Do you still believe in marriage and true love? And do you agree with gay marriage? (You'd better, or I won't let you come to ours )

I'd have to say both. While I love my C64 like a little brother and my Megadrive, there are good games coming out for PS2 and all that. I think there's not such thing as a 'Golden Age' of gaming, every console had the excellent games and the so-bad-they're-really-bad ones.

It had better come to Europe, or the Square offices are going to have a *very* unhappy girl camped outside. It all looks good so far. I'm really glad Vincent's going to be in it, and even though I'd probably watch it subbed, I hope he gets a half-decent English VA.

The only stuff I tend to download is anime or videogame tracks. Or other versions of songs I already have like 'My Immortal'. If I can I like to buy albums, I like the artwork and lyric sheets. If someone's done all the work just to entertain me, I should at least pay them for the privilige.

I cried so much after watching that. I think the relative shortness makes it more emotionally bombarding. It has to be the saddest thing I've ever seen and I'll never watch it again.

There's no difference between my relationship with Kasumi, and Boy A's relationship with Girl B. In fact, I'd say our relationship is stronger than a lot of straight ones, we've been through things that long-married couples would get divorced over. The religious arguement is vaild in so far that churches maybe shouldn't allow gay marriage, but I'm not Christian, and Christian values shouldn't have any meaning in a non-Christian ceremony. In fact, I'd say my love for her is the closest thing to religion I will ever find. I admit that I maybe don't like Christianity much, but having your own mother tell you you're evil, unnatural and abnormal will do that to you.

The whole 'Marriage' vs 'Civil Union' thing is just semantics. They're the same thing, but if I was allowed a 'civil union' I wouldn't argue. Although, I don't think getting down on one knee and saying 'Will you civil union with me?' is quite as romantic.

How exactly is gay marriage making anything worse? Is my love for my Lady somehow less than your love for yours? Does the marriage between two strangers effect how you carry out your relationship?

But what about those of us who don't follow the bible? I don't think its right that conditions should be placed on me by a religion that I don't believe in. *shrugs* Love is love right?

I think the 'line' is consent. If you want to marry two people, and they want to marry you fully knowing you are marrying both than I personally don't see the problem. Hence you can't marry kids, dead people or camels because they can't consent.

Did Christianity really invent marriage? I would have thought it was a lot older than that. I'm quite curious, I love knowing the history of things.

It was better than FFX, which admittedly isn't hard, but it was getting a bit samey. Then again I didn't play for long, got bored. The battle system was quite what I expected, I was thinking of some Vagrant Story-esque thing but it was still good.

I'm going to go all girly on you and say marriage = love. If six people love each other and devote their lives to each other then good on em. Marriage, like religion I guess, is what you make of it.

This is sacred. My relationship is a damn more sacred than straight people who just get married for money, or under the influence. I'm not disrespecting anything. I believe in the sancity of marriage a great deal. I think its disrespectful to assume my marriage is less holy than anyone elses based on my external genitalia.

I am a voter. The government has a certain right to fulfil my expectations of it. This month, the UN are going to vote on whether sexuality and gender identity should be added to the list of human rights. If it passes, then coupled with the existing human right to marry, it would be a violation of my basic human rights to disallow me to marry.

I have the right to marriage. Its as simple as that. And using gender to allow or disallow it is sexism at the very least.

And we're UKbies.... but it is still an issue over here, and like it or not, whatever the US does we end up copying

I believe we are under the influence of fate, and yet we can ignore it if we choose, we have free will. There is a difference between seeing the path and following it.
