Lets hope its Sept., because ny usual customers and myslef, are getting a bit antsy as to when KH2 actually comes out. |
We even got an e-mail from corp. office, saying that they don't want the same thing to happen that happened with Halo (taking so long to come out) so there is no date set in the computers. And now...where the hell is FF12?!

I LOVE B&B!!! I used to play it as a kid on the orginal NES, and now I have it for my Gameboy. I am so in.  Once I have the chance, I'll look at the game....this is something I would love to do...and it makes me so happy...like...like, I just found Uno online. OMG....Uno online, I would own you all!! If only I can find it....

Its always about numbers, it seems. Yea, we like to be pricks sometimes, but for the most part, the guys at my store, are just playing around. We like to have fun while at work, you know. I mean, come on, its a gamestore, we're supposed to be laid back. Like today, some kids were returning some games, and we were asking them if they broke the games, or throwing the discs around. And then you get the kids who think they're "all that". Also today, some middle school punks come in, with a can of power juice that's called "Pimp Juice", and they were like, "oh you know you want some pimp juice" and shit like that. Really cocky too, but I won't get into it. What bothers me (besides some other things) is when minors get mad at us (sometimes their parents get mad too) for asking ID on a M-rated game. I'm sorry, but I've worked too damn hard to get where I'm at (I might have my own store by Christmas), and I'm not about to get fired b/c some kid wants an M-game. Not my problem the FCC wants to slap on a rating system for games. Maybe if the parents taught their kids better...but anyway....lets not make this into a rant. We try to have fun at my store, and we're honest. We've got those who hate Xbox and those who hate Ps2. And we all respect that. And if someone wants a game that we heard/read/know sucks, you'll know about it. That's why we have used games....so you can see that it sucks and bring it back in 7 days (shameless plug). Oh how I love it when customers (mostly guys) come in and see me there, and then they ask something, and I throw them a curve with my gaming intel/knowledge. Save for Xbox, since I just got one, and I love Ps2 way too much to really care about Xbox.  Okay...this isn't a rant thread...I really need to stop right.....now.

It was my first MMORPG, and, well, it was ok at first, but the people online are a bit "stand-offish" and, well, I just couldn't get into it as much as I thought I would.

I've heard calls about dead pixels, but haven't seen any, save for the one that the Sony rep had. We've even gotten an e-mail saying if we don't get any walk-ins about it, they should contact Sony. |
Honestly, if its that bad, and if we have enough to spare, I'll trade the PsP out with another.

I don't mind cooking with brown sugar (some rum, banannas, and throw it on top of some vanilla ice cream), and I use white/powderd sugar on my waffles, so both work for me. |

It was insane (I've been using that word a lot tonight). People were coming in, trading their old items to get more money for the PsP, people asking for it, buying it, and of course, being back defective ones. One case, the X button would not work. Another case, it wouldn't even turn back on (power switch was broken) and we've gotten a few calls about broken pixels. I guess they didn't learn from the Japan release. We had over 60 reserves, and we got about 80 of them in. When I left tonight, we had about 20+ left. We are taking reserves for the 3rd shipment, which should be sometime next week. Here are the bundles through our website and not at the store. It's fucking insane!!! The Specs can be seen here, and nothing really on the AIM feature, as far as I can tell. Ah, found it. It shows the attachable keyboard for the PsP. ~~ I got a PsP. Yea, I know, save it. I wanted one, I had the games that I really didn't play anymore, so there. I only paid $30 for the PsP; talk about sweet, huh? The screen/picture, is beautiful!! Spider-Man 2 the movie looks amazing on it. I don't even think my TV has a picture this good. I got the USB port so I can throw some songs on there to start off. Later on, I'll get more memory, but for now, I'm good. Everywhere is out of the three games that I really want, so while at work, I played a few that we did have, and I went with Wipeout Pure. Game's great, just gotta get a feel for the controls.
