Erm, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Personally, I think...

The Bus>Dillion

But that's just me. While a rather huge part of me picks the Pats over Pitt this time around, my heart tells me otherwise. I'm a die hard Steelers fan. They are my second favorite team, next to the Packers/Panthers (I'm from Wisconsin, currently living in NC, so they're both TIED for 1st; I'll just leave it at that ). Looks like Couer (?) is really serious about bringing this team further than he's ever taken them before this year.

If it's not too late...

There once lived a character I'd love to use, and loved exploiting his deadliness. I've got so many characters, all of which are "stupidly" powerful (if you want to call them that), but none more than this one: Alien Seph. But, due to storyline stipulations, he's had a change in characters, and thus, changed around and molded to something less powerful (it has the potential to surpass it's previous form, but it's currently WAY less powerful), so I instead created an even more powerful prototype of him called Elite Seph. If anyone's man enough to go up against him, or likes using uberly-powerful characters o' doom, just drop a line...

Also, about the last few (consecutive) threads I've participated in in this thread: I was really serious about keeping "up to date" with these threads, and the last was discontinued only because of my lack of online time while I was on Christmas break. I'll do my best to be on top of these threads from now on, and if I ever get the chance to partipate in a tourney round, I'll be more than happy to.

They'll problably just have the current Show/Angle/JBL card end with a DQ with either Jindrak/Reigns and/or Jordan/Bashams interfiering, though it's nice to have the last couple title defenses or so in a row stray away from that.

As far as trading goes, the only real "trade" rumors I've heard was HBK for Angle, which would work better than Cena for Orton. Regardless, it'd take some time to get used to seeing any of these 4 on different shows with the current storylines they have brewing up.

Without a doubt, the 2002 Rollerball. The most pathetic piece of trash I ever dared laid my 20/100 eyes on. It was cheezy beyond belief. I was almost successful in watching it to the very end, but I figured it'd be easier, and less painful, to stab myself in the eye.

If you didn't bother waste $5 admission on this p.o.s., good. Don't EVER see it. I used to think Freddy Got Fingered was the absolute worst movie ever, but this is so bad it actually makes Freddy Got Fingered look like a Grade A movie. Yes, it's THAT bad! Horrible, horrible movie.

Papa Roach-Not Listening

This is the 2nd track off their latest, Getting Away With Murder, and one of the better songs off that album, which is nothing short of great. This is one of those CDs that requires multiple listens for it to grow on you, but when it does, you may find yourself poppin' this one in on a regular basis (if you're a fan of the metal genre, that is). I especially like this part of the song:

"I told you before, wont listen anymore
I told you before, lets settle the score
I told you before, wont listen anymore
I told you before, lets settle the score"

Elite Seph: "Not so fast!"

FLASH BANG!

Suddenly, a blinding flash of light

An ultraviolet aurora blurred, seriously blinding anything in it's path. Of course, the object of this tech wasn't to drain life force from Sion, but to temporarily disable the opponent and live him up and open for attack.

Breaking Benjamin-Rain

This song never ceases to touch my heart. The emotionally smooth lyrics, from the starting, mellowed-out verses to the artful chorus.

"Rain rain go away.
Come again another day.
All the world is waiting for the sun."

I could very well put this one in the same boat as other heartfelt songs such as Stone Sour's "Bother" or certain parts of "Sometimes" by Papa Roach. This is one of the better songs off that album; touchy yet catchy at the same time.

Elite Seph: "Dodge this... if you can!"

4 CORNERS BLAST!

Seph lit up in a golden aurora, purely encasing his body in streams of energy as he had done so.

Then, Seph vividly lept high into the air, and started running a full lap around the arena, tagging each of the 4 corners.

Once all 4 corners have been tagged, Seph lept into the middle where Sion had been standing and then, out of those 4 corners, came HUMONGOUS Kamehameha waves (you'd have to watch DBZ to know what that is; if not, then it's just a gigantic blue energy beam shot from the palm of the caster) at an amazing speed. They went by so fast Elite Seph was barely able to keep track of them even with it's advanced technology.

Actually, I'm now starting to become convinced that the new videogame movie, "Alone in the Dark", deserves an honor for being the worst movie ever. I didn't see it, and I sure as hell don't want to see it, judging from the ovation it got curtesy of Yahoo! Movies, and no, I'm NOT talking about the critics reviews. I personally don't give a fuck what the critics think. They're usually bashing the new movies to come out, anyway (even Blade: Trinity, which was SLAMMED by the critics, I thought was a marvelous flick; hell, I'd see it again, and I sure as hell can't wait for the DVD). It's the user reviews I'm after, and yet they ALL say the same thing...

It sucks. Don't see it.

Popular games that could never grow on me? Well, damn. This one crosses my mind almost instantly: GoldenEye (N64). I don't care what anyone else says. It's quite possibly the most over-rated game ever. Sure it's been fun, but the problem with that is: there's just no replay value, or anything to keep me occupied and want to play this game any further. And that is the case with a lot of N64 games, sadly.

Elite Seph: "Don't play the clone game with me!"

ILLUSION SMASHER!

As soon as Seph called out the spell's name, all 5 or so Sions had been forged back together into one being again! Not only that, but it accumulated more damage for each of the 5 clones that have been present (the more clones the target creates of himself, the more serious the damage this does in compensation for it), and as such, Sion suffered neutral damage.

Elite Seph: "Great! Now it's time for me to play a game of my own..."

RE-DEFINE ELEMENT-ABSORB!

Wierd... Elite Seph stood high in the air, and just let the waves come to him for some reason... could it be that he had a death wish on his mind?

Or was it truly a death wish?

All the deflected kamehameha waves hit him, and yet left not a single scratch on his fine armor. Infact, it did the opposite! Seph merely inhaled the deflected waves, containing them all with ease... looks like Seph's immune towards his own attacks.

Not only that, but when he absorbed the blasts, the spell he had cast allowed him to change the nature of it's element... and thus, Seph had changed it's contents from light-energy to dark-elemental, which he used as leverage for his next attack. His eyes started to glare red as he was emmiting gratuitous sums of energy, which was more than enough to ignite his next ultimate attack.

Elite Seph: "Thanks for the boost in energy! Now, I've been blessed with enough energy to charge another attack I know you will not be able to dodge! So, go on! Hit me... if you can!"

Seph waited for Sion to make his next move...

Is it just me or...

Am I the only one here who seems to think that the Eagles stand a chance against the Patriots? I mean, come on. Just think about it for one second. Their defense has been nothing short of excellent throughout the previous two rounds. They've neutralized two great offenses (in both running and passing) in Minny and Atlanta, averaging just 12 ppg against these two offensive giants. They've beat the second best seed in the NFC, and the respective wild card holder, without their star player in TO. The team hasn't held back even when they needed him most. They've proven that, with or without him, they can win, and this very well could be their year, like them or hate them (which, to be honest, I'm *kinda* starting to like the Eagles; don't get me wrong: I'm not crazy about Philly fans, either, but the team is another story). And besides, no one thought the Pats had a chance against the Rams three Super Bowls ago. EVERYONE labeled them as the "underdog" in that one, yet look what became of them afterwards: Super Bowl champs, baby. Yeah!

Philly's defense needs to remain solid in this game as it has throughout the playoffs thus far, though, if they hope to win. They need to keep Tom Brady, Corey Dillon, and Deon Branch all at bay, and their offense, whether or not TO is apart of that unit during the Super Bowl, must utilize the Patriot's biggest gaps on the defensive front in both running and passing. Right now, with all the injuries on the defensive front, the Eagles have the overall better defense, and New England's D, while still solid even without the likes of Law and possibly Harrison and Seymour, I don't think can hold off a well-written Philly playbook.

My prediction: Westbrook and TO (mark my words: he WILL play) will be "rippin' it up" down the field, and New England's little crusade ends here. Philly wins the big one.

Probably has to be the worst (action) movie I've seen in a while.

And Cube rocks, even the sequel rocks. Cube 1 is a classic. It got overrun by shitty movies that year but boy is it good.

HEY! Don't you bad mouth Biel... my Jessy... DAMN YOU Jizuko!

I don't know how anyone could bad mouth JB, all the talent she has. Contrary to what you think of her, she did a good job in Trinity as she has done in all of her predecessors. I counted maybe ONE "iffy" performance by her the whole movie (the "scream if this hurts, chica!" part; God, that was painstalking). Other than that, she did a fine job. To think otherwise is foolish. And her dazzling looks very well compensates for her acting skill. She's just as good an actress as she is attractive, and I use that term very loosely. She could use to put on a few pounds, but that still doesn't take away from her unprecedented hottiness... seeing her in this movie makes me want to see it again, so badly. But let's not forget that, while she is astoundishly attractive, that that's not why she got the role in the first place. She got the role because she has talent, front and center. And just because she doesn't look good on the big screen (in terms of acting) doesn't mean she doesn't look good physically in real life, either... good God, she is HOT! I sent her my regards on her website, but anyways, enough fawning about Jessica, and time to get down to the actual movie part.

King? I agree with you there... to a certain extent. I personally don't think his brief lack of intelligence he has shown in the movie very well suits the character, or the movie for that matter. But at the same time, the acting, while flawed in several key points (for some reason, I don't find his obsession of the words "fuck" and "dick" very intruging), was also exploited magnificently in others. I must say the "Fuck me... fuck me sideways" phrase cracked me up pretty good, as did everyone else in the theater. And he put up a pretty good fight with "the Game" at one part in the movie, too. Few are those who get to team up with a pro wrestling icon in one scene, even and especially a heel like HHH, it's still got to feel good, and I know Reynolds had no problem collaborating with him on that scene judging from the interviews I've read of him.

Best Blade movie? No. But certainly not a bad one, either. There were a few flaws here and there, but it was rather entertaining, and that's the point of movies, isn't it? It's just one of those movies that keeps getting better and better as the movie progresses. It doesn't get REALLY good until it gets closer to the very end. It had a rather slow beginning, yet a very intruging end battle between Blade and Drake/Dracula, which tells you that there WILL be either a Trinity sequel and/or a Nightstalkers spin-off, and quite frankly, either one's fine by me, better yet, both. I don't know who the next villian would be in Blade 4, though... they might just be better off making a Nightstalkers spin-off that strays (almost) completely away from the original Blade story line and gives a fresh start to an already rehashed series. Too many sequels=bad. Just look at the Matrix and where it left off with the Third movie, which was utter crap in my humble opinion.

Well, Payton obviously can't play in the cold. That's the ONLY reason the Pats were able to shut him down so easily. Sorry, it is. Some guys on this one NFL talk show (forget the name of it) even said so themselves. He'll NEVER be taken seriously as a QB until he learns to overcome climate conditions, no matter how stunning of a regular season he puts up. 48 TD passes means nothing if you can't shape up in the playoffs, well known fact.

As for rousting the #1 defense, you've got to take into account that that was THE game before the Super Bowl, and that gives the Eagles time to look over those mistakes, which were clearly shown in the AFC Championship game. The Pats NEED guys like Dillon and Branch to be factors, and if the Eagles D can somehow shut these guys down all game long, I think they have a chance of winning, and I hope they do. I HATE the Patriots!

And yeah, I think she got the part because some people consider her hot or whatever. Because she can not, in any goddamn way, act. Oh, and lets not forget her iPod. .. I don't think I even need to say anything about it. Holy crap XD

Or like this guy said at a forum;
"The plot is ridiculous, the actors are incredibly bad and the dialogues are disatrous. snipes seems not to be very keen of playing his role again, reynolds is just a big joke and dracula looks like backstreet junkie. not even the effects and action scenes are well done. almost seems like they let a sadistic teenager direct this movie - this is not blade anymore!"
Or this one;
"This movie is an utter piece of crap. The acting is horrible except for a few good one-liners from Snipes. The story never develops into anything coherent. The writing is so God-awful. There is even a line about penis envy. I could not believe what I was hearing. How do people get paid to write such crap? HHH, Jesica Biel, Kris Kristofferson and Ryan Reynolds are all so horrible in this. Cool special effects and stunts cannot redeem this amazingly bad final installment (thankfully) of the Blade series."

Right, the ONLY reason she got the job is because many people find her attractive. Now THAT'S funny! Tell Jennifer Garner, who isn't so bad of an actress herself, that the only reason she was nominated for her role as Elektra in both DD and the DareDevil spin-off, entitled Elektra, was to please horny teens looking for something to masturbate to, tell Kristanna Loken that she got her role as the TX in T3 only because of her looks, not her talent, which she has a helluva lot of both as well, might I add. I doubt the film producers consider looks a priority when choosing the cast of their new movies, male or female, so don't even give me that. I'll dismiss your claims about the movie's acting altogether, but to say that Biel got the role only because of her looks is complete, utter BS. I don't think any of the other aforementioned stars got the roles they did for the same reason you named, either. That's just a worthless excuse to trash-talk a film's acting, which I guarantee you, no one will buy.

Hence not being "badass" enough for you, I don't think they meant for her to look 'badass' in this film in any way, shape, or form. Or Reynolds for that matter. They are SECONDARY characters. Since when did the secondary characters have as big a say in a movie role as the main character? I didn't think too highly of Renold's acting in this movie, and it's safe to say that they purposefully molded his character in this movie just to be funny, all those cheesy lines and performances, though at times, it DID make me laugh. I must say. "WHAT... THE... FUCK?!!?!!"

As for the bow and the iPod. While I do agree that the iPod thing was rather pointless, the bow conception was just to add something new to look forward to. The only problem I had with this movie was the main focus was more on the Nightstalkers and the villians (mainly Drake) than Blade himself. This is supposed to be a Blade movie, not a Nightstalkers spin-off. The title "Nightstalkers" is more suiting than something along the lines of "Blade: Trinity" for this movie.

Um, Pats can do that too

"The Pats NEED guys like Dillon and Branch to be factors,"

Not exactly; seeing as the Patriots have four skilled recievers in Brown, Branch, Patten, and Givens that can all make big plays, and Fauria and Graham who can catch it from the TE position. As illustrated in the Pitt game, Dillion doesn't have to be a monster for the Pats to win.

1) Thing is, unlike Peyton (PRIOR to the AFC Wild Card game, that is), he was never really being taken seriously as a playoff QB. See the Pitt-NYJ game.

2) Not really considering they don't have anything to show for it. It's moreso the opposite: there are teams who should be learning off of them. Not only that, not that it'll be much of a factor in their play, but also you should take into account that they're the defending Super Bowl champs. The pressure is ALL on them. Most defending world champs from the year before don't even make it THIS far.

3) I already mentioned Branch, so make that three others. And it's questionable whether or not the others will be factors against this Eagles D. Of those 4, Branch is the only one in which they have to be on the lookout for, considering how good of a defensive team the Eagles are (not to put them in the same league as the Pats in that respect, but still). Dillon also, but this isn't about RBs, this is about WRs.

I know the odds seem to be stacked heavily against Philly in the Super Bowl. Infact, 9 critics out of 10 say they'll problably get killed, but I still have faith in them anyway. After all, SOMEONE's gotta beat the Pats, sooner or later.

I've heard of Sidney Crosby simiply because I play a lot of Eastside Hockey Manager. He's the #1 overall draft pick in the 2005 entry draft.

And it's pretty much official that the season's going to be cancelled now. As usual, they've shown no further progress in the CBA talks and got nothing cracking in terms of agreement. Shocking, but of course, I was expecting no less out of the latest CBA talks. Safe to say that there's not going to be any NHL hockey any time soon.

Goddamn I hate the Patriots...

Way to make the NFL look more and more like the NBA, when the so-called "Lakers" would always make and/or win the finals, year after year. Or even worse, the MLB and the Yankees, who don't deserve to win another World Series. EVER. Boy, the rest of the year's gonna be great for sports with the lack of NHL. It's gonna be NBA the rest of the way through, which is fun ONLY when I'm bored out of my skull and there's nothing else on TV.

Well, congratulations Pats on capturing their 3rd Super Bowl in 4 years, even though I hate the Patriots (I used to like them, but I've grown so sick of them lately).
