| "....It's a good thing I tricked you again!" * Despite being toasted finely by the flaming inferno, Sion had once again been tricked! The furrows in the ground popped up, revealing three electrodes. By leaping off the ground, Sion had eliminated a major protector against electricity. Since they popped up after the inferno passed by, they were unscathed. The suddenly began sparking... a very bad thing. Dynamically honing in on Sion, they created a trio of lightning bolts, which met at Sion, with spectactular results. A huge ball of electricity engulfed Sion, raining sparks everywhere and making a very loud electrical noise. The batteries would lose power in 5 minutes, but the sheer electrical force would be staggering. Meanwhile, Metal was stumbling about, his armor half-melted and half-scorched. He had taken a great deal of damage, but his trap had worked just as he planned. * "You know, if you hadn't have jumped, those electrodes... wouldn't have hit you." * He made a rather low chuckle, then flinched as he noticed his right elbow was on fire. He put that out, then staggered a bit... then realized that explosion had fried all of his other goodies. * "Oh... dang it! I'll have to fight you normally now!" * Lying in wait for Sion to escape, the electrodes to run out of power, or something else, Metal prepared for an all-out physical brawl with Sion. * |

| * Pulling out a blunt crowbar, Metal approached Sion with a dangerous look in his eyes. The look of a merciless killing machine. He smirked, then swung the blunt object at Sion's head without mercy. * "I shall triumph soon enough. No pill can save you now!" |

| * OOF! Metal was kicked back. However, still ready for battle, he leaped up, his feet flying towards Sion's head as he got up. A simple move, but in such fast-paced simple combat, there was no room for highly complex attacks. Metal's armor was all ruined by now, full of cracks and the occasional hole. * | |||

| * The already wounded fighter was heavily wounded. He had become rather angry now... well... now he just went crazy. * "..." *twitch* "..."  *twitch* O_o "..." *TWITCH* *TWITCHTWITCH*  *TWITCH!** He suddenly floated up, surrounded by a red aura. He began laughing hysterically, as his suit suddenly exploded off, sending fireworks everywhere. In the flash, he was suddenly a human, wearing blue robes and with blue angel wings... a larger staff in his right hand, and a strange, rainbow-colored halo above his head. * "....You.. have... done it now! Breaking my inventions, then thwarting all of my attacks! IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO DIEEEEE!!!!" * The insane angel suddenly slashed with the staff, firing a wave of blue energy at Sion. If this wasn't enough, he then fired a series of blue rings from his left hand, which came from another angle. Then, as these flew by, he crashed into the ground, sending a straight line of blue energy flying at Sion. Beyond angry, and if anything beyond sanity, he then began running towards Sion like a freight train, right behind all of those energy attacks. * "RrrrrrAAAARRRRRRRRRGHHHH!!!!!!" * His battle cry was enough to send shivers, an inhuman screech which pierced the ears of all nearby. | Ah yes... IE. I would uninstall it immediately myself, but I have a problem that may be a little off-topic: How do I hide all the icons from my desktop after doing so? Since Activedesktop is what I use to set the 'hide all icons' thing. Otherwise, yes, I hate IE. It still attempts to keep itself as the top browser on my computer, even though I only use Firefox. Dang it, I almost posted a topic instead of a reply.  |

| I first joined a forum five years ago, in the year 2000. The name of it is VGF, and it is located at http://www.vgf.com/forums . It is why I am so good at battling. I joined there to fight RP with other people, and have continued doing so ever since then. I'm still a member there, and have thousands of posts. As he did, he violently beat at Sion with the staff, each blow that hit being slightly stronger than a punch. The maniac continued to do this as long as he had arms and Sion was in range to be hit. However, his magic energy had to be low, otherwise he rightfully should have continued shooting blue objects and creating an onslaught. If Sion was wise, a way around this madman could be found. * |

| * But all was not as it seemed. Metal stood his ground, taking the onslaught. He was insane, after all, and his life was not meaningful while so much energy flowed in his mind. He took a great many blows, and was bleeding all over; however, he predicted Sion's last incredibly blow before it occurred, stopping it in its tracks with his staff. As Sion was probably amazed by the timing, Metal would begin more rambling. * "Speed is nothing if foresight is your guide. Let it be shown that you cannot win with overwhelming speed alone!" * Metal then glowed, swinging wildly. He missed many times, as Sion dodged at high speeds. However, that was when things got unpredictable. At the end of one attack, he made a strange swerve and tripped Sion. It was at this point that the anger surged through Metal's body. * "The limits of Chakra cannot stop my superior wits. Surrender!" * At this point, Metal's anger surged through the staff, and he smacked the stunned Sion away. As Sion probably got back on his feet, however, he would find Metal prepared for the next attack, now surrounded by energy. * "This is your last chance. Surrender now!" * With that, he concentrated one last bit of energy... the last which he could use for this battle. * |

| * Glowing, insane, and filled with the last of his energy, Metal began a speech. * "The time has come to end this tough battle. To the victor, goes fame and glory. To the loser... well, not much. Our energies are completely balanced at this point, but that is not to be. For now... I shall destroy you with your own energy!" * Metal suddenly threw the staff, which was now charged with all of his energy. His own field dissipated, and he was blasted back. The damage from that, however, was nothing compared to what happened next. The staff pierced the energy around Sion just a bit... causing the energy field to collapse. A huge explosion, centered around Sion, occurred. This was then added to as the innate magical energies within the staff destabilized and exploded as well, creating a horrific explosion on top of that. Metal had to get up and flee to avoid being immolated by the sheer magical energy. As he ran, the blinding explosion of energy burnt the ground and threw the bits of the ruined battlefield about... an unimaginable amount of energy being discharged in the center. * "Gahhhh!!!!" |

| I'm lucky. The people at the Gamestop near me remembered me by name, and never pulled any of that stuff on me. Of course, I've often boggled people at Radio Shack when I come in and ask for a WIRED router or a certain, exact model of WAP. But at the gamestop, they just got me what I asked for, and tirelessly answered my questions about when a certain rare game thing or another would appear. I bought a ton of old games from them, and while they've probably forgotten my name by now, I'll never forget that time they fixed the Zelda 2 Cart by spraying industrial foaming cleaner on the connector... I gotta ge me some of that stuff! | |||

| "Foolish being. Your kicks are useless." * With that, Metal walked into the kicks, taking great damage.... but pushing Sion back with sheer force. It was then that he was on his last bit of energy... but he was not concerned. His now battered body mercilessly walked into the kicks, and then began punching back. Metal was not flinching... this was completely unnatural. Then.... as another kick flew towards him... he just grabbed the incoming leg. * "Checkmate." * With that, Metal began spinning around wildly, lifting Sion off of the ground and probably disorienting him. The speed continued to build, and one could hear the air itself whistling. At the last moment, Metal let go, sending Sion flying into the air.... and then into a large, jagged pile of debris. Uncaring, Metal picked up his battered staff and marched towards the pile of stones, like a mindless killing machine... even though he was bleeding heavily and had a broken leg, as well as a few other broken bones. * "Resistance will only lead to pain. Surrender!" |

Determined, he did not appear to be willing to give up. He was waiting for... something. He had stopped using magical attacks, and thus, was unable to keep Sion back. He walked brazenly towards the most probably magical onslaught, his staff keeping him aloft, and his eyes piercing all which he looked at. * |

| Hello. This may sound absolutely nuts, but I'm trying to install Internet Explorer 5 on my Windows 3.11 computer. The computer has 8 MB of memory, 800 MB disk space (Two hard drives, each with ~30 MB free space), a 133 MHz processor, and a 1 MB video card. And it has TCP/IP 32-bit networking services and a 10 MB/S networking card connected properly to the network. I also have the Win 32s stuff properly installed, and the example 32-bit programs run fine. However, whenever I try to install IE 5.0, it gives me a general protection fault, right after selecting which directory to put it in. How can I make it work and not get the General Protection Fault while trying to install? |
