What kind of a video card do you need to play the ZSNES at 16-Bit graphics at full speed. I can only get it to run fast on my old P1 if I kick it down to 8-Bit. I'm thinking of jamming another video card in it! ^^

Post 26:

Well, we don't have High School sports in this country, people play sports in clubs outside of High School. Anyway, for years I played (Association) Football, I was a goalkeeper for many years, and a fairly good one (for being as young as I was, anyway). Then I quit that, and became a defender, mostly playing left back, which was fun. I eventually quit football because I wasn't good enough, but I still love the sport with all my heart (anyone who doesn't love it has lost a little part of what you have to be to be a true human being ). I went on to play volleyball for some years, and did fairly good, but I eventually quit it this winter, even though I still like it. Now, I might actually start playing rugby, my friend brought me to one practice in the neighbour-city (we don't have a team here, my friend wants to start a team, though), and it was pretty fun. I also played golf for a year, when I was in High School the states (so, technically, golf is the only High School-sport I've ever done).

Okay, let's see if I can say this where everyone can understand. A friend of mine wants our relationship based on honesty, I am all for it. I tell her the truth about things, and it blows up in my face. I tell her lies, it makes her feel better. Then she finds out I was lying and gets mad at me again. So yeah, it is a lose-lose situation. Anyone got any stories about this sort of thing?

Almost as bad.

Almost.

Post 35:

As Kirby heads into the room, he finds [Character 1] inspecting a black chest.

[Char. 1]: There you are! What's been keeping you? I had specifically placed a crate in that other room where I could climb up it to get to the Thousand-Year Door, but someone's taken off with it. I climbed the stairs to see if I could see another method of getting up to the ledge, but saw the door to this room and couldn't resist having a peek inside.

----------

Meanwhile...

[Char. 2] and [Char. 3] pop out the warp pipe in the room most of everyone else is. [Char. 3] had been explaining what was known about the Thousand Year Door to her father.

[Char. 2]: -And you need them to get the door to open?

[Char. 3]: Exactly.

[Char. 2] looks up and sees the module-ified Melvinmobile, then down at Melvin and Smithy themselves.

[Char. 2]: Hey, Gurio Saki, New York's thataway. *points west*

Metallica- The four Horseman

Back to my old playlist. THis is one of the first MEtallica songs, and it's on their first album "Kill 'em all", I hope they will perform it when they come to Montreal on October 4th.

Post 37:

Metallia - Metal Militia

Any song about taking over the world with heavy metal is fine by me.

It's from Metallica's Kill 'Em All album, which goes back to thier thrash days. There's not much to say about it musically except that it's thrash. Very aggressive for the time, both in the instruments and the lyrics. Metallica makes use of more sound effects at the end of the song by splicing a track of thunder and a track of troops fighting as the guitar fades away. Very impressive solo, not by Kirk Hammet, who wasn't even in Metallica for thier first album, but instead by Dave Mustaine. They later kicked Mustaine out of Metallica for always being drunk or high when they needed him to play. When Mustaine is fired halfway through the recording of Metallica's Ride the Lightning album, he goes on to create the band Megadeath. Both bands go on to metal fame and glory. More of Mustaine's guitar work can be found in the songs Ride the Lightning and The Call of Ktulu.

Post 38:

What's funny SomerZ, is that you type better drunk than some people type sober here.

Drunk might just be when you have a conversation with a VCR, and or have a conversation with a soda can, get angry at it, throw it across the room, then go pick it up and apologize to it.

Post 39:

That's true, and you're right about the mass of role reversal (points to self on the whole username swap) but there's a matter of appealing to the majority. On the one hand, there are people that probably would go for it, but on the other, and I think, bigger hand there are people that are going to look at this and go 'wtf?'.

Yeah, I have decided that I won't update this thing until tomorrow. (I'm feeling lazy..) You will still have around 24 hours left to guess.

A hint would be, though, that the name of the person making the post will not be mentioned in the post in any way...

And you can always, in some cases, look at what the post is discussing, and then try to connect that to people whom you think could be interested in such things. Or look for certain things in the post like 'special' smilies and such.

Or you could just throw out a somewhat random name or two.. who knows, it might just work..

I'm not going to say more, and I think that I may already have said to much.

I think that it would only be possible if you had it set to not show post layouts at the time the update for the old board was taken. I had layouts off then, so it works for me.

I *think* this has been discussed before, and that this was what it came down to.

Arwon... are you saying we made something, just to prove something else? Everything has to be proved 100% before it can be call a fact, and from what I know evolution hasn't been proved 100%, there is evidence saying it could be true, but it hasn't been proved beyond a doubt.

Now don't get me wrong, I kinda support evolution, I don't lack full support because of my faith, but more of my mind. I really don't like the theory, it just seems to... wierd, and a little impossible.

I haven't voted yet, since I'm asking a question, but right now, I believe that evolution should be teached, just ont taken as a fact and that we learn it like it is the only possible answer. I've had one science teacher who actually taught it in a good way, telling everyone both the flaws of the theory and the reasons why it does in fact work. My other science teachers take it as a fact that we have to know.

Sure, you can suppress your anger... that doesnt mean its good for you Gotta let it out sometime.

Just the other day I was kicked in the back by the dude who had their locker right above mine. It was REALLY close to bell, and by some twist of bad luck, his gym shorts fell through a crack in his locker and onto the floor right after I had slammed my locker. Now, I could have simply taken his shorts with me, but then he would have accused me of stealing them (This guy is kinda hot tempered), so I left them there right in front of my locker. They were gone when I went to my locker after class. For that, I got kicked, yelled at, and... pretty much it. So yeah, I apologized, didnt do much help, so I shrugged it off/

BTW, gym shorts are 4 dollars... so it wasnt THAT big of a deal .

I've had a dream that came true once. And reality fit almost perferctly with the dream (a few details were left out, or I didn't remember them), except for one thing: In the dream I stepped on a dog shit, while in reality I didn't.

And I'm pretty certain that it was a real dream, and not something my mind just pieced together after the event, because I remember thinking about the dream after I've had it, (like I do with most dreams I have), and before the event happened.

As for your situation, BookReader, I don't know.

I don't think I'll ever "break even". On the old board I had 2564 posts in 322 days, and now I have 468 posts in 390.

I would favour Coke slightly over Pepsi. I don't drink alot of soda anyway. But I'd like to try Mountain Dew when it comes to Norway. It's about to come here soon, unless I've missed something and it's already here.

On my taxes, I owed 99 kr. But if it's below 100, you won't have to pay it back.

Meteorology - I like observing and keeping track of the weather. I'm one of those people that would probably love to see a tornado at least once..

I also do like chess, and to experiment with food every now and then.

And I think that graffiti looks nice.

I'm all right handed. If can't come up with anything I would normally use my left hand for, other than holding things. I eat purely with my right hand. Using a knife or a fork or anything else with my left hand feels awkward to me.
