I took a look at that game before, but I could never get into it, as with most other online games out there that I've tried Either way though, if you like it, that's fine I see you've already made 6 posts, but if you ask me, that's within the limit for being able to post a newbie thread Anyways, I'm getting off-topic, so I'll say welcome to the board, and enjoy yourself here |

Congratulations on your excellent can-stacking job Would you see it fit to try to take a picture of yourself, or have you already thought of that? Just thinking of things you can use your phone to take pictures of Those sorts of phones look interesting, but then again, if I were to get one, I'd probably use it for taking pictures, and not call anyone with it at all |

As Cymoro suggested, let whoever's in charge of the school know about the teacher. Honestly, all your ideas are something I can understand someone in your situation doing, but they all carry a consequence that would fall on you as well as on him. You could try talking to someone that's a guidance counsellor in your school. They may not be the best of choices, but I know when I was in high school, they were the ones that always had something to say about my grades if I was doing poorly. Your teacher has no reason to be able to do that sort of stuff to you. I don't know how things are where you live, but you may be able to take a summer school course to go through the class the right way. That is, unless the same teacher would teach that class As far as the kid that sits beside you, I'm sorry to say it, but you're either going to have to get used to him, or find somewhere else to sit in the class. Everyone in the school, whether retarded or not has a right to be there, as long as they're registered students, etc. When it comes to your parents being angry at you, try explaining to them what your teacher's doing. By what you said though, I imagine they'd think you were lying, so if you go to whoever's in charge of the school, and tell them about your teacher, make sure to ask them to make a call home explaining what's going on. I think it may be something with your virus scanner then I looked on google for both 'sqlhopp.dll', and 'sqlhopp', and both searches didn't return any results Try doing a search on your computer for the file, and see if anything turns up there. If, as you say, the file truly doesn't exist, then I'd place the blame on something being wrong with your virus scanner. |

Welcome back / welcome to the new board then I'd like to say 'it's good to see you back', but I never knew you in the first place I'm not too sure what the details are of what happened to the board, but I'm pretty sure someone else will (edited by Karadur on 01-17-05 07:42 PM) |

I found the music while at a site I download other game soundtrack music from I like the first one better, but these songs are just as good Although, I seem to have different song names than are listed in the tracklist Xeogred posted I like 'The Skies Above' as well, with the part where the guy sings being my favorite The top three songs for me would have to be: 1) Blue Blast - Winning the Rainbow 2) The Skies Above (Final Fantasy X) 3) The Rocking Grounds (Final Fantasy III) Note that the names are just how they're listed in Winamp (and I haven't messed with the ID3 tags), so hopefully they aren't off I was quite suprised when Otherworld came on. I was expecting something like the other version I heard (which is apparently from the Final Fantasy X Soundtrack), so hearing someone singing to it was very odd Overall, I prefer the first one, but there's some songs in here that are very good as well. Would I be correct in assuming you're using ePSXe as your emulator? Even if you're not, I did a google search for the error message, and got a few results, and of those this one looks like it has some info on how to fix your problem. Here's the answer that was given to the question: a) Update your gfx card drivers or (if a) doesn't help b) get yourself a modern gfx card or (if you cannot afford b) c) use the standard OGL1/D3D6/D3D7 plugins Judging by those answers, it seems like it's something with your video card You could try using a different video plugin. Originally posted by Samur4iX Well, it depends on what sort of instructions you want If you want to know how to update your video card drivers, go to the manufacturer of your video card's webiste. In my case, it would be nvidia.com. I'm not sure what kind you have, but find the website, and look for a link on the page that'll take you to somewhere you can download updated drivers. Install those, and try the game again. However, if you want to know how to choose a different video plugin (and I'm assuming you're using ePSXe with this), go to 'Config'->'Video', and choose a different driver than what you have selected already. I'd recommend using one of Pete's drivers, if possible, since I've gotten the best results with those There's some more graphics plugins here, and if you download one of those simply put the .dll file in the /plugins directory in the ePSXe folder. You can get it from the SNES Level Editors section of Zophar.net. Here's a link for your convenience Also, might the link in the sticky thread be redirected to that page until FuSoYa's site is back up? It'd save some people having to ask where to get it (edited by Karadur on 01-17-05 06:39 PM) |

Nice work getting to 1000 posts I've still got a ways to go, being at 609 At least you noticed before you reached that number, instead of finding out when you got to 1100 or something | |||

I just tried taking a look at my layout in IE, and it looked alright, but I've reverted back to the old one for the time being, until I figure out what exactly is wrong with it. I just started taking a look at this 'CSS - the new way to layout' thing yesterday, and worked on making the layout up today, so I am rather new to the stuff (edited by Karadur on 01-17-05 11:07 PM) (edited by Karadur on 01-17-05 11:07 PM) (edited by Karadur on 01-17-05 11:08 PM) |

Oh dear. I logged in with IE, so I could see the layout and now I see what you mean I guess this would be a good time to make use of that 'Layout Help' thread in Modern Art My apologies for the page stretching I didn't realize that would happen |

This isn't so much a request, as a 'what the heck did I do wrong, and how can I fix it' thing I worked on making my layout look good yesterday, but for some reason, when viewed in Internet explorer, it stretches the page a horrible amount both vertically and horizontally Basically, I had a background for the whole layout that can be seen at this link, then another background for the div section, which is the background I've got right now, then the text, sig, and that's it. This is what I had intended for it to look like, and that's what it looks like in Firefox, at least for me Anyways, I'm wondering what I did wrong This is the stuff I used in the 'Edit Layout' page: < div style="border: 2px dashed red; padding: 5px; color: white ; width: 95%; background-image: url(http://tinypic.com/145lc7); margin-left: 1.7%; margin-top: 1%" > < /div > The /div tag was the last thing I put in my signature, just so you know I'm not completely sure about the margin-left and margin-right values near the end, but I had them there because I wanted the div to be horizontally and vertically centered, and that was the only way I knew to go about doing it. If there's another, easier way to do that, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me I used this page, for reference as I was doing it. I found that while looking at the Old Board Archive. I get an error when I try to look at your picture It just says that 'mike.warpedbelief.com' couldn't be found. Anyways, I use BootSkin to change the bootscreens I'm not going to take pictures of all the different ones I can choose from, so here's a screenshot of the selection thing in the program: I'm currently using the 'World Lights' bootskin. I know the screenshots say I'm using the default one, but I switched it right after making this post; it reminded me I had that program The skin is a picture of the Earth, and you can see which areas are lit up by any sort of light. It's not a very good description, but I'll post the preview screenshot of the skin if you want (edited by Karadur on 01-18-05 07:02 PM) (edited by Karadur on 01-18-05 07:03 PM) |

I see. Well, thanks for the help, and I'll keep that in mind for the future if I ever want to change it again (but for the time being, I like this one ) You'll definitely get credit in my signature for the help, so don't think it was for nothing. Thanks again |
