So that means, Star Ocean with its 64 megabits is the biggest ROM ever possible for SNES  ?8 megabyte is quite huge for a SNES-ROM; just think how many SMW levels you could fit in there ... or the amount of space for ExGFX and such  (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-27-04 03:15 PM) |

| The first effective way when having a trojan is *sigh* a full reinstallation of windows, since it is possible to have spread out other trojans and backdoors as well. If you have the time to run your (slowed down) CD/DVD writer, backup the most important stuff on there (just make sure the virus is not in these files), format the harddisk, reinstall and copy the stuff back. Then immediately get another browser than IE, personal firewall, an always (!) up-to-date virus scanners and scan at least once a week your system fully for viruses (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-27-04 03:19 PM) |

| I didfn't have my first hack, but a very old one left on my webspace It's the third renewal from my hack, it's only five levels and an altered world #1 map, some ExGFX and based on Bouche's DW3 I gotta didn't know how to to adjust the correct the right pallettes then (didn't notice the option to import level pallettes from save states then  ), so some backgrounds and foregground pallettes don't show the right colors  Some people complaint about the difficulty level, epecially in the "Six Stars of Fate" level http://mitglied.lycos.de/mithrandir21/forgotten.zip Second edit: My webspace was just down until now (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-28-04 12:07 PM) (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-28-04 12:09 PM) |

| It should be done, yeah ... If someone for example really wants his/her custom title, he or she probably posts some crappy posts, deletes them and repeats this; cheating all the way As for deleted users (a little off topic ^^), they should be kept. If someone tried to hack the board, this is at least the evidence if handing the information over to the police or such |

| I'm using NNNesterJ, all the games and save states were made using that emu Besides FCEU I also gave it a try with BioNES. It has not too much excessive features, but on the other hand it is relatively fast (though the speed depends from your refresh rate; I need to reduce the refresh rate beforehand from 85 to 60 Hz when I want to play the games in normal, and not in uber-fast speed ).It doesn'T support all mappers, so the Super Mario World pirate hack for example doesn't run on BioNES (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-28-04 03:12 PM) |

| Whe have four providers for cellphone networks here ... along with Vodafone, which is already very popular; it had overtaken the d-network some years ago In Germany many companies may feature good products, but bad customer service. Like if you phone their support hotline and the employee in the call center redirects you somewhere else  And like Jesper said it for Sweden with keeping the old phone number after changing the provider, since the begin of 2003 you also can take your old number with you here  I'm still using my 3310, I need it for phoning and messages, everything else is just useless crap for me (edited by Gandalf The Grey on 03-28-04 03:59 PM) |

| DB was my first manga ever, everyone started small The German anime version sucks even more than the original one. Although I really got never fond of the anime: After two episodes I never switched again to it. | The ACS thread got to a legal spam and chat thread later; so if some didn't find an interesting thread to post in, he/she simply posted in the stickied current ACS thread Who really cares about the posting counter also could find other ways to raise his/her post counter (as for me, I don't pay attention to it); probably improving the quality since the people won't be able to post too much useless stuff in there |

| Which player/application do you use for viewing your DVDs on your PC ? Usually it should be possible to bypass the restriction of the region code on machines, since on the most stand-alone DVD players the regions are hardcoded (some DVD players can be manipulated for allowing to watch other region DVDs as well; or the dealer offers a non-restricted version for the DVD player the customer want to buy). | Well, I posted on the other (main forum, since I know it from 2001) board, other than else, I tried to continue in games which I always wanted to finish, but never did make it - Tactics Ogre, SNES - Grandia I, PSX - Vagrant Story, PSX - Seiken Densetsz 3, SNES I'm currently messing with TO now again (did it 2003 before my hard drive with all my saves crashed, I was far in chapter 3 already) |

| phpBBs and other board systems base the max number of posts really on the thread made. So if you deleted for exaple ten forums at once using the ModCP, the post counter also gets affectede as when you delete your last post. If it did not used to much bandwith, maybe the counter simply could be calculated from the current number of posts. Nice number, but sadly it gets abused too often in message boards ... since the post count do not determine the quality of one post. There may be exceptions as well, but high post count does not mean always that a large amount of posts means a better user.
