I have a question: Did you actual intend on making bloody tentacles, or did you start messing around, then got inspired by your young work? Thats what usually happens to me when I want to make something cool in ps. I never really have any idea of what I want to make, because with that program there are so many possibilities.

EDIT: I need help to get the links the way I want them to. how would I go about changing the quote box and a link.

To change your links and blockquotes, use styles.
For links:
a:link
a:hover
a:visited
Define stuff after that with css, with a syntax like this: "{ remove quotes; }" link is how it looks before anything is done to it. Hover is what it looks like when someone mouses over it. Visited is what it looks like when the user has clicked on the link.
There is also a:active, but thats kind of a queer one. You really only need link and hover, or even just link.
As for blockquotes, uh, theres a lot you can do with them, if you know css, it shouldn't cause you much trouble.

Ok, now onto my question, the initial reason I wanted to post in this thread. My layout doesn't get a big kick out of horizontal stretching, so I want it to scroll along the x-axis, incase I put in a big image or a long word. I know how to do this, its just like defining a scroll normally, but instead of on both axis'. "Overflow-x: auto" in the div. Problem is, thats a IE specific property. Anyone know how I can do something like overflow-x, but have it compatible with all browsers?

*removes layout for xmp, and sorry about table stretching *
K.
Well, you put the first part of code in your header, then the second part goes after your text haha. I'll give a little example.

Maybe this code will help:

Header
<table width=100% bgcolor=desired background color height=the height of that red eye image cellspacing=0><tr><td width=width of red-eye image style=background: url(put the url here of that red-eye image) no-repeat center center></td><td><p style=padding: 10px><font color=red>

Signature
</font></p></td></tr></table>

That should do it.

DONT USE <xmp>

Well, I don't know how to fix the problem, but I know how to remove it. Switch to Firefox. You'll thank yourself, I assure you.

Edit: ah, woops. Windows Explorer. My bad.

Posted on 09-01-04 11:30 PM, in Red Hot UMA! *szzzz* Link
The other layout pissed me off, and the stylesheet linking was messed up, and it was ugly, even when the bg images did show up. So, I made this layout. Inspired by an irc conversation when I realized one primary color was not represented by any user. Jesper's blue, Colleen's green, but what about red? That's it! HOT RED UMA! So here it is.

Style sheets, or CSS if you prefer. Find a tutorial on that, it'll tell you how. And please, no more questions on that, talk about my layout in here lol.

After you rate a user, it brings you to a page with no content. Instead, how about it links to a page like the ones after making posts or threads. Such as "thank you for rating this user" and then links you back to the page you just visited.

It isnt me. It's someone elses...

Its Xtreme. He's defining his links so that they affect the entire page rather than just a single td, which would be his post. Don't simply define "a:link" and its variants. It has to be defined as ".mypostclass a:link" and its variants. Get it? Got it? Good. </Phil>

Sorry, let me correct myself. It links to index.php, but for a little extra convenience, it would be nice if it would link to the page you were visiting prior to the rate, whether it be a profile or a thread.
