I had an idea where you could choose from two worlds but had to do both eventually...I never did it in my current hack, though, if I make a "SMCIA 2" I'll put it in there. I like your overworld, particularly the ice cave, that looks cool but still very similar to Vanilla Dome. Also, I do insist you change the forest background for the lava. | *falls over anime-style* That's what I had planned for my next hack. Well, not exactly those elements in order, but an elemental-based game nonetheless. I'm using the Latin names for the areas though...stuff like Aequoreus Lake, ectera. Good idea though. For the Star Road, I suggest a portal from each elemental world to a level of that element. You could set it up so that you beat the levels in order of elemental supremacy (fire level -- ice level, por examplé) and you need to beat all eight levels to get to the Special World. It'll probably require some ASM tweaking to make the gateway to the Special World open only when all eight levels are beaten, but it'd be cool. ~Draconis Kenjishiya~ |

| I don't exactly understand extended animation. I want to create sparkling surface water in a level (using tiles similar to the sparkling surface water in Yoshi's Island) but I don't really know how to get them animated. Thanks! ~Draconis Kenjishiya~ |
