Trust me, you guys don't WANT to know what organisms exist on this earth that we don't know about yet. I guess you can start off at "absolute dark depths of the oceans" and go from there. |

I stopped using IE for the sole fact that EVERY time I've used it in the last three weeks or so, I've gotten spyware without fail. Obviously that doesn't happen with Firefox (since it's more secure, duh) but when I'm getting a 100% infection rate, something's seriously messed up.
IE7 can't come soon enough. Either it's a big step forward or a giant step backwards. |

Trust me guys, this is actually a pretty good explanation on Jesper's part - when he goes to dialup-land, he just tells us those very words and then leaves us in the lurch.
Plus his description's probably more interesting than mine, which I'll post in a bit. :\ At least it's productive. |

Lots of searches cache web pages. :\ I'd go with satire here, although IF you ended up logged in as someone else on a message board... that's not Google's problem.
I doubt it saves form data. |

.....Ye gods.
I can't even begin to imagine HOW those threads can get so many posts; hell, how the board can period! And then there's the problem of keeping track of those huge-ass threads...
I'd love to see the bandwidth bill for this place. It must really be something. |

I guess you have a checks and balances system in international politics. North Korea is checked by China since if they ever pissed China off, they'd be up the creek without a paddle. As long as China tells them "no firing nukes at America/Japan/etc." they'd probably listen since they need China more than China needs North Korea.
Of course, Kim Jong-Il *is* the most eccentric (in all facets) world leader out there today, so...
In any event, I don't see much happening now other than political posturing. |

Elric: It's Gravity. :\ English is one of those mystical languages that they learn from reading TV/VCR instructions and the like.
At least some games (like Maple Story) at least try to put some understandable English on their website when it comes to information and that. As long as the effort's there and it's not a 2-minute rush job. |

I have a funny feeling that Sega could just re-release Sonic CD for the GC and they'd sell 500,000 copies of it. No other games, just Sonic CD.
I think they'll be hard-pressed to fill that disc up, though... although it would be nice to see that Saturn Sonic finally finished. |

I think the main difference between the SC and SC2000 ports was that the SC port was designed with the SNES in mind, and ended up being a popular title released right around launch. The SC2000 port... it came out near the end of the SNES' lifetime and looked like a scaled-down PC version. You do the math.
I prefer 2000 but only on PC, mind you. |

DKC2, then DKC, then DKC3.
None of them are BAD games or anything, but I just felt that the Diddy/Dixie pairing was probably the best/most versatile one in the entire series, and the challenge was there. DKC was challenging as well but DKC2 just improved on it a bit more. I never cared much for DKC3's level design. |

Personally, since I grew up with it, I'd have to say Nintendo over Sega. I think Sega's a great developer and they have a ton of good/great games, but Nintendo just has that edge over them - plus they have Mario and Zelda.
The history of Sega is a fascinating read, actually. I remember a few years back when Sega sabotaged a Sony golf event and Bernie Stolar got axed two days after that. |

Tetris. That's all you need to know regarding my family's game playing habits.
Lolo was VERY popular for a while too - my mom managed to beat it. |

I'll post more in a few minutes, but considering how my modem would NOT sync for the last week... and how when it did, it would be connected for 2-5 minutes... Me thinks I've got you all beat. Minus Taryn. :\ |
