The gamecube has problems when reading over ISO files via the Broadband Adapter and Phantasy Star Online when the "junk" data has been deleted, but it is very possible to delete the "junk" data and still have them work nearly perfect. That will probably be the case when GC emulation gets better, because then I see no logical reason for the "junk" data to be kept there. A good example of a small GC game would be Ikaruga, which is only about 40mb when RARed, but 1.6gb when unRARed because of the "junk" data. |

I heard about running games in that way, but wouldn't it be slow? And well, the "junk" data maybe works as a copy protection. Some bytes here and there. ...wouldn't be surprised if Animal crossing was a small game. (it's orginally a N64 game) and the same with the Zelda bonus discs. |

Ok! Or so many other options. Just check the previews of the upcoming games (already more than a 100th! ) and you know what I'm talking about. |

"I wish things were like this a bit more.." She stretched out and took another sip of her chocolate milk, pondering what she could do while the others were gone. Perhaps spend some quiet time outside in the gardens? The weather seemed to agree with it, anyways. Sofie smiled and closed her eyes, enjoying the sunlight on her face. |

Sensitivity or something, whatever the cause, if I go and play CSFILSM on the 5th mix machine to the side, and then play it on the new Extreme...well, it just doesn't work the same

And some games just won't use the second screen that much. Most will, of course, but they don't have to. One interesting use - Madden 2005. One screen to show the replay, one to manipulate the controls. |

Doing a quick check... Animal Crossing is VERY small. I believe the Zelda bonus is in the 70-80MB range, and Four Swords is under 200MB.

Ok, so Nintendo put 1 extra useless screen just to spend money. I lost faith in Nintendo. |

???: "Oh so this is where you were..." Rain took a slight detour when she noticed something standing at the front. Hey, at least the bathrooms were smartly designed. She was still a bit damp, and the clothes would work but...she really didn't like the idea of going out like this, but she figured there wouldn't be much of a choice the minute she hit the water. What was she going to do...just sit around all day? Oh gee, that'd be nice, yea...[zzz]... Least Sofie was enjoying her time off. For a moment, Rain thought she was asleep, but it translated into calm a few moments later...at least some people had better nerves at times... Ah well... Rain: "Everyone was about to leave...think Anya said something about a beach or something. You gonna come too or what?" |

"I think I'll hide out here until they leave." She smiled and pointed at the chair next to her. "You're welcome to join me, if you feel like it." Sofie closed her eyes again and leaned back a bit. No matter what Anya had planned this time, she was determined to have some quiet time. Her dreams wore her out enough already, she didn't need Anya to add to that. |

Rain: "Ahm..." Rain kinda wondered on this one...wouldn't be much fun having to deal with 'fearless leader' and 'cleric' alone on this one... But then she really didn't know if it was a smart idea to interrupt. Rain: "Thanks but uhm...I better get back just since they're expecting me there and all...if you wanna come with we'll probably be here for a few more minutes before we go...just like...if you somehow change your mind in the next few minutes or something..." Rain figured after that pathetic excuse for not staying, it'd be better to leave her anyways. She didn't really feel about a convincing mood at this point, considering what she was personally dragging herself into. She turned and went upstairs. At least she could say she was doing this for one greater good...seeing Colleen's expression would be something else, but she figured on a set of clothes real fast... So after that...quick mirror check...yup. Rain: ~Okay...we're set.~ |
