Janus' eyes widen as he stares down the visored red robot. He takes his hand, grinning, and seems glad to be teamed up with such a legend in his world.

Janus: "Oh, kick ass...."

Janus releases Blues' hand, and walks over to Quickman and Shadowman's panel.

"How about it, Protoman? It'd be an honor to fight alongside you."

Janus: "Of course not, they'd be expecting that. The wood doesn't seem too sturdy either, a rather flimsy trap, I'd think. Instead, I suggest....." At this Janus looks upward, to the roof of the dojo... "....taking the top route. Perhaps there's a way up there?"

Six words.

Pedestrians have the right of way. No matter what happens, you can't be held responsible for the actions of people who aren't smart enough to identify a possible conflict and avoid it. It's (I believe) illegal to just jump out into the street and hope to get hit, but if you were trying to cross the street and a car stopped for you, you can't be held responsible for people who don't look both ways before careening down the street.

"Just tiling?" Janus asks. "Well, good! ....Don't blink..."

Janus springs into the air, way high up, and lands on the roof beside Protoman. He begins feeling around for loose tiles in the roof.

"The best thing to do here would be to see where a weakness in the roof is. If we can come in from above, I bet it'll give them a good surprise, and if they're expecting this too, at least we'll have a locational advantage and a slight element of surprise..."

Sanji..... My poor, poor Sanji... He's not gonna be the skirt chasing yet loveable cook anymore. Now he's just gonna be some guy who kicks people's asses in a literal sense. What the hell are they gonna do about the sequences between him and Nami? I still say the entire character is gonna be lost because they can't really show kids that kind of thing.

Janus: "Grrr.... Getting a bit close here... But that's one!"

The disc breaks open! Janus' new technique is as yet unrevealed, as he takes the square cartridge and begins studying it frantically, as well.

I dunno what the board was like back in the "Old days", I was registered on the old board but never even touched it. I came here to the new board in June and I've been steadily posting, can't really see anything wrong with it.

I suppose that's because I never pay attention to politics, or something like that, but so far I can't see where the assholes are. Cy's list is certainly accurate, with a few exceptions, but those exceptions just show that people are entirely capable of getting smarter if you just tell them to smarten up.

OK, so things aren't as good as the "old days". I don't know what the old days were like, so that puts me in the same boat as the new Acmlmers, I guess. But it's a good place as it is now.

Of course, this statement is coming from a person who frequents the SB Arena, the spammiest place on the entire board sometimes, and rarely ventures outside it. I guess I can't really talk about the board being alright, if that's the case. But if I can, well then that's what I have to say. As more new members join the board they'll think it's great, and the old members can reminisce about old times. Heck, I'd like to hear stories of these old times, but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen anytime soon, whenever I ask about oldbie stories I'm not *usually* answered.

Janus: "Yep, I got it."

As he leaps off the roof, Janus disinterestedly whips his hammer at the turrets, arcing it in a boomerang pattern to smash them in. Once he lands on the ground, he recalls his hammer to him and begins checking around the rusty metal...

Another broken disc! Two techniques down, one more to go... Janus grabs the larger rectangular device and scans it...

Janus: "One minute? Just as long as I need!"

OOC: Actually, it's been out for awhile... You have a problem with Viewtiful Joe? I liked it a lot. But the V-Watch idea actually came from Melvin...

7-11 is a convenience store, you just buy stuff like twinkies and inhumanly large drinks and such. It'd make sense to see that stuff at a 7-11, all manner of crazy drinks are at those kinds of stores, energy drinks and stuff like that...

Sorry, Daemon, but TooL's right. I used to hydralisk rush constantly, it never works. Nowadays I find myself relying very heavily on air units. I know the Terran Air Force is kinda crappy, but Valkyries, Wraiths, and Seige Tanks make an incredible combination. But of course, my favorite move will always be the backdoor nuke technique.

For those of you who don't know, basically you just send one single transport into the back of your enemies' bases while you rush their front lines. They're usually so busy at the frontline they don't notice the single ghost targeting their main buildings until it's too late.

Of course, a lot of people will say that such an old tactic won't work against skilled players, but you'd be very surprised at how many people will fall for it. And if that's not the case, then at least I'm pounding on their front door with a considerable force anyway.

There was nothing wrong with DEVO back when the Aquabats weren't trying to be them, and there's nothing wrong with the Aquabats bringing them back.

I agree with Toxic here, Catch 22 is the greatest band ever. But I actually think Goldfinger is excellent, although they're more punk nowadays than ska, back in the days when they did stuff like Hang Ups they were really good.

On the other hand though, I can't stand RBF, The Bosstones, or LTJ (unless I'm in a really good mood). All of them have an excellent sound, but they suffer from the biggest problem all ska bands seem to suffer from, their frontmen are just annoying. Streetlight Manifesto, however, is extremely good (most likely cause they're pretty much 50% Catch 22).

Janus: "Perfect. That's three techniques."

Janus grabs his hammer and drills into the ground to avoid the charge! Popping out of the ground as his third cartridge breaks, he assumes a meditative position and stares the Time Elemental down.

"That was close. Too close. What's more, I'm still not ready yet!"

Janus needs more time! Time........

While Origin was holding his holy crusade at the hand, Red was having an insane time, his latent pyromania finally expressing itself at the expense of the surrounding city. Launching fireballs left and right, the stones the Beetles throw don't even come close to hitting him as he dashes along the streets, a flaming dynamo of kinetic energy.

Red: "WOOOHOO! BURN! BURN TO THE GROU---" He stops short, pausing to think about his actions... "Oh, I shouldn't be killing people... I hope those guys were ok...?"

Looking back at the wake of destruction he seems to have left, it doesn't look like anyone's been scorched too badly by his assault, and the fires certainly weren't hot enough to melt the shell of a Buster Beetle. He smiles at his ability to preserve life, and continues onward, raining small, controlled explosions everywhere he ran.

"Pyrotechnics: Fun, warm, AND destructive!"

Ha, I'm not as good as Schwa says, but I'd love to take you on, it's nice to see people who are serious about Sim Battling and can use proper grammar and such. Myself, I take a lighthearted approach to it, but if you do end up taking me on, be forewarned; I usually attach cheesy, long-winded stories to my fights.

In any case, welcome aboard!
