But heres the thing. You can change the properties of how the fireball comes out which I changed already because I have my fireball coming out straight in the sky and on another rom I have it falling straight in front of me so I am ready to change that damn fireball! LOL

EDIT: And since people are acctualy saying if I changed the fireball it would go right to the floor, here is the ROM addresses to change at your own will to make that fireball go wherever you want: 80C5 and 121D4

And I changed 80B6 to I think it was 66 so the sound a fireball makes sounds like the fire noise from the bowser statues. If anyone knows which is the bomb sound it would be appreciated.

Ok. What I would like to know is the ROM address for Mario kicking a shell.

The reason I want this is because I want to see if I can use it to replace fire marios routine.

I will make a powerup where Mario goes around and kicks shells instead of shooting fireballs.

I have these ideas from Dhark Daiz Mario 3 hacks where he used other objects.

Wow, I come back after 2 days to see this topic is of discussion still and if you think about it, it should be because no one has changed what Mario does besides shoot fireballs. I know it wont be as simple as using the same address for mario kicking and over writing the fireball throwing routine.

I was about to say that too about the pipes. Its great that you will be able to add them in.

Anyway, Im sure you have the hammer bros. Racoon Mario, and the P meter covered from mikeyk.

Have you thought of adding any power ups through ASM? Well acctualy I am sure you did.

Let me tell you that your hack looks AMAZING when it is released you deserve a round of applause for your work.


EDIT: Im sorry. I haven't been to this board in a few days so I just have to ask you these last few questions. I would assume that you are going to disable and remove the extra item holder on top via hex?

Are you getting help from BMF as far as getting items from mushroom house like SMB3 style?

And last but not least, I pretty much know this is a toughy but is there any way to add an item save on the world map to access?

EDIT: Ohh ohh! I have one more question! Sorry......Um... On world 3-7 from the pic with those little green guys that throw spikes, couldn't you just change what happens when you hit them so they fall straight down instead of staying there? I know there is an editor to change what enemies to when you kill them.

Cool. Can't wait for them. By the way, I wonder if anyone is finding out how to separate the main map so you didnt need to have the same music for different parts.

What I am saying is, you know how the super mario world over world has on song. Well someone should try to separate the overworld so its separate entities so people can use different songs. Cause I see you have like world 1 and 5, etc.. in the same place.

Ok, what I had to do is right click on te pics, go to properties and copy and paste the url. It opens on a new page to show just the pic and then when I click back on my broswer, it shows it here on the boards.

By the way...I thought I was on Super Mario World hacking so why do I see Super Mario Bros. 3 here? Oh wait, thats because this hack is so amazing looking that I can't tell the damn difference lol. Wow, the new pics are to the t. Keep up the good work Peter my man!

Its funny cause you have people that are coming up with some good stuff thats geared towards Super Mario Bros. 3 ala mikeyk and his pipes. So I am sure that will e implemented in to your hack? Cause what would world 7 be without that you know?

Have you thought of putting the status bar on the bottom since you will have the P meter for racoon mario anyway.

So what happens if you have more room to add both the lost levels and e-levels in to this game alone? Would you add it instead of making a whole separate rom with them all?


Well acctually now that I think about it, it might not be a bad idea to make a separate rom because the e-levels themselves had a separate e-world and then all you have to do is make a lost levels world......
