Thomas listens to the disembodied voice speak gibberish and then steps out onto the floor at S1. "The moisture in caves tends to screw with electronics." ---T.Geiger |

Probably not. Not if this is all done with Flux anyway. The nature of the dynamic data relocation would tend to mess things up. That is why the release after v2.00 will be entirely devoted to the whole export/import thing, so as to get around this sort of problem. ---T.Geiger |

Thomas, like a moth to the flame, beelines for S14. OOC: Captain, you did not say which square you were moving to. Are we to assume S15? Remember, he said "around" S15. ---T.Geiger |

I recently found the entire run of Dungeons and Dragons on the net and have watched most of the episodes. It is not really great stuff compared to more modern fare, but for an 80s cartoon that does not primarily feature robots , it is still pretty good. To the guy who asked: They never quite made it home because the show was suddenly canceled during its third season. But the script for the final, unproduced episode is available on the homepage of one of the shows writers. I would love to see this show continued or re-envisioned by an anime company. ---T.Geiger |

I am trying to modify some SFD format movie files. I understand there is a convertor out there called Sega Dreamcast Movie Creator that will shift mpeg movies to SFD. Unfortunately, the first couple hundred hits on google mostly turn up search engine traps. Can anyone point me to a site where I can obtain this program? ---T.Geiger |

Unfortunately, this seems to be a boot image creator, and does not seem to have anything to do with SFD creation. I found a tutorial on that same site before I asked here. It has a screenshot of the program: http://www.metagames-fr.com/Article3_Lire-une-video-sfd-sur-sa-dreamcast.php. (edit) I am trying to edit a Playstation 2 game. It seems a lot of the Dreamcast formats are used on that system also. ---T.Geiger (edited by Geiger on 09-21-05 09:44 PM) |

The tutorial talks about starting SDMC with windows compatibility (apparently it has problems running on XP), so I think its a full program. (edit) Found it at http://www.crackmanworld.com/web/utilidades/categoria_dcast.htm The site seems less than reputable, so I would be careful of what I do there. And it is not even close to being work-safe. It looks like this is an official SEGA product, which would be my guess as to why it cannot be found anywhere. ---T.Geiger (edited by Geiger on 09-21-05 09:58 PM) (edited by Geiger on 09-21-05 10:32 PM) |

I have seen a few tear-jerkers that get me right here :pats heart:. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head all involve Sandra Bullock. ---T.Geiger |

Are you sure you do not have the file open in any other program? Temporal Flux requires exclusive write access. Someday, I should write a graceful error message stating as much. ---T.Geiger |
