Nintendo let Rare go long after a sequel could have been considered. I think that would have ended up being Diddy Kong Pilot (released as Banjo Pilot), if I recall. (Then again, that game was delayed forever and ever before release - I need to try it. Apparently it's a basic racing game, which isn't horrid.) |

I know that my student health care plan covers a percentage of dental costs, so if I ever had the option of going under I likely would if it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. (Just an arm.)
I've only gotten nova whenever I've gone - except once in Grade 1 when they pulled a tooth. |

And yet there's people who want the G4 girls to pose for Maxim/Playboy/whatever.
Call for Help is a Canada-only thing on G4 here - it helps satisfy Canadian content rules. |

I think I'm more of a fan of Texas Hold'em after watching way too much poker on TV. (Eh, when there's nothing else on at 1 AM...)
neo: Basically you get dealt two cards at the start of your hand and then there's a betting period where you figure out if you're in or out. Usually you'll go in if you have two high cards, two same cards or two suited cards. Then you have 3 cards (flop) dealt down, then betting, then another card (turn), another round and then the final card (river). Whoever can make the best 5-card hand out of their two cards and three of the five dealt wins.
Example: Say I'm dealt two Kings and the cards on the table are a 9, King, 6, 9 and 4. My best hand's a full house, and I'd probably be in good shape unless someone had 4 9's. |

Yeah, but Kitten Yiffer's gone for a few days and that prevents Trapster from leeching posts off him.
Taryn - Wouldn't applying heat as well as ice help? |

Watch any of the poker shows on ESPN (or on TSN since that's how we get them through ESPN in Canada) and you'll figure it out pretty quick.
Of course, the amount of strategy and number-crunching that goes on with the expert players... eech. |

Ah, you're referring to counting the cards.
Some people have that skill and it's not *illegal* to use in any casinos, but if you take in too much money they might get suspicious and ask you to leave. And if you were a pro gambler, you wouldn't want your reputation to be ruined in Atlantic City or Las Vegas.
I guess that skill has to be used sparingly. |

I know there's some on demand services/programs which are free. Other services are selective - you might have X number of shows which are free and Y number which aren't.
It's always best to check first so that you don't get drilled with a heavy cable bill, though. |

Yeah, you just have to sign up for an account, install Pulse and then join the team. Tres simple, to be perfectly honest. |

Nova really doesn't bother me - I can have fillings done and that without any problems.
My only problem is that Nova lasts a REALLY long time for me... 6-8 hours. |

And there's one game I'm "proud" to say I owned.
(Proud as in the fact it was a neat little title in the Dragon Slayer series, "proud" in the sense that the game was extremely difficult with secrets hidden all over the place and waaaaay too many items for a NES game back then.) |
