I already had understood it. Anyway, AFAIK, the symbol placed in the upper side of a few japanese chars are identified by its ID. It means if you replace it by a "normal" symbol, then this symbol will FOLLOW the actual.

All the RCW games uses emulation (or near enough). You can locate the original NES ROM inside the PSX disc very easily, except that graphics were converted to PSX own. My doubt is - by taking RCW6 (Rockman 6) and its data location, how could I replace the original data by an hacked data (using sixtans, my MM6 editor)?

I already saw a PSX "disc builder" packaged with an (old) NES emulator but... the disc was unbootable when I assembled & burnt it.

Excellent. The 1st screen remembers Megaman2 WoodMan's stage by the way. It's fine, indeed. Go improve the level design and (perhaps) a new font (italic would be cool).

It seems the Swap Methods do not work in a modded PSOne... :| I already tried several times here, keeping the CD cover opened and using a trick to activate the cover lock for quick CD change.

In fact, I could boot Rockman once again... to get that red prohibited logo (Japanese on American PSX?). Anyway, I couldn't boot it for a SECOND time again.

I need a JAP->USA patch to get Rockman 1 [JAP] Complete Works (PSX) booting.
Thanks.

You're out of information I believe. Well, I might rewrite it to JAP -> USA NTSC. You know that Japanese CDs are not bootable on USA PSX, correct? I got a red prohibited logo trying to boot Rockman CW. So, that's why I need a patch. I've found for Rockman2 and 6 only.

Got it? Instead of joking... be more constructive.

There's an issue regarding the recording speed - it must be the lowest possible. Recently, I had to re-record a few of my games, the CD was with problems on sound. On re-record, they were gone. I used 4x this time (lowest possible here), against 52x before.

Check if the graphics are visible in a .BIN image (non-interleaved).

For some unknown reason, a game might write values higher than the actual number of PRG-ROM banks. This way, if you "expand" the game, you WILL HAVE problems. Internal hacking is required in order to trap that invalid value and fix it.

Remember - there's no MAGIC WAND on romhacking.

Indeed it is the European version. It's NOT a hack of a FDS version (if any).

A particular tile for grounds would require ASM hacking. Since he said "updated graphics only", then it's okay, an awesome work.

For some reason, I can't access any of your pages within shockwave. It starts to download the 'Xtra Package' but no transfer begin. Either IE or Netscape have the same issue. Any help?

First off big N, was the GameCube a 'fiasco'? Well, I dunno... but the n64 was... Wasn't it?
Anyway, what's the point of creating a new console with a VERY SINGLE design that looks like the old (and good!) NES gray box, but MUCH smaller? Hmm, I could carry it on my pocket...

Now, the "new" GameBoy. I'd say the GBA SP has a "decent" design, but the 1st GBA model looks nicer, fits on hands much better. OKay, for a detail... the "new" shape is a... NES controller within a SMALLER screen!? Man... and I was thinking the GBA screen very small... :|

They are out of ideas, completly off. Good times of GCN pre-release... but a bit frustrating after the presentation of Luigi's Mansion... of being "simpler" than the pre-release pics. Nice, anyways... but the disc media was too small to fit the games, am I wrong? The superb DS is nothing more than a n64 "with pepper" and the double screen is... something like... you avoiding a press in the start button to look the gaming status, or whatever. Ouch.

Out of ideas? Yes, a couple of remakes for a new console. Do you remember? Super Mario 2 on GBA, and then Mario64 on DS! Please...

Could you re-release the NES? At least, I love the cartridges, its heating... MegaMan, the plastic case, the big blow in the connectors... rather than scratched mini discs.

Well, this text was written 'for a funny discussion'. I would go post here, but I think "crazyness"... so... Don't take it as 'l4m3 sh*t', please... I'm only surprised by this "new" stuff and the 'out-of-ideas' attempt for game creations - the remakes. My guess is the Nintendo marketing - heh, it made the sales to increase. I wonder... what was the Sega error? Remember the times when Genesis had the SuperNES as 'rival' ? Or even Saturn x Nintendo64?
