Metallica. Simply because they offered me a more enjoyable listening period as a fan. In other words, old Metallica ruled, even though Black Sabbath is a pioneer. Plus 'Fade to Black' will the song playing at my funeral. Wicked cool. |

Nothing out of the ordinary from the blandness that is the music scene this year. Hopefully the rest of the Cd will be well put to make it a good purchase. I will reserve my entire judgement till I listen to the entire thing but for now, I predict it will sell, but it will still be 'just another attempt to blend rap-rock' |

The NBA season is shaping up to be a mixture of emotions fo rme. The Houston Rockets are indifferent. Indifferent in the way of they can't decide whether they want to win games or simply lose them just for the hell off it. The East is in shambles. Just when you think you can root for a team, they lose. The Magic start out good and are still good. Boston and the Toronto are doing good. WTF? The West, well it's the west. Seattle is killing teams. Utah is off to a good start while Denver is fading. How about the Hornets? And the Kings? They are 4-4, the same as the Shaq-less Lakers? How can that be possible. Oh ands back to the topic of the Rockets. How in the bloody hell can you have T-Mac on a team with a 2nd scoring option (Yao) and lose so much? Man, at least the season is just starting and not ending or else the vein on my arm would have popped to see the Rockets lose and not make the finals. |

Between Artest, O'Neal and Jackson. 11+ million is lost in salary. Damn... Anway, Rockets won two games in a row. Hopefully they can make this streak last. Oh and the Sonics finally lost. And a side note. I am thankful that it wasn't Shaq who jumped into the stands. Just imagine him going crazy. |

Shaq is on the slow side but come on, the fan that threw the bottle just stood there. And no I don't mean the guy Artest and Jackson punched, the guy who was holding Artest with the cap was the one who threw the bottle, or so it seems by the 'fan-cam' presented on ESPN. And there are only two games on Christmas Day. Detroit vs. Indiana And the Lakers vs. The Heat |

The Pacers are actually winning! With people off the street....well almost. I can't even name 3 or more people on their active roster that played in the last four games. I know there is a Jones somebody...Fred Jones, I think it is. And Tinsley. And that is it. And the Rockets are sucking again. Will somebody explain to me how and why, then kill me. |

I'm not putting decorations this year. It seems too much of a hassle to do it this year. My house will remain empty inside and deserted on the inside. |

Congratulations, Felix! I guess that is fairly accurate. But the results are kind of a let down. 122? Man, I have let my brain turn into mush during this first year of College. |

Yeah. I think they could've replaced Ma-ti with the monkey. Give the monkey the ring and powers. Now that would've been cool. |

I saw the movie "Alone in the Dark' and wow. It is probably one of the worst movies I've seen. Lack of a plot is for one. Lack of credible acting is another. I mean, it tried to start off fast but crashed under the script material which involves some damn ancient people which they repeat the name over and over and over and how they openend a door and demons/monster came out, etc... Christian Slater: "This cave is dark" Tara Reid: "The [insert ancient people] were great builders who...blah blah blah... I mean, geez, what the hell was the movie suppose to be? A horror movie? Action movie? A comedy? It was more of a comedy than anything, it made me laugh with how bad it was. |

Since I hardly glanced at either network before the merger I cannot say if the wuality is diluted but I kind of like what they have now. Yes, even the Screen Savers. I mean, at times it is lame, but still interesting and holds me over for that hour. Noticed that in the Cheat show, they fired the guy and replaced him with...guess what?...a hot girl. Also notice that every show on G4TechTv is either hosted or co-hosted by a hot woman or women. Not that it is bad but it is starting to look like the Lifetime channel for geeks. They also took out the show 'Pulse'. I liked that show. But oh well, it could be worst. Hell, it could be a thousand times worst. I'm thankful I got some shit instead of all shit. |

I voted "Not at all" since in the general aspect of things peopel consider Kenshin to be a good show or great in a sense, but... The manga holds the true power of those praises. Simply the manga roxs while the series is quite good at best and lame ass at worst. Especially when the series hits the Kyoto Arc, that is gold, but when he derails the storyline of the manga and goes all 'Christian storyline and Ki storyline' then yes, it's greatness is lowered to a simple 'good' It is one of those shows in which you have to wait a bit until it picks up, once it does it won't let you go, until after the Kyoto arc, to which I just explained is lame. Otherwise simply buy the manga or read it from somewhere, it is better. |

Dallas, I expected so. Pheonix and Seattle, no. Is it me, but this season is sort of the opposite of last season. In the East, the Heat are doing very good, which is expected, but the Wizards are right after them, even though they lost the last two. Orlando is doing okay, and so are the Cavs while Detroit, New Jersey and the rest are really really starting to suck. I know Detroit will pick up the pace but damn, last season they were defense. Now, with the same guys in the team they are, "Defense, offense, whatever...gets us to win" The Sixers are okay. Iverson matured and is doing great for himself, for his team, well, I can't name any other player besides Iverson on that team. Not even the coach. The West, well, Lakers are average, of course that is no surprise but last season they were above average. The Rockets are winning, 7 in a row. WTF, did Yao Ming take "Shaq pills' are started to play good, like he should? I guess. But seriously then there is the T-Wolves. Um, watching them this season was like watching an accident happen, you are unware of whta is going to happen at first, suddely you get a glimpse of what may happen, and even though you know it will be ugly you can't help but watch. Any predictions for the Finals. I know it is mid season but still, I think it may be a Heat vs. Spurs/Suns. Yeah that is the obvious choice. |

Shows I think kick ass: Simpsons/SouthPark: Animated goodness. Both dare to be funny with certain things. What that means? I have no clue. Seinfeld: The show about nothing. I miss Seinfeld. Thank God for TBS and it's purchase of every sitcom of the 90's. Lost: A new show, but exciting. It took over and dethroned 'Smallville' and my show to watch on Weds. Shows I like: Law & Order SVU: Each episode reminds me of a drama movie. Which are most likely pretty kick ass. Friends: I lived it until Rachael and Joey were no more, then it simply was average watching for me. Hercules/Xena/The A-Team/Macgyver/Wings: I lumped them together because at the time they were cool but now that I look back, I ask myself "Why did I watch that?" |

Heh. It better be good. Or at least have better voice acting then....'One Piece' geez, that acting sucks, and this is coming from a guy who frequently watches bad porn. Who knows, Naruto may be one of those gems of a series that turns out okay. Even if it sucks, I still have manga. Worst, Krillin's voice as Naruto, Bulma's as Sakura and Vegeta's voice as Sasuke. Ah yes, the power of bad mental images. |

Originally posted by Xeogred Yes and no. A great deal of manga does hold superiority over the series but at times the series is actually better. Mangas are considered better because of time, they offer more time to go in depth with details and build characters. Making a series is usually a race to get ratings and keep them, which forces them to exclude many details ( not big but still details) But it is usually preferences, if you hate to read and not use your imagination then you might enjoy the tv series because you don't have to stimulate your brain to create the images. |

I guess me being a big Korn fan this is like a punch to my testicles. Not really. Actually is saddens me to an extent. I had hoped that Korn would be one of those bands that would stick to together forver or until one of them OD's. At least Jonathan (Lead singer) didn't leave...then I would've cried. Oh, and they can get a replacement guitar player. |

Doesn't really bother me. I won't get a shot, just simply wait and not giving it a thought on my mind. Until this chicken pox sickness escalates and turns people into zombies then I might care, if only a teeny weeny bit. |
