Anyone get into the beta testing for City of Villains? I know someone at work who got the code last weekend, but he wasn't able to play. But he did work on his char and he says that it kicks ass. You get to have your own set of goons to control. But, I like to do my own dirty work.

Anyway, still downloading right now and I have work in the morn, so I doubt I'll be able to wet my lips until later on.

Pressure wise, this is the strongest hurricane on record. Woot.

I didn't want to work Saturday, but with this thing going as slow as it is, I might have too. I might not work Sunday, but then I'm screwed anyway since Monday and Tuesday are my days off. Oh well. At least I'll get paid for Sunday if I stay home.

Anyway....

There's about three tracks this thing can take:

1. It meets up with that cold system and heads for Ft. Myers and then towards MIA and Ft. Lauderdale. This would be bad. My grandmother and father both live in Ft Myers and will take a direct hit. I know they won't come over here, b/c they're stubborn like me, plus they won't leave the animals there (11 cats and two dogs {one of which they are watching for a realtive who went up to NC and won't come down until this passes}).

2. It meets up with the cold system a little too late, pushing it up a little bit, which will move it north of my family, but I might get some of it on my end of the state, but it would be more or an Orlando type issue (Hi Kirby!!!!!)

3. It stalls. It missies the system that could push it our way all together and then it will go back the way it came, this time, a bit more north, now hitting the lower Keys.

1 & 2, if correct, will mean the storm will weaken b/c its been over land for some time. Its said that it will be a Cat 1 or 2 at Fla landfall. But, the Gulf is still warm, so I think it could be stronger than what they think.

With #3, it could get stronger and perhaps stay at a Cat 4.

Either way, I'm worried as all hell but I'm pretty much ready on my end.

I knew that Wilma was the strongest in the Atlantic area, I just failed to mention that.

At least this time around, if the power goes out, there's no food in the fridge to go bad, so I guess no money wasted there.

Funny, this hurricane is srota pissing everyone off and they have no clue what the hell its doing, as written here. At this rate, I'll work Sunday, have me two days off and then Wilma will hit Wed., which is fine, then I can have that day off.

But really, we're already getting storms from this thing, as its been raining all last night and into today. Not good for places that like to flood. So pretty much, its going to be a carppy for the next few days here.

Hey traps, no need to freak out about this thing. Your bro is fine, he's up in northern Fla. This is going to hurt the southern part of the state. And its ususally the torrnadoes that "blow up" the houses. Yes, a hurricane can blow up a house, but its usually from the outside in.

We're finally in a hurricane watch! I might not work on Sunday after all.

But of course, dad is in a watch as well.

we're going to be open today. I swear, if we're busy, and people are buying games during a hurricane warning, they're fucking insane and "dee dee dee". But, we do close at 2pm today. So since today is Sunday, we open at 11am and close at 2pm. Yea, that's logic for ya.

Yea, but then they get pissy when we close at 2pm. We have shit to do too, you know. And we really didn't get a lot of trades in, just people buying games, and one couple got two PsP(s) and games (smart, I say).

A restoration date for your county is available, so you can plan.
Restoration in Broward County will be complete by November 22
