Phew. For a second there, I thought this was a "not-so-Newbie Forum" post. Thankfully you turned it into one right at the end there.

And I do believe that the "Compact" view setting should turn layouts off. I think.

Welcome.

So you can use the emulator but you can't save state? If that's the case, my guess is that you're not able to write files onto the hard drive through the emulator, and that probably has to do with permissions. Not much you can do about that.

And yet we've had several busy days since New Year's. Point? :\

(And yeah, New Year's last year... well... a bit too crazy. Yeah.)

Yeah, but most computer users wouldn't have a clue on what to do with source. :\ I understand it can be compiled for various operating systems, but having binaries available might help.

The rumor is that they weren't happy with how Matt handled it; so basically Edge and Lita commit the sin and the guy who gets screwed over... well... REALLY gets screwed over. :\

Neither have I, but only because there's still no English translation of the game, at least the last time I checked. :\

I want to get into Ys I and II - and I'll play the Turbo version (which was a sleeper when it was released in America) if I can figure out how to burn the image.

OK... This is messed up.

Chelsea lost to Bayern Munich 3-2 but went through 6-5 on aggregate. Score looks closer than it was - Bayern's last two goals were in stoppage time, and they had no time to hit a fourth. So it was pretty comfortable despite the late blitz.

Inter vs. Milan though... Oh boy. Technically, Milan SHOULD be through - they were up 1-0 and Inter would have needed four goals to win the tie since Milan has an away goal. HOWEVER, after Inter had a legit goal disallowed, the asshole Inter fans start throwing flares, bottles and whatever they could get their hands on onto the field. Dida got nailed with a firework and he's carrying a shoulder injury now... anyways, match was called for 25 minutes, Milan comes back onto the field, the fans CONTINUE what they were doing, match abandoned. I feel safe in saying the following two statements:

1) Milan's going through to the semi-finals, regardless of whether or not the last 17 minutes are replayed or they get a 3-0 forfeit win.
2) Inter's in DEEP, DEEP trouble for failing to control their fans.

Anyways... they'd better have extra police there for Juventus/Liverpool tomorrow. That's all I'm saying.

Not at the current price it's not. :\ There was actually an article in one of the school newspapers last week which trashed BOTH systems, saying neither of them are worth having for another year at least.

PSP sold 600,000 units in its first week, BTW. That falls under the "good" category, but not under the "industry monopoly" category - yet.

All I can suggest is for you to go to Zophar's and check out the SNES emulators there - but even if one of the less-known ones works for you, it might not run the game(s) in question. :\

I voted Coke, I'll always continue to vote Coke, and it would be pretty hypocritical of me to say "Pepsi" when I'm enjoying a Coke this very moment.

Oh, I've known about this problem for a bit now. The ACS always displays the wrong date, even though the rankings are right. (For example, today's will be "April 11" so I have to manually change the date, although the data's correct.)

The final list is up, and off the top of my head I think Ghaleon made the cut.

The list is dominated by RPG villains, not surprisingly.

Because it is called Ys. I never really bothered to read any back story on the game.

Eric Idle did the voice of Rincewind.

I don't want to see Trapster enrolled in a statistics class anytime soon.

Considering how many people we have here with a "Z" name (even if you counted SomerZ), and the activity... It's FAR less than 3/35.

The division right now is Trish (VERY safe), Victoria (iffy), Lita (probably safe) and Christy (I REALLY hope they can her once that contract expires).

I'd ask the WWE to go raid AJW and GAEA in Japan for women since they're both closing shop, but that would be asking for too much now, hm?

Oh well.

Spoiler:
Johnny Nitro, Joey Matthews and Melina Perez (collectively known as MNM) made their debut on Smackdown tonight. Finally some OVW products that MIGHT, just MIGHT be worth watching.
