Honestly, never on our current computer I backed up some stuff onto CDs on our old one, and I still have them now, but they're full of stuff I considered valuable then, and that I could care less about now Most of the stuff on this computer has been downloaded, so I figure if I ever have to format for some reason, I can go back to the sites I found the files at before, and get them again.

I may seem pretty lazy in that respect, but so far the only computer problems I've had were fixable with a System Restore. I suppose once I have a problem that isn't fixable except through formatting, I'll regret not backing files up, but for now, I don't see too much need to

The program totals it up for you, so there must be extra calculations instead of just adding the two numbers

Easiest :: For Gamecube, Scaler. The most challenging part of the game is finding the yellow crystal ball things. The bosses aren't overly-hard after you figure out their weaknesses. Most of them have easy to figure out patterns they follow as well. I can't think of any game I've got on the computer that are easy, as they're all pretty challenging.

Hardest :: I'd have to say Metroid Prime: Echoes for Gamecube. Mainly because of the Boost Guardian On the computer, I'd say Subterra. I still haven't beat a good portion of the levels in the levelset that comes with the game.

That could be a good idea, if you ask me I don't see any reason not to have a forum that covers the food topic in general, since one doesn't exist right now. As far as having a forum for health tips, etc., I don't know about others, but I sort of see the Officers' Club and Anya and Christi's Corner to be that sort of thing

The only thing is how much use it would get. I haven't seen too many things about cooking and similar, but that may be either because I've been looking in the wrong places, or because nobody wants to talk about that sort of thing

Overall, I think it's a good idea, but I wonder what other people will say?

I would assume you like Kirby games, given the first thing you said. They're alright, but not my absolute favorite

Anyways, I saw you spending a fair bit of time reading the FAQ in online.php, so it's good to know that you read it

I hope you have a good time here too. Welcome to the board

This isn't exactly software, but there's two sites I know of that have that sort of thing on them:

:: Site 1
:: Site 2

I actually don't know of any programs that can do that, but it would make sense that they'd be out there, so hopefully someone else knows where to look if either of those links can't help you

I can't really answer the question about school, besides saying that I can safely tell I'm not going to get the second semster of my program this year either I don't mind not having school, although things can get very boring on days I don't have to go to volunteering

I see. I wouldn't be ashamed of doing that, as it's definitely something not all of us can say we do (teaching something, that is).

That sounds confusing enough right there. Although I don't play chess, so that would explain a bit of it I never had the opportunity to make fun of my teachers for making mistakes in class, although it sounds like something that'd get you sent down to the office

Here's another random question for any of you to answer: what do you like (or did like, if you're out of school) the best about school?

This game looks pretty interesting, so I tried it, but I'm currently stuck at a part in the first level (that's pathetic, I know ), where there's three red boxes spaced out over a pit with nothing else in between them to jump on. Since I found out jumping on red boxes leads to death ,I tried looking in the Quick Help in the game to see if there was anything obvious I was missing, but that just gave me 4 pictures that didn't exactly give any information

I brushed up against one of those boxes near the beginning of the level, and the guy you play as turned red. I don't know if this is right or not, but I assume when you're red, you can stand on red boxes, and when you're blue, you can stand on the blue ones. Unfortuantely, I was unable to recrate what I did after that, so I wonder if it's something that you're supposed to do or not.

I tried looking on the site again, as the readme says there's a quick help guide there, but I wasn't able to find anything

So, my question would be, is there any chance you could give us a quick run down of the game basics (all I really know how to do so far is walk and jump ), or point out exactly where to find the help guide on your site? It'd be greatly appreciated

Note: I am being serious.

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't want to be friends / have a relationship with someone that wants me to commit a crime for them. The line has to be drawn somewhere

Also, what if whoever's in charge of the drug test finds out that the urine isn't his? First off, he's going to get in trouble (for what, I'm unsure, but I know he would), and likely have to serve even more time.

As for what you posted, Steak, the best option I think you have right now is to do what Delial said. Tell him just what you told us, and if you don't want to tell him in person, for fear of what he might do, talk to him on the phone or through a similar form of communication. If you went ahead and gave him some of your urine for the drug test, it would only get him past that. Judging by what you said, having to go in for something like this isn't going to change his attitude towards drugs, so it would basically be putting it off until next time a problem like this comes up.

You said you've already decided that you're not going to do what he wants though, so it's pointless to continue talking about that.

Him getting angry because you're not going to help him makes sense, but sooner or later someone's going to have to stop him.

I wish you good luck with whatever you do. You are in quite a fix, but hopefully it turns out for the best

I see what you mean by some parts being quite difficult I'm up to the second level in the Hell World right now, and those levels are definitely hard Level 5 in the Holy World was pretty tedious as well though.

Anyways, as a whole, I think this game's quite good I can't say I've ever seen any other games with the same gameplay, etc., so nice work with the idea behind it. I haven't tested the custom music thing yet, as most of the default music (all except one song, actually ) is stuff I like

There's actually not much I can think of to comment on I will say though, that you've done (in my opinion) a really good job on this, and I like it

The thing that makes me wonder is why the heck that would be there with the keywords it shows in the page There certainly isn't anything related to emulation there, so that doesn't make any sense.

What exactly is bad about that being there? Don't get me wrong. I like this board more than others, but I'm curious as to what they've done to earn being hated

You ordered for a Nintendo for Christmas? I guess you're the one that wants it though That has to be the first time I've seen a SNES controller hooked up to the Nintendo plug It's too bad that the controller you got with it didn't work, but hopefully you're able to get one soon.

Our NES can be a pain to get working, although I think it's more of a problem with some games, and the fact that the cartridge tray won't stay down half the time when you push on it, but it's amazing that it still functions after 10 or so years

1) Mouseover the color of block you want to change to
2) Jump
3) While the guy's in midair, mouseover him.

That was something that got me the first time I played it, so hopefully that answers your question

A question I have of my own now, is what is the music that plays in the first level of the Hell World? I recognize it, and I've been looking for the song for some time now, but I don't know the name of it

Now that you've started posting, it throws the count off Don't worry about it too much, as I can always go and find another non-posting member

Judging by your username, I'd say you like Metroid games, which is good to know. Welcome to the board, and have fun here
