F should all be zero. Yours probably has "DISKDUDE!" or something similar which should not be in this (or any) ROM.
Yay! Yeah, it said "@iskDude!" changed that to 0's and rom loads in FCEU. Thanks!

Edit: heh, now I notice that I spelled "balloon" wrong in the thread title. lol

Eh, w3schools is pretty good, but it will only teach you the hard basics. w3c, the umbrella over w3schools, has some more in depth intruction.
w3c tutorials.
They focus on the markups, and css.

OMG! I never thought IE rendered pngs that badly! Firefox gets a perfect score. Yay! IE, on the other hand, renders the most bizarre incorrect image for all of them. A grey->transparent appears as a grey->pink, in some cases.

Definitely go with the Bearded Dragon. They're awesome. Don't get a leopard gecko because, they are cute and interesting for a while, then they just get boring due to their size and inability to do stuff. and uh, hermit crab? Uh... sounds pretty boring.

I'd actually like to get back playing this game, but I get odd lag now, which I didn't get when I started. Like after I'd deliver a killing blow to a monster, it wouldn't die for another second or two. Say I were to run into the green snail. 35 damage with the bow. You know he's dead, but he crawls about a little before collapsing into goo. The other thing is that items take FOREVER to pick up. I would hit z over a coin, then about 7 seconds later see it fly into me from offscreen. I really hate this; but it's the only issue I have; the game runs very smooth otherwise. But still, it sucks. I waste way more arrows shooting at enemies that are actually dead, and I refuse to get the slow picking up mesos, which results in WAY less arrows, it's a loop. What could be the problem, I didn't get this when I started playing. What's the deal? I won't play like this, help!

Bearded dragons are just the bitch of frilled lizards. Too bad frilled lizards need so much cage space.

You're still using defaults in the blending options! Default outer glow, and default bevel and emboss on the characters! Which looks terrible. Maybe you don't know this, but you can actually click on the blending option to adjust its settings, instead of just selecting the checkbox.
