| Both correct... kinda. goombas turn into buzzy beetles, but not JUST koopa troopas move faster. Every walking enemy besides hammer bros and Bowser move twice as fast. | I know what you mean about bus drivers. There is one that gets pissed at me for not knowing the exact place i want to go, then if I don't say im a child he then says to me an an angry tone "if you don't say you're a child i will charge you adult prices" even though I'm 14 and I look 14, he already knew I was under 16 so only had to pay child price... they are just mother f***** in my opinion. | |||

| Um I already made a thread about this a while ago... Anyway, the US version was very cruddy compared to the UK version I'm just currently waiting for some downloads of red dwarf seven (I got three already, five more to go) it was and still is a very funny series. And if you look down the entertainment forum a bit you'll find a much more informative guide on red dwarf that doesn't just say: "In England we had a program called Red Dwarf. I think you had an american version for a bit. check it out. www.reddwarf.co.uk I hopoe you like it. I think there bringing out a movie of it some time soon." The movie won't be coming out any time soon as they don't have enough money to start filming it :\ |

| Also, at least there is some challenge with mario games... one of the main reasons adults still play the games. In most sonic games, besides Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog, all you did was keep hold of the > button on the joypad for about 1 minute and you complete the level. At least the was some sort of adventure and challenge in mario games. Also, how many blue, lightning speed hedgehogs can there be? Right I admit that it is a bit childish that Mario games are based on a plumber who got sucked down a drain into the mushroom kingdom, but a BLUE HEDGEHOG!?!?! that runs at light speed??? At least there is some form of realism in mario games, for a start Mario is human And btw D.C, I don't think he has actually played a Mario game, and if he has he hasn't played it further than half the first level, or if it is SMW he hasn't played any other level besides Yoshi's House :\ (edited by RYjet911 on 05-27-05 02:50 AM) |

| wow... someone agreed with me? TOTALLY?!?! Anyway, the only 2d platformers that I like when fast paced are 2d platform shooters, as there is someway of killing the enemy when you see it, rather than running into it, and THEN being able to avoid/kill it. Also, the fact you die when you have 0 rings is plain strange. |

| The first question seems quite easy but the second im not entirely sure. They are both based on a Metal Gear Solid game I'm making 1) How do I make it so if you are coiding with a wall, walking your character against the wall it press up against the wall so you can sidle across it? 2) How advanced can 3d objects be on GameMaker, and how do you make 3d objects that advanced? |

| All you ask them is "What path would the other goomba say?". The truth goomba will say "He would say he shows the real path" and the lying goomba would say "He would say I show the real path". The lying goomba has to say this because in reality the truth goomba would say his own path, but because the lying goomba has to lie he has to say the truth one would say the lying ones path is correct because he has to lie. The truth one says what he says because he knows the lying one would say his own path, and has to tell the truth that the lying goomba would say his own path. So whichever goomba says "He would say he shows the real path" is the truth goomba, so follow his path |
