If I'm on a restaurant, I use knife and fork. If I make pizza home or order pizza from the local pizza house, I eat the crust last, like everyone else. Also, if I eat pizza with my friends, I eat as fast as I can to get most slices, sometimes throwing the crust away.

You don't need a particular version of the ROM named Smario3.nes. You just need an American SMB3 ROM, and that's it. When you open the editor, type in the ROM's filename, usually smb3.nes or mario3.nes. Don't forget to put it in the same folder as the editor itself (duh!).

If you don't have a SMB3 ROM at all though, then the answer is no. ROM requests are not allowed at this board. Read the FAQ.

You can get it at FuSoYa's (the author) site, located here. If the download there doesn't work, it's probably something with your CPU.

Oh, and welcome to the board. You got a decent introduction there. Enjoy yourself and have fun.

Cool, right now, I'm the most unknown person in this forum. Actually, I found it when I was looking at my old threads and noticed that a thread I made in Lost Threads long ago wasn't restricted anymore, but closed. I opened it, and saw that it was in a forum called Old Lost Threads.

Posted on 08-26-05 09:38 PM, in Problem when setting up forums Link
I've decided to give my site (DurfarC's Domain) an own board. Ice Man has helped me with setting it up, and everything was fine until I added a category called "Craziness & Fun" and a forum called "Craziness Area". I can see it when I'm logged off, but not when I'm online. I've tried to change both the category and the forum id many times now, but I still cannot see it. What's even more strange though, is that member number 7 (known as Ryjet911 or Sailing Pirate Ryan at this board) can see it, also when he's logged on. I have no idea what's wrong, and not Ice Man either.

You can just see it for yourself here. As a guest, you can see it without problems, but I cannot!

I don't know if there's even a sollution, but all kind of help is very appreciated.

Note: This thread is in no way meant as an advertising thread.

Edit: We found out, that you can see the forum if you're a normal member, but not if you're owner (powerlevel 4) or administrator. It's just... weird.

Edit 2: I moved the disciplinary tracker's category ID from 5 to 15, and now it works correctly. I don't know why that had to be done, but since everything's working fine now, this thread can be closed.

We're thinking that chocolate is best. At least, I am. Vanilla lacks of taste and strawberry sometimes have those small, frozen strawberry pieces in it...

BTW, I also noticed that someone fucked up the poll. From now on, click here to vote for Chocolate. I think that should work.

*runs*

Edit: Forget this, Xkeeper and Lizard King did the same thing already. Anyways, I never thought Kyouji Craw would do such a lame thing. Or wait, did he do it at all?

Chocolate, just plain chocolate. Might be a flavour for the kids, but it still rocks.

How come vanilla's leading the poll? Vanilla's just the most boring taste out there.

I'm using the Super Mario rank set. I've never cared about changing to another one, and the Mario games have the coolest enemies. Also, with the this rank set, I can easily compare my posts with other members.

However, where's the aid from the rest of the world for Katrina's damage?
If you're talking about first aid and such from foreign countries, I don't know why the U.S. haven't got any help yet, but if you're talking about money, I hope you realize that the U.S. is the richest country in the world, as well as being the richest country compared to the number of people.

I don't think I've cleaned anything disgusting in our house, since it's only 15 years old, but earlier this summer, I had to remove lots of wild plants and such outside our house. I had to use a showel to dig them up, and everytime I removed something big, bugs and flies came out from everywhere. Ugh!

The worst place I've ever cleaned, however, has to be the backroom at one of the supermarkets (Ica) in the city. The room wasn't cleaned for ages, and my friend and I got the task. We had to wash the floors and the walls, but before we could do that, we had to remove thousands of half-empty beer cans in the corner of the room. We looked at the dates just for fun, and found out that they were over ten years old. There were a lot of bugs and flies inside them, and the smell was so awful that we nearly collapsed.

I'll never ever clean such a room again.

This looks very promising. I wish I could help with beta testing this wonderful, little machine, but I have way too much schoolwork and other projects going on nowadays... I'll at least look forward to the public release. Finally, I'll be able to create any kind of an overworld without any problems. Good work!

Don't worry people - It's just because fabio has his status inserted in his layout. Since fabio posts nearly everywhere, and his stats load after the thread itself, online.php says that this is the last page you visited. There you are.

Yeah, indeed. No offence, but it really bugs me that the last three members (excl. stinkoman) didn't even read or respond to my post. I know what I said is right, not only because it's logic, but also because Xkeeper said it not too long ago.

In fact, 90% of my posts stay ignored at this board, I believe.

I know the sollution of this situation:

"Woodman, Quickman, Flashman, & Bubbleman, in the 8 boss room of Wily5, they're all glitched."

This happens because the Wily 5 stage boss rooms load the boss graphics from the original boss rooms' scroll directions. For instance, Bubble Man is loaded from scroll data 07 in Bubble Man's stage, since this is where he originally appears in the original level. I haven't found a way to fix this in hex (maybe someone else has), so the only sollution I know of is to change the scroll datas for the original bosses back. In other words: In Bubble Man's stage, you have to change scroll data 07 back to Bubble Man's graphics, and possibly delete the current enemies in this section (07).

I hope that was understandable. I'm tired.

I didn't even know this hack was open for beta testing. Haven't visited this thread for a while.

Being an honest, he's right though. I spent a lot of time with beta-testing Schwa's hack, and I'm sure he was satisfied. Then again, since so many people have applied for beta-testing already, I won't cry if I'm not chosen. But if I am, keep in mind that you won't get the results one hour after I've got the hack. I have enough of stuff going on in real life.

My e-mail adresses can be found in my bio. I never visit AIM anymore though.

Edit: I'm sorry, but since I have sooooo much to do nowadays, I won't have time for this. If I was chosen, I would probably not have enought time to beta test. Sorry again.

Posted on 09-18-05 04:26 PM, in Why did you join the board? Link
ROM hacking. It's a long story, actually. Very long:

Back in 1999, I learned about emulation, that I could play my favourite NES and SNES games on the computer. Already then, I thought it would be cool with level editors for my favourite games. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any, because I didn't know what to search for. In fact, since I didn't find anything, I started to take screenshots of my favourite games and re-arrange the levels in paint!!!

Since I thought there would never be any editors for the Nintendo games, nothing else really happened, until the second half of 2002, when I was searching for midi files at vgmusic.com as usual. Back then, I loved to listen to Mega Man midis, and I knew that Sivak Drac sequenced so many of them, so I searched for him on Google in order to check out if he had a site or not. Luckily, he had a site (he still has it), which got me to download nearly all his midis. At the same time, I checked out a section at his site called "The Adventures Of Bass 2", which is a Mega Man 2 hack...

I played it, and noticed that all the levels were changed. Thanks to this hack, I learned that "there are editors out there!". I performed some search entries on Google, and stumped upon Dragoneye Studios, Zophar's Domain and Acmlm's ROM hack domain.

I started to work on my own hacks, as well as playing one hack after another. The first editor I found was Mega Edit 3 for Mega Man 3, followed by Mario Improvement 3, MegaFLE, Visine, Lunar Magic and some other editors.

Since then, I've hacked a lot, but in the beginning, I only hacked levels with the editors, and I only hacked for myself without joining any communities. It wasn't natural for me to join a message board back in 2002, since I was only 14 years old, my English was horrible and I had no clue what a message board was like. But in September 2004, I finally clicked on the "message board" link on the main site. I saw the ROM hacking forum, the helpful people, the many ROM hack discussions, and thought: "Maybe I finally should join?"

I joined, made a newbie thread and started posting in the hacking forums. It didn't take long before I posted anywhere else too, but unlike 90% of the other people, it wasn't because I had "nothing to do in real life" (I have lots of friends and such), but because I wanted to improve my English. It wasn't that bad in the beginning, but I've definetily improved, although I've only been here for a year.

I opened my own site and put information about my own hacks up there. And since then, I've released one hack, released a demo of another one, asked for help, and helped other people.

I'm still into ROM hacking, and will probably be for a while. I still also post in other forums, since after the first weeks here, I started to realize how nice people here actually was (although there have been some fights here and there)... But ROM hacking is, and will always be, the main reason for me being here.

That's it.
