Teddylot: *tears a sheet from an old school printer* Hmm, survey results are in ...

Apparently, among the actives, we have: one correct answer (Karadur), two stupid people, a foreigner, a tasteless marshmallow, two unopinionateds, and a colorblind killer ... wonder who he struck ... but first, I'm off to call the cops.

Kudos point to whoever can name whoever I'm alluding to. It might seem like a mathematical error at first, but I'm taking a few intangibles into account.

Screen of Points:
NSNick

Teddylot: Hey, where's announcer? ... Maybe they got him. o.O He could be the victim?

Announcer: I'm right here.

Teddylot: ... oh. In that case, I guess Grey killed that one guy on the floor. It would explain the blood puddle.

Announcer: Nice deduction, Holmes.

Teddylot: Elementary. Maybe I should get one of those coolie-o hats?

Question ...
Dee Septor, the famous mind reader, says his job description can be summed up using just three letters from the alphabet. What letters are they?

Announcer: Know who he might be?

Teddylot: Nope, but for casual purposes, he'll officially be reffered to as "Christine."

Announcer: Really?

Teddylot: Yes, really! What? You think I was kidding?

Teddylot grabbed a mystery item from his pocket and used it. He then planted his spear into the ground and pushed up into the air, then brought down his weapon on NSNick's dark shroud.

Teddylot: Now, that's how it's done.

Teddylot: You know what, Grey?! I'm having a pretty crappy time with my computer right now! You're lucky I'm here at all! Well, I'm the lucky one, really ... Besides, I'm going for one mystery item per level. Speaking of which, shouldn't there be a mushroom on my list from Level four?

Teddylot dug into his pocket and pulled out yet another mystery item and used it. He then stepped up to square ten

Teddylot: Well ... at least it was short.

Teddylot was one of the few people still sitting in the stands. He gave a small sigh, then picked himself up and his spear which rested beside him. He grabbed his weapon with both hands and planted the tip firmly into a cranny of the "unfinished" seats of the colliseum. He pushed off using the handle, flew through the air for a bit, and then landed a few feet away from the competitors and his fellow arbiter.

Teddylot: Sooo ... you're the two fighters, right? Thought so. It was either you or those two birds over there fighting over a worm.

The teddy bear reached into his pocket and pulled out a notepad. He flipped over the cover sheet and showed the two a page with a ton of scribbles all over it.

Teddylot: This is what's wrong with your fight. You both failed to make good use of the terrain. You both weren't that creative with your fighting styles, attacks, or characters. You both bored the crap out of me.

Teddylot closed the notepad and rested it underneath his arm and prepared himself for a speech.

Teddylot: When I read a fight, I expect your words *points at the two fighters* to paint a picture. The picture doesn't have to be a masterpiece, it just has to be good enough so that the reader can see what's going on (and so you don't have to explain everything in an "OoC.") A picture also has to be interesting because you, the artist, want people to like it. You can easily make your fight more interesting and more understandable by adding a bit more detail.

Teddylot pulled the notepad out from under his arm and opened it to a second, blank page (except a small little doodle of a dead pea ... or something of the sort,)then showed it to the two fighters.

Teddylot: This is everything in the fight that impressed me. *sarcastic grin* I'm guessing you two have simmed and storied together, right? No doubt, your characters have some sort of relation to each other then. You could've used that to add some sort of story element to the fight. That would've been worth some "impressed points" and some "creativity points" at the same time. None of you used any kind of interesting attack. The energy bomb that APH used could've been awesome if he had only put some detail into his attack. Another way you guys could've earned "impressed points" would be to have exploited a flaw your opponent made, try to pinpoint and attack a weak spot on your opponent, or to use the terrain to your advantage.

Teddylot flipped the page over to reveal the names of the two fighters and underneath them ... their scores.

Teddylot: Cappa ... you get an F. APH Striker ... you get an F-. Why the lower score? Because you didn't post for a whopping ten days!!! In total, you missed eleven compared to Cappa's six!!! You can't get away with huge absences like that and expect to win. Cappa ... my reluctant vote rests with you.

Teddylot put the notepad back into his pocket, then shouldered his spear and headed straight for the arena's exit, hoping that the next few battles would be more exciting and better than this one.

Teddylot: What's this?

Teddylot jumped up to Kirby and snatched the old-looking book out of his hands.

Teddylot: Neat-o! ... Man, it's pretty thick ... you could probably, you know, whack someone real good with this thing!

Zap grabbed the book out of Teddylot's paws and handed it back to Kirby.

Zap: So ... what do you all think of the various houses?

Twister: They sound like a good idea, but wouldn't it be a tad divisive. Besides, isn't there a chance that we all get seperated?

Teddylot: Psssht, that won't happen!!! I got a map!

Teddylot held a blank piece of paper over his head and sported a proud look on his face.

Zap: *inspects it* Looks like a scrap piece of paper to me ...

Teddylot: Maybe ... maybe not. We may never know!

Twister tugged the parchment from Teddylot and pocketed it.

Teddylot: Oh ... you probably failed to notice, but there was one time where I forgot to give him a point.

Question fivety-two:

Ari Grant summoned the waiter and said, "There's a fly in my stew you idiot! I demand a new bowl. Don't try to fool me by removing the fly and returning the same bowl!" The waiter retreated to the kitchen, removed the fly, and returned the same bowl of stew, assuring Ari that it was a fresh one. Minutes later an outraged Ari Gant called the waiter over and exclaimed, "How dare you try to fool me! This is the same bowl of stew!" How could Ari have known?

Teddylot: Ooooo ... new survey results!

Announcer: Hmmm ... what do we have here? ... Ah ... a man of taste.

Teddylot: Or a suck up.

Question six:

Harold Bird married a widow. At that time they each had children of their own. Thirteen years later the Bird kids got into a heated argument. Mrs. Bird exclaimed to Mr. Bird, "Your children and my children are fighting with our children!" Each parent is directly related to nine of the 12 children in the Bird family. How many children were born after Mr. and Mrs. Bird were married?

Teddylot: Oh yeah ... forgot. Kirby ATW snatched away the correct answer amidst many good ones.

Announcer: Oh ... and Uly ... you really don't want to be in that last category.

Twister looked on as his cabin buddy went toward his designated house table, but it was the one of which he had heard the worst of. Apparently, according to the murmurings around him, it was the house that churned out the most "evil wizards." He wasn't sure exactly what these "evil wizards" were like, but after looking at the overall demeanor of the table, he had a hunch.

Prof. McGonagall: Campbell, Samuel.

The tone of her voice was so strict and quick that for a few seconds he hesitated to go in front of the crowd, but Zap and Teddylot urged him on while the other students looked around trying to find out who the character was. He pushed his way toward the front of the crowd and stepped up to the lone chair. He seated himself and the raggedy, old hat was placed on the top of his head. His thick dreadlocks prevented it from being pushed solidly on.

Sorting Hat: Hmm ...

Twister was bowled over when the hat let out the sound. He almost fell out of his seat and it almost went flying to the ground. Luckily, he put his hand on top to prevent this.

Sorting Hat: Quick hands, must be a muggle ... Now, let's see here. You're a determined one, that's for sure. You'd do well in Slytherin--

Twister: NO!!!

Sorting Hat: Have something against them, eh? Well, I guess you'd do much better in Gryffindor then.

Twister looked up at the ceiling and looked at the various banners. He spotted his prospective house's banner then looked down at it's table.

Sorting Hat: In that case ... GRYFFINDOR!!!

Professor McGonagall removed the Sorting Hat from his head and Twister headed past the crowd of first-years, waved to his friends, who cheered him on in return, then seated himself in an open seat at the Gryffindor table, whose members were cheering for him. He heaved a sigh, then looked up at the teacher's table. He spotted Hagrid and the two teachers from the train. He panned the table until he found the calm and caring face of the headmaster. He let out a smile, and got another hunch. He'd probably like being in his new house (as long as his friends were with him, of course), but especially being in this new school.

Zap entered the arena. He had been watching the fight from the coziness of the judges' booth (complete with water slides) and liked what he saw. He walked up to Melvin and gave him his victory.

Zap: Very nicely done. Both you and Toxic showed great skill, dexterity, and power. I was really looking forward to this fight, above all others, because in my opinion, the two fighters with the most style duked it out. Melvin, although you and Toxic were evenly matched, you came out with the win. Congratulations.
