It would help if you told us which soundcard you have.

You could try updating to the latest drivers, but it could be hardware related.

Which OS are you using BTW?

My computerw had a virus, and it was quite unstable. However the worst thing happening was the explorer.exe restarting.

Now I may sound silly, but try to clean your computer for viruses. If it find any but can't remove it tell us what virus it is. And do a spyware check-up.

Hardware bugs is also possible, one of my computer have a "dying" harddrive (or I think it's dying). Win 2000 crashes on that one with a error about closing down for "preventing damage on the HD".

You can set Win XP somewhere so it shows bluescreens instead of restarting. BSOD is still there, but Microsoft chagned it in the home versions that it would just restart. Probably becuse most home users couldn't make sense of the BSOD's.

Germans steal "Warning for the moose sign". Like this one. Hell they replace them quite often I heard, but many toursists shops sells the sign seperatly anyway.

...it's still beyond me why Germans are so crazy in the moose.

...yes the board is six months already. Hell, the day the board "disappeared" on was 11 mars. I know since my last profile copy was from that date. And three hours after my bedtime the board disappeared, which I didn't get to know until I was in the school libary.

I honestly thought it was a early april fools joke.

Anyway, according to the old backup I have of the old acmlm board index.php we had "36740 threads and 774790 posts in the board" there maybe was 50 posts more or a thread or so becuse this was a few hours before the giant deletion.

We have approx 1/6 of our old amounts of threads currently, and 1/6,3 of the old post amount. In three years we reach or old amount... not counting with a increase/decrease in activity.

Delphi [basics] and Java[basics].

Don't expect me helping much with Delphi, I can fix code if there is some errors and such but I forget a great deal of that language. I'm learning Java currently so expect me being better on it all the time.

Downloaded and installed the newer version Firefox this earlier today, pretty nice. I notice that downloads works little better now, but then I had the version which had some problems with the downloading.

I just noticed, they added help. Which is nice for new users.

I have been using Firefox since it was Firebird, version 0.7. and i'm not going to change in the near future. I hadn't tried thunderbird so much thought.

I was sickened when I heard this, i'm glad that the baby is alive. I have only seen photos, not videoclips. I did read about it here. (Swedish)

Probably have to be the day when my great grandfather (granpa's brother) died. Happened on the same day when Jesper deleted over 2000 users on the old board. It was probably a coindence but... he was too nice to die.

And then, I visited the first funeral in my life. And i'm awaiting even more....

Emotionally that was probably one of the worst days, lately I hadn't any day I would call awful. And even, i'm a optimist so even days other would consider "A bad day" would be "a decent one" for me.

Well, you can install Firefox 1.0 over 0.9, however you couldn't install 0.9 over 0.8 before without problems.

And the only pages that starts acting up is usually a few Microsoft page. And Firefox not supporting ActiveX is good, becuse who is using that apart from Microsoft themself?

...and I find it intresting that people working at Microsoft uses Firefox.

My intial reaction "WHERE IS MY PM'S?! "

Yep, I had a little link collection who just vanished. I learnt a lesson to bookmark things when I got home.

But after that, it was fine again when the board went up. I must say that the first few months was... well I got annoyed at people complaining on things.

Either the server did go haywire becuse of the MYSQL got to big, someone deleted it over at the server without realising what they deleted or someone hacked the board.

...i'm still waiting on that november backup.

You know, it was close that it was named Kitten Yiffer syndrome (there is your five bucks Anya). Then I had too much time that new years eve. I also set a personal record on recovering, I just slept two hours after that.

And I hadn't reached Reinfors in long time on this board, I find myself busy with school more and more. And I love school.
