Irish football really isn't the biggest thing, so I wouldn't really know. None of the Premier League clubs, though, I think.

The penalty for Inter became 6 European matches without audiences. That's gotta sting economically.

I'm wondering, where does this whole "we need an official language"-statement fit in with your libertarian views, Vystrix Nexoth?

Let's see, today I got:

The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses The DVD.
A DVD based on the infamous album from 1989, which swept critics and audiences alike, and made The Stone Roses one of Britain's biggest bands, despite the fact that they only ever released 2 albums. This DVD contains live-versions of all the songs + music videos + interviews.

The hippie's comment about being a "business hippie" had me rolling on the floor. This movie was hilarious, a lot like "Dude..." (which makes sense, since it was by the same people), but I found this movie to be even better.

It's about a change of paradigms. How can you be against a change of paradigms? Paradigm changes happen, but, as Kuhn expained, none of them are more "right" than the others.

What does this have to do with the Honda Accord? Did Honda do a commercial like Apple's old commercial, or what?

A little extra information is always nice to bring along when you're at an international message board.

I'm thinking "The Gamorr Z", it gets kind of the same ring to it as "The Somer Z" (which, apparantly, many people pronounce The SomerZ as).

Anyone heard Ash's "Cantina Band". One has to respect a band that calls an album 1977 and starts it off with a sample of a TIE fighter's engine.

Are you sure it's canon? I tried looking around on the internet for this, but couldn't find any info anywhere.

Edit: Hm, it was ok, I guess. Some sloppy acting some places, though. And the Jedi didn't appear very Jedi-like. Two Jedi kissing each other, what's that about?

That should be "[The UK] is [one of] the place[s] where the outcome of [] Parliament decides which party gets to select the prime minister, right?". The UK is more than England, and MPs are elected from all over The UK, thusly the thread title should also be changed. I know I may sound a little anal about this, but I know how much stuff like this pisses off my sister, who only lives in Scotland, so I can't even imagine how annoying it must be to an actual Scotsman (or Welshman, or Northern Irishman).
And the system you are referring to is called Parliamentarism, and it is used in many countries aroudn the world.

Now, then, the little test there told me I should vote Green. I'm not surprised at all, seeing as how I'm a socialist environmentalist. Voting in the UK would have been a horrible, though. Seeing as how all of the three big parties are much too right-wing for my liking.

I think the smartest thing now would be to explain to people about how Norway uses a system of conscription, where all young males finished with secondary education has to serve one year in the armed forces, and that they can be put where the government sees fit.

Of course, if you are, like me, lucky enough to get out of it on medical reasons, you don't have to go through with all of it. Adamant, on the other hand, heh heh heh.

By the way, the area you're going to is basically known for it's great trekking and fishing areas, not that you will get any joy from that, sitting watching the border all day. Oh, the area also has thousands upon thousands of moskitoes (I'm not kidding here). Have fun!

There are ways of delaying it, yes. Being a professional football player playing for some foreign club has proven very effective, but, not many people are that, huh?

I don't know if you can delay it because of university, most people simply go through with it straight away, since it's only one year, and then take university afterwards.
