As they said last night on the sports news: "Break out the cheese, because Barry Bonds is about to whine." ![](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I don't think he had the hardest offseason out of all the players. Hell, look at everyone dragged to the Communist steroid hearings last week. ![](images/smilies/shiftright.gif) |

The Final Fantasy manual wasn't that bad. From what I remember, there might have been a few parts that sounded a bit off but nothing that would cause someone to flunk an English test. |

*writes down Ziff's comments* I'm going to remember these come E3 time and I'll see if I agree with you or not after Nintendo reveals its cards. I'm not trying to act like a fanboy here, but I think you're way off the mark. Nintendo has admitted that they made mistakes with the GameCube so you'd have to think that the motto of "getting things right" is going through their head. The pressure *is* on them but we have to wait to see how they step up.
Now, back on topic... If Sony claims a one-day sellout for the PSP, then they're likely lying. I went to three stores in the downtown Montreal area today and they all had an ample supply of PSP's (not reserved) as well as games. Not saying it's going to stutter out of the gate (I'd guess they move between 750,000 to 1,000,000) but it's not going to fly off the shelves everywhere. |

The DS had Super Mario 64 - it wasn't a killer app but it was the game that pretty much everyone bought when the system was released. They need a killer app as well although if they do go online with it, that might help.
There's nothing in the PSP's lineup that screams "must buy". Their strength is that they have a strong launch lineup (much like the GBA) and that there's several good to very good games out there. There's no one title that stands out.
I wouldn't call THUG2: Remix a killer app because it's basically the same game with a few extra features. Someone who has the original for the PS2 probably doesn't need it. |

Kitten Yiffer: Protected species means that there's not a TON of them, but that there will be plenty with proper care. More or less. |

Lots of computers have microphones... Although you could just use a button for it which would work for some games if noise itself isn't a factor.
I'll put money on July. |

Define "average". ![](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
And if there were a few minor problems on the board, then that's what they were - minor. I don't think the whole thing went ka-ka for an hour or so. Maybe a few minutes at a time max but people can be patient. ![](images/smilies/shiftright.gif) |

I finally checked out (read: downloaded) an episode last night to see what the fuss was about. (We don't get Robot Chicken in Canada so I'm within my rights to get it through other means. )

Even though that would be hilarious... I don't believe that. Didn't Sony fix dead pixels in Japan? |
